This review is not related to the food, but rather the service. A waiter reccomended here for great meats, so we arrived by bus from Cafayate at 3PM. Grabbed a taxi and reached the resturant at 3:30PM. Resturant is supposed to close at 4pm. As we walked in, suitcases in hand, we were greeted by a plesant young lady, who promptly turned to a guy behind the counter, he shook his head and she advised the kitchen was closed. We explained that we are literally just off the bus and will be leaving Salta at 9pm, and rushed here to taste their food. No go, the guy said no and that was it. The plesant young lady was nice enough to call a taxi for us. To her, we are grareful. To the guy behind the counter, I don't think you are an Argentine, for our entire 3 week trip, we experienced a loving, friendly and welcoming people, from bus drivers, taxi drivers, bus boys, hotel staff, Airbnb hosts even displaced people were welcoming in their own non intrusive way... almost everyone in Argentina, except him. Opening hrs are opening hrs, change it, if you have no intention of entertaining guest 30 minutes before you close.
