The hotel is surrounded by shops, perfect if you’d like to grab some local wine and cheese to enjoy in your room. The Old Town of Schaffhausen, with its enchanting medieval streets and cozy restaurants, is just a short walk away.||The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always ready with great suggestions on places to visit. Parking lot under the hotel at a cost. Parked at -2 level, got a direct entrance to the lobby and rooms. The room was clean and well fitted with an eco space design. Quiet for a good night's sleep. However, it was at least an hours' walk to the Rhine Fall. Do not expect to see it from the room. Breakfast was nice. Staff were courteous and friendly.

Clean, friendly staff and breakfast was above average. Booked a large suite because we're a family of four and wanted the extra space. The downside was that the large bed in the main room (for parents or a couple) was a pull-out sofa bed with a horrible mattress. We couldn't sleep for several nights in a row and woke up in a bad mood. Not the way to spend a vacation. I feel that for 350 a night a real bed could have been provided. If it weren't for that would have given it 4-5 stars.

Perfect stop for one night to see the Rhine falls. Easy walk from train station and atrain to the falls. Very limited options for food at this hotel yet plenty of options nearby. The staff is very helpful with options for food and tourist spots. The IWC museum and walking tour were great.

We booked this hotel for one night while visiting the region, attracted by its position and the positive reviews. We unfortunately experienced very bad service, and sub-optimal facilities and confort of the room. Just after checking in, as the only customers at the reception on a calm afternoon, we found that the safe in our room didn’t work and called for assistance. As the problem could not be fixed, the staff suggested we change room but left us waiting for 30 min. When we called to check what was going on, the manager told us they were busy and we should wait. Upon insistence, she took us to another room, where we had the same problem. Instead of acknowledging the problem and trying to solve it, she had a very impolite and nervous attitude, asked us again ‘if we really need as safe’, and insisted that they were too busy and we could anyhow leave our things in the room because in any case all hotel staff had access to the safe. With no prospect for a solution, we decided to proceed with our tour. In addition, the TV worked intermittently, which we did not bother to signal at that point. The location of the hotel is very convenient. The room layout is not very rational and may not work for all visitors. The sink is in the room, not in the bathroom. The shower is separated from the room by a glass wall, which offers little privacy if you are sharing the room. There are other nice options in Schaffhausen, which we will consider next time.

Overall very satisfied with this hotel. I could easily recommend it for both business and personal travel. Located right next to the main train station, walking distance from the city centre. The room is well insulated from the outside noise, so you won't hear the trains. Layout of the room is perfect. Nice modern bathroom. There is a comfy bench next to the window to enable relaxing next to the window while looking out. Bed was comfortable for my sleep. Breakfast was included in my rate and was very good. You can request an omlet for no extra charge. There is no fitness room at the hotel, but I recommend going for a run or walk along the Rhine river. There is a public garage under the hotel for extra charge. WiFi worked without any issues.

Nice little modern hotel, very conveniently located. Train station is a short walk , as well as Old Town. Plenty of restaurant choices close by. Comfortable bed - the only negative was that there were Wi-Fi is pretty poor. There's a parking lot to walk away which is about half the price of the hotels parking lot.

First time in Schaffhausen, and this hotel is so cozy and comfy. The room is the perfect size for a business traveller and hotel location is handy, right next to the train station and old town. Friendly service at the hotel restaurant and breakfast buffet is rich and has options for every taste.
