Very good museum for history and ww2 enthusiasts. The museum tells the story of ww2 from the aspect of Russia. I was shocked to see there was no English descriptions anywhere. We used some google translate to be able to understand but it was very exhausthing overall. Hope they add English translation too, because one day I would love to go there again and read everything in there.
Very cheap entrance fee.
Can go check definitely.
In the upper floors, floor 2 and 3 there were more things to check but unfortunately the lady refused us and said only tour groups can enter those parts of the museum. If you are travelling alone or with a friend its very sad to only can see the half of the museum. :(

London was awesome this is the best. The best museum I have ever visited and it has a lot of staff about WW2. It's not about all the way to the victory of the red army. It also has a number of tremendous items staff German American and of course Soviet. It recreates in a room perfectly the Reich stag as it was when it fell. It has a lot of souvenirs that the Germans left to the Soviet when they lost the war. And the think that I will not forget was the exhibition is the memorial room which is worthy watching it.

One of the best museums in Moscow!! This is definitely worth a trip to see. It is a beautiful and informative museum. Plan on spending a whole afternoon or more here as there are 4 floors FILLED with memorabilia, dioramas and displays. There is also a theater. When you are in this museum it feels like you are in a different world, it truly takes you to a different mindset where you develop a greater appreciation for the War and all those who died. There is also a beautiful outside area. I still think back to this museum often as one of my favorite places I have been! This museum is also completely wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets!

A great museum dedicated towards the World war 2 as per the Russians.
It displays the different aspects, scenarios, situations during the War.
They also have a different section dedicated to the weapons, tanks artilleries used during the war.
It is highly informative once you spend some time reading the descriptions provided in Russian/English at different places in the Museum!
Its is great for everyone interested in the history of World War 2
You can easily purchase entry tickets inside the museum.
Very well managed as we visited in September 2021.

It is breathing and making you to think of the past and what happened. Must visit it is not expensive only 400rub for inside and outside. Take your time, enjoy and educate yourself

A spacious garden with fountains and monuements around. The information write up are 95% in Russian, thus losing a star. The audio guide is 320 rubles, but it does not cover everything however I feel it is still worth going for it audio to understand the stories and history behind the pictures.

Spectacular!! Interactive museum. Many things to see. Very good war scene demonstrations. Outside area in an amazing park with war tanks, airplanes, helicopters, bunkers and ships. You can spend a whole day in the museum and in the park with war monumets and statues. You can rent bikes and buggies etc. Nice view from top. During dark fountains are amazing in the red lights :)
