Victory Road Villas

Victory Road Villas in Phong Nha is a must stay location if visiting the area. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and despite the not so fabulous weather, there is so much to do and the staff go out of their way to organise whatever you need. The restaurant and bar are fabulously quirky and cosy, offering an open fire and comfortable sofas, to a funky bar area and lots of tabled seating, both inside and out. Sitting outside, overlooking the river and watching the village come to life was a highlight. I had probably some of the best Vietnamese food of my life at the villas. Our accommodation seemed high end for the price point, was very spacious and clean and offered views over the river, which we later were lucky enough to go down on Dragon Boat as we travelled into Phong Nha cave. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Victory Road villas. The staff are lovely, very helpful and always on hand to us with whatever we needed. The rooms have a living room and kitchen downstairs with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, so more of a small flat than a hotel bedroom which we liked. The restaurant does great value food with a few more western options which we liked having been in Asia a few months now and the breakfasts were really good as well. Would definitely recommend!

Best place we‘ve stayed at in our 4 month travel so far. Rooms: You‘ve got a whole 2 story villa for yourself, ours had a beautiful view on the fields and mountains. It was spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Staff: The staff was exceptional. Very nice, caring, professional and really good english. The manager was super nice as well! Location: Perfect for exploring the area, lots of restaurants nearby. Food: Breakfast was exceptional, they make their bread themselves and the Pho was very tasty as well. For Dinner, we ate mostly outside, as we were a bit on a budget, but the one time we had Dinner at the hotel, it was delicious as well! If you visit phong nha, consider to stay at this place!

We ended up staying longer than we originally planned because it was just such a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – from the reception team to the manager and even the owner himself. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The owner even took us to Farmstay where we could use the gym for free, and he shared a lot of insights about the area. Especially with a typhoon coming, their advice was super valuable – they gave us great travel tips and helped us figure out how to adjust our plans safely. The rooms were spotless, exactly like the pictures, modern and stylish. The area around was quiet, the pool was clean, the AC worked perfectly, and housekeeping did an amazing job. Everything felt just right and made for a really comfortable stay. If I had to point out one little thing, it’s the food prices. For Western food, it’s a great place – but for Vietnamese food, it’s not the best spot, and it’s a bit pricey. Of course, you don’t have to eat there… unless you’re stuck because of a storm, then you might end up trying it anyway :) All in all, a fantastic stay – super clean, super friendly, and highly recommended!

Chose this hotel because of the location and great reviews. Glad we stayed here. As is often the case when you travel to a remote area, we had a couple minor inconveniences with some water leakage in the bathroom and coordination of events but what makes a place great is how they respond to those events and the team at Victory Road Villas took quick action and showed genuine care for ensuring we enjoyed our stay.||Yes the villas are spacious and nice and the food is very good(the steak and salmon were highlights and you can't beat the pizza happy hour) but the staff is the highlight of the show. Every one of the members of the team has good energy and did a great job. There were a few stand outs. Hien in reception is amazing! Followed up multiple times with weather updates and suggestions to maximize our time and set us up with a very memorable easy rider tour.(Highly recommend) Lan at reception was also wonderful and helped us plan, rent a scooter(also recommend) and coordinated our departure ride. While I'm sure they give the same level of service to everyone, it really felt like they went out of their way to take care of my wife and I. Also Hong was a standout at the bar. She's full of bubbly energy and was very kind and made great food recommendations.||We had a very memorable and enjoyable stay. We chose the location for all of the above and were not disappointed but the added bonus was hearing about the colored history of the area and getting a small glimpse of the local culture.

Love love our stay here! We booked for 2 nights and extended for another. There was a typhoon when we stayed and the whole team ensured we are safe and informed of the situation... they had the generator run the whole time and we didnt feel that it was brownout. The room was excellent. Spacious with nice choice of furnishings and little details. Our villa was complete and with a full kitchen and a TV. I love the outdoor shower and the bed was so soft. Our daily breakfast was also very good. More power to the team. Appreciate your service! Will stay here again when im in phong nha

We had an absolutely amazing time at Victory Road Villas. The staff were the real winners. They were genuinely interested in our wellbeing, day to day activities and were ready to assist us with anything. We are sad to leave! The resort itself was lovely and pleasant, with its minor quirks easily forgivable. We will miss the community feel of this resort and hope to be back soon! This place is beautiful, we would have stayed longer. We arrived at Phong Nha in the late morning and checked into our initial accommodation and we were not satisfied. We looked for other options in town and we found this amazing gem of a place! We were so happy they had availability last minute. The property is very well maintained and clean and the amenities (pool, restaurant, bar) are fabulous. Delicious food and very friendly staff. The owner was very kind as well. The villas are lovely! The outdoor tub was a nice touch and I had a nice bath. The furniture is great quality and it had nice tasteful decor. We were sad we were only staying in Phong Nha for one night or we would have had a longer stay.
