Vidova gora

Amazing spot!! Went there for sunset and left in total awe. The access is very easy through a pine forest and uphill there’s a small free parking, after which you have to walk a paved road for 5-10 minutes to reach the top. Amazing views of the Hvar and Vis islands, also of Zlanti Rat beach and, of course, Bol and the rest of southern Brac. Must see spot on the island.

Challenging hike but very fascinating. The trail was not identified on Google Maps and we had trouble finding the path in the beginning, luckily there were marks for hikers everywhere (see the red and white circle in the picture). The hiking trail starts from road UI. Gornje Podbarje where there is a hiking plate. We followed the marks and it took c. 3.5 hours to go up and c. 2 hours to go down. There were loose gravels everywhere on the path and it can get tricky especially on the way down. The view from the top was amazing and there is a table and a bench for picnic. There is also a small shop for refreshment. The mountain peak is also accessable by car/bike. For hikers, bringing plenty of water and food is recommended. Overall, it's worth a visit.

It's the tallest mountain in the isle of braç, and the view is amazing. You can clearly see the Zlatni rat beach from up there and also the very cool formation of the island in front (Hvar island if i'?m not mistaken) which I thought looked like a hand reaching out. 10/10, definitely would recommend

We drove to the top. I can't imagine hiking it in the heat. The views were amazing. There was a small cafe at the top but the views were stunning. I would be careful at the top around the cliff edges. Most of the island has a lot of rock but this drive gives you some interesting forest time as well on the way up!

Fantastique and challanging walking. The road is well signed, full of stones but good for walking. For us with a 8 year old boy took 3 hours to walk up. The view is beautiful. At the top there is a small bar with icecream, coffee and souvenires. To go up and down it was about 10 kms. Challanging but beautiful.

Vidova Gora is an absolutely amazing place. The view from the top is simply stunning – especially if you come just before sunset. As someone from this region, I really recommend visiting during that time because the light and atmosphere are truly magical. Just a small tip: bring something warmer to wear, as it can get chilly up there even in summer. The road that takes you through the forest to the top is also really beautiful and adds to the experience. The only downside is an abandoned building near the viewpoint – it looks a bit neglected and spooky. Hopefully, it gets renovated in the future to match the beauty of the rest of the place.

Great place to walk or cycle up, wonderful panorama view

Easy walk from the parking area on a wide paved road. The view from the top is incredible! Lots of nice places to sit and enjoy the high vantage point over several islands and beyond. There is a cross and small 13th century church ruin to see as well. Very glad we made the trip! Toilets available near parking and a well-stocked kiosk for snacks, ice creams and drinks.
