Vietnam Backpacker Hostels - Hue Hostel & Sports Bar

Staff is very nice and always helpful. We book a tour and the bus for our next destination. We also had a laundry with them. The rooms are a little small but it was okay. Don’t go there if you can’t sleep with loud noise as there is a big club next to the hostel and it will resonate in the rooms until 4am. The location is very great you can do everything by foot. And they have free beers at night and also many happy hours. It is a great way to meet new people. For the free breakfast there is only 2 options but it is enough.

Had no expectations going into our stay in Hue. The staff here were so welcoming and made sure we had the right info to have the best time ever. Great social atmosphere - free beer hour and happy hour. Nathan and Eddie organized a fun beach day and always had activities for the guest to do. We also do the Hai Van Pass with the hostel and it was well planned out. Beautiful views and experience. Definitely recommend.

Amazing staff, this group running this place seriously are logistical gurus….super friendly and patient and will help you get basically anywhere north or south on bike bus or train. You can even get your bags “shipped” to your next destination while you ride easy on a scooter or bigger motorcycle along one of many of the spectacular routes in the zone ! Great vibe at Vietnam Back packers Hostel in Hue, Vietnam. A bit of action and community for the solo or group travelers but quiets down not too late. Cold a$$ beer and some real gems running the place. Cheers

Staff was rather polite and responsive, lovely snow lemonade 🍋. Place is open air, can be a bit too warm. However, as we stayed for the F1 the other day with a group of 5, but for some reason, they couldn't make room for everyone with the only option being the TV above their bar counter. It's ridiculous cause other TVs in the house had no one occupied. A bit more spontaneity would be appreciated!

Good hostel for partying, but not if you've just had a long bus ride (lots of noise from clubs all night 😅). BTW they give free beer if you show 5 stars, and a free beer at 5-6. Staff is OK, not very friendly or too helpful but it's OK. Oh, and don't rely on wifi, it's non-existant except for the bar area.

Avoid this place if you don't want to get scammed or turned away last minute. Unprofessional and awful management. They coolly turned us away at the time of check in, when it was late in the evening and we were scrambling for options . They chose the worst night to cancel bookings for a lot of people.

Great hostel in a good location. Staff were the friendliest and most welcoming I have experienced in Vietnam with a real effort made to include guests in activities throughout the day and evening. Facilities and rooms are top quality

Good location, some of the staff is not friendly and doesn’t speak English really well, so it was hard to communicate. The AC doesn’t work during the day but just at night which it makes impossible to be in the room during day time. I was unlucky because other guests came back drunk and were really noisy and disrespectful. The shower is tiny so you can’t really even bring clothes inside or they will get wet. Beds are comfortable and each bed has a charger and a locker which is nice. Good place for partying I guess.
