Vieja Cuba

Not sure about location yet since we just arrived but the service has been wonderful. Attentive, kind, helpful, thoughtful. The room and space is very clean! The mattress is firm and soft, incredibly comfortable! They offer two pillow options also which is nice! It’s a charming property that is comfortable and very clean. The property is so charming. They offer a nutritious and healthy complimentary breakfast which is great!

We found the hotel Vieja Cuba to be a charming hotel that was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The morning breakfast was excellent and the coffee was always available. They also offered a convenient laundry service which we took advantage of and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was that we were on the 3rd floor with no elevator.

Hot water was sometimes challenging but I think it is common in Ecuador. Price is appropriate. Staff is very friendly. I felt safe while at the hotel.

Amazing experience! The hotel was beautiful, clean, in a great location, and had incredible service. They even held our bags for securely for several days while we traveled and were incredibly helpful with every request. Shout out to Nicole, she was so sweet!

Excellent position, friendly service. They kept our luggage while we were at Galapagos, helped us with the Laundry, anticipated breakfast as we had to leave early for a hike. Very friendly overall. Position is great as well.

We stayed here twice during our 2 week visit, at the beginning and right at the end.|This is a quaint hotel, located close to restaurants, shops, grocery stores and pharmacies. It is a short taxi ride from major attractions.|The rooms are small and the stairs are narrow, so help with our luggage was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the extra single bed was useful for spreading out. We were in Room 8 each time, and we had to remember the step up into the bathroom. The area was reasonably quiet at night and we left the windows open. No bugs.|Breakfast was good and filling. There was no substitute for the eggs that I do not eat, but there was plenty of other food. Coffee was blah, but the juices were excellent. There were lounges on each floor and a book exchange, where we left a few.|Front desk personnel were very helpful, giving us good advice. A nice stay.

Excellent hotel. Service and breakfast was top-notch. Felt secure and safe. Rooms were solid and uniquely constructed. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff and cute hotel. We traveled in February and it was cold and rainy every day. The hotel room was very cold, and without a bathroom fan it remained moist the whole time. Exceptional WiFi everywhere. For the price, very reasonable stay, but don’t expect a luxurious experience.
