Horrible! Prepare to waste a lot of your vacation waiting for transportation, waiting to order food, waiting to receive your food, waiting on hold, waiting for the app to work. Don’t waste your time and money. Go somewhere else!!
We are staying in the Kingdom of the Sun building, and it takes a minimum of 45 minutes to get anywhere (restaurant, main pools, beach). They don’t have enough transport carts to handle the volume of guests. The central plaza transport station is a mess. See the picture to see what you’ll experience, hundreds of guests waiting for their ride back to their hotel and none of them know which ride is the right one. Everyone just shouts out their building every time a tram drives by to see if it’s the right one. They need to create a second transport hub and divide the traffic between the two, and they need to add more trams.
The other major issue is the mobile app.. It’s very slow and unstable. You can’t log in (see other picture), so you can’t book any reservations (meals, golf, massage, tennis etc) through the app. You have to call the front desk and ask to be transferred to the right restaurant or golf pro shot and then wait/hope someone picks up. But because the mobile app doesn’t work for anyone, everybody is trying to call, making it impossible to get in touch with anyone. The phone is either busy or you get stuck on hold. See the picture to see how I sat on hold for 28 minutes only to have them hang up on me. This is part of the daily routine. Many of the event descriptions are incorrect. Also the app doesn’t have navigation capabilities like the Vedanta in Riviera Maya. It has a map, but it doesn’t give you instructions on the faster route to your destination. This property is massive and overwhelming. Getting around is very difficult, especially at night.
They’ve built a beautiful property, but they have not figured out how to run it properly. They spent all their energy on making the complex big and making it look nice, but they lost sight of the customer experience.
