VIDA! science center

A nice science museum, nothing more. Maybe I didn't read the recommendations well before, but in my opinion there's not much for older children (over 12) to do there. We were there for barely an hour, my kids got bored quickly (12 and 15 years old). I gave it a 4, but that's barely enough.

The centrum itself is nice, plenty of activities for kids of all ages, time of visit will definitely 3-5 hours. Nice outdoor areal available on summer. Canteen, however, sucks. Dirty, rude personal, time of preparation of pre-cooked frozen pizza is 3/4 hours. If you plan full day visit it would be wise to bring some food with you.

Open, wide space with many different areas where children and teenagers can explore different kinds of science. The place is modern and everything is described in different languages. The children around have a lot of joy while exploring everything. Nice coffee bar on the first floor fir the parents to rest and relax. If you plan to go to Brno, you should spend some time at Vida!

A must-visit with curious children. When we planned our stop here from Olomouc, we were expecting to stay for 2 hours, but we left after 5 hours. Me, my wife, and our 4-year-old had a blast. Don't miss out!

Even though the VIDA science center was made for children, even as an adult I had a lot of fun here. Trying out all the experiments was very fun, if you never had the chance before. I can recommend it for everyone who is interested in science. 2 hours weren't enough though.

Amazing science museum, fun and educative for both kids and adults. Many exhibition pieces and most of them interactive, which makes it even more fun! Definetely recommend!

Very interesting and fun interactive exhibition for kids of all ages and adults. Took us over 3 hours to see and play with everything. Languages: Czech, English and German.

To my six-year-old daughter, VIDA is the coolest. Despite being in one giant room, the exhibits are diverse and interactive. You can make a tornado, test electricity, make paper airplanes, and so much more. The highlight was the art area with every type of supply imaginable. You get to take home the art you create! There’s an outdoor area, a two-level slide, a cafe that sells ham and cheese sandwiches and popsicles.
