Vientiane Garden Boutique Hotel

Highly recommended! Perfect location, very convenient and safe. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with balconies and the grounds are full of trees and plants. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and were able to help me with money, booking train tickets, transfers, etc. Just a few mins walk from the river, night market, lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well as temples and other things to see.

The location is very good and the staff is friendly. The garden with a swimming pool looks good but really needs a face lift. Any shower for the swimming pool doesn't exist. But the worst thing is that they bring many motorbikes inside the lobby overnight. In the same room is the breakfast. Motorbikes inside the lobby and breakfast room is an absolute not going.

The hotel management gave us a very big room to stay in considering we only booked for a standard 2 single bed- room. All the staff were very welcoming and accomodating, special mention to Mr. Patrick who was so jolly and helpful. He never forget to smile or say hi and how are you to all the guests even if he's busy specially during the peak hours of breakfast. The buffet served was great! The hotel was surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Night market was just a 10 minute-walk. When we came back to Vientiane from Luang Prabang, we booked this hotel again for another night before going back to Bangkok. It's worth coming back to this hotel.

We were put in an old, tired room decorated in the 1970's (maybe older). A lot of unfinished maintenance, old clashing decor styles. The in room safe isn't attached to anything, lol. Inner courtyard is filthy. Lots of smokers, and the seating area with table outside our room, had an overflowing ashtray and dirty table that wasn't cleaned the whole time. We are non-smokers. The pool is ok, and the bed was comfy, buffet breakfast was ok.

Nice to have a clean swimming pool. Staff is very friendly, helpful and speaks a good English.

It is quite run down. The rooms are large but the beds aren't too hard by Lao standards. Air- conditioners are underpowered and may take an hour to really be effective. The owners fault not the staff who are pretty decent . Make sure you keep your receipts for money paid to them. When they ask for more money than your booking agency stated tell them you need sit down to email the agency. It will work out. And check out half an hour before you have to leave so you have time to smile through any mischief. I booked a night , stayed a week and left friends with the staff. FYI the place not a brothel or a gangster hide-out.

Older hotel but very well located in the centre of Vientiane. Quite area of a night. It's a small but nice pool, well loved by the travellers. The service staff are very helpful and accommodating. I was put on the 4th floor, in a small, comfy room, but a little small for me and my partner. No cable TV as advertised, so I requested a larger room with TV. The staff were very helpful and got that sorted. The room was old but comfortable, but on the last two days, we had issues with power outages and no TV reception. There is a great court yard, which is very well used by the guests, as it is normally peaceful and a relaxing area. It also forms part of the restaurant located on site, run by a great Vietnamese Chef. The food is vary well priced, and very good portions. The breakfast is normal hotel style food, not part of the restaurant. All the staff both morning and restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful.

I dont get this rating this is a really good hotel, nice staff and big rooms and the beds are really good, shower aswell!
