"Victory Lounge, South Lake Union by Wexley School For Girls. Getting tired of all of the glam and glitter? Head up to Victory Lounge for a good ole fashioned dive bar. The neighbor to two "secret" DIY venues Victory Lounge is the place to grab a $2 can of Olympia, a hot dog and wait for a show next door."

Shortly after moving to Seattle I’d go here often and before and after shows at neighboring venues. Attended more than a handful of shows here as well, the majority were pretty good. Has become increasingly cliquish, relatively unfriendly and strange. The bartender, regularly has an attitude and can be a bit condescending. The food is 3/5. Serves a variety of hotdogs, the chili fries are good. After my past few visits, I can’t say I’ll miss it when this bar is leveled for the next high rise. I’ll still stop in when I’m next door for a show, but only cus it’s there, not as a destination.

My friend was having a concert here and I was honestly a little sceptical at first because this place is pretty small....Buuuuuut, y'all proved me wrong. First off, the hot dogs are great and the beer is flowing at a good price. Second, the intimate space made for an awesome musical experience.

Stumbled upon this place looking for a place to watch the NBA Finals that wasn't too crowded. I love a good dive bar, and I will probably come back for some after work drinks sometime. Nice un-pretentious spot in the South Lake Union area. Drinks are cheap, and service is friendly. The menu has different hot dog/sausage options in addition to other bar staples. There is patio seating an as we were leaving a band was coming in, so looks like they offer live music.

Good food at very fair prices. The drink prices are as to be expected at a dive style bar in the area.

I was so impressed with this hole in the wall. Great staff, karaoke was a hoot, drinks were standard but the totes were hot and crunchy. There was a birthday party happening when we came and the decorations were delightful. A lot of history here as can be seen scribbled on the bathroom walls. None the less, bathrooms were clean and that sink is b-e-a-u-tiful! Thank you victory lounge. So glad to enjoy your space before it gets torn down.

See I always love these places. There's a quaintness to them and the Victory Lounge is one of them, that despite practically being right underneath the freeway downtown, there's a hominess and intimacy that are had with dive bars. Maybe it's the fact that it's a small place compared to say the duchess. But it doesn't lack any of that punch. It's a place perfect to gather after work for a few drinks, the Tater Tots are great (but it's pretty hard to screw up Tots) and the bar keeps are great. It's a neat little place.

Great staff, decent food. And the long islands and pink drinks are to die for! At the end of the night the bar did an impromptu karaoke session that was super fun and hilarious! If you are looking for a new watering whole and you live in the area....make this your spot. Also try out Taco Tuesday and Thirsty Thursdays.

I hesitate to rate this bar. It's amazing, but tiny and I dread the day I show up and can't find a spot. The beer selection is modest, but excellent. The food is greasy but delicious (get the Victory Dog, your soul will thank you). The staff are wonderful and you should tip them extravagantly.
