Vienna House zur Bleiche Schaffhausen

I stayed two nights in a Deluxe Double room and was very satisfied. The hotel is immediately adjacent to one of the entrances to the train station platforms, where there is a grocery store. Walking through the station leads you directly into the old town. The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked properly, including the mini fridge and in-rooom safe. The water flow in the shower was wonderful. This hotel is a great place to stay while visiting Schaffhausen.

Great Family Stay! We had a wonderful family stay at the Vienna House in Schaffhausen. The rooms were beautiful, large, and very spacious, equipped with a coffee machine and kettle. The staff was exceptionally cordial, helpful, and welcoming—a real highlight of our stay. The location is perfect, right next to the train station. We enjoyed a good dinner and an excellent, rich breakfast buffet with a huge selection. A top tip: ask reception for the daily travel ticket to easily take the train to the Rheinfall—a much better option than driving! Parking is easy in the adjacent public garage with direct hotel access. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back soon 🤗😃

Vienna House is the ideal hotel for anyone exploring Switzerland, especially the beautiful town of Schaffhausen. It’s incredibly convenient — just a short and scenic train ride from Zürich Airport (Zürich Flughafen) to Schaffhausen Station, and less than a 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel.||The location couldn’t be better! The hotel is surrounded by shops, perfect if you’d like to grab some local wine and cheese to enjoy in your room. The Old Town of Schaffhausen, with its enchanting medieval streets and cozy restaurants, is just a short walk away.||The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always ready with great suggestions on places to visit. Rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is excellent — a great way to start your day before heading out to explore.||Another thoughtful touch: the hotel is happy to store your luggage if you’re planning day trips around Switzerland.||Don’t miss going up to the Munot Fortress — the view over Schaffhausen and the Rhine is truly breathtaking and worth the climb.||Overall, Vienna House combines convenience, comfort, and great hospitality — a perfect home away from home for your Swiss adventure. 🇨🇭✨

Clean, friendly staff and breakfast was above average. Booked a large suite because we're a family of four and wanted the extra space. The downside was that the large bed in the main room (for parents or a couple) was a pull-out sofa bed with a horrible mattress. We couldn't sleep for several nights in a row and woke up in a bad mood. Not the way to spend a vacation. I feel that for 350 a night a real bed could have been provided. If it weren't for that would have given it 4-5 stars.

Perfect stop for one night to see the Rhine falls. Easy walk from train station and atrain to the falls. Very limited options for food at this hotel yet plenty of options nearby. The staff is very helpful with options for food and tourist spots. The IWC museum and walking tour were great.

Nice little modern hotel, very conveniently located. Train station is a short walk , as well as Old Town. Plenty of restaurant choices close by. Comfortable bed - the only negative was that there were Wi-Fi is pretty poor. There's a parking lot to walk away which is about half the price of the hotels parking lot.

Overall very satisfied with this hotel. I could easily recommend it for both business and personal travel. Located right next to the main train station, walking distance from the city centre. The room is well insulated from the outside noise, so you won't hear the trains. Layout of the room is perfect. Nice modern bathroom. There is a comfy bench next to the window to enable relaxing next to the window while looking out. Bed was comfortable for my sleep. Breakfast was included in my rate and was very good. You can request an omlet for no extra charge. There is no fitness room at the hotel, but I recommend going for a run or walk along the Rhine river. There is a public garage under the hotel for extra charge. WiFi worked without any issues.

Nice and comfortable room, very clean and I kinda like it. Breakfast was very good, the location was close to the old city, just few minutes.
