Vietnam Cuisine Restaurant

Google
“Cơm Tấm” dishes were average size. They use whole rice instead of the traditional broken rice. “Bun thịt nướng” dish was gigantic with lots of noodle, vegetables, grilled pork and egg rolls. Each dish was about $15. They make good Vietnamese ice coffee so make sure to try it. Service was excellent. The young lady that served was attentive, refilled our water. This restaurant is very small, about 10 tables. Looks like it’s been in business for awhile visible by old decorations

We had the honor of trying a little bit of everything at Vietnam Cuisine-Quán Nhỏ’s new cơm chỉ — and let me tell you, it brought me straight back to home-cooked meals. For just $16, you can pick two dishes (like caramelized fish, fried fish, chicken, etc) plus soup. This isn’t your usual phở or bánh mì — it’s the kind of food our parents made at home. It’s available on Wednesday and Thursday; new items are rotated in weekly. If you’re craving real Vietnamese comfort food, this is it!

Tasty banh mi and absolutely fantastic pho in a casual and cozy setting! The service isn't very fast, but it's worth the wait, especially for the pho! The noodles are just too good! I'll definitely be coming back again sometime.

Google
Very casual place for Vietnamese food, but they have some unique dishes that you don't find in many other restaurants. We loved everything we tried. Prices are very reasonable, service was friendly. We didn't wait long for food. I'd definitely come back. Parking is a little tricky. You park in the back and walk through a little strip mall with other Vietnamese restaurants, and then turn right. It's a very small restaurant.

We came here one afternoon for a nice lunch. We didn't know where to go at first, but we knew we wanted to be in the Mills 50 area, so we broke out the trust dusty list and browsed until we found this place! Ambiance was very simple. It was a dining room with no more than 10 tables. Mirrors everywhere, one small window, and some nice ambient music being played. Service was great, too. A nice fella who helped me pick something good. I always want to try something different that Americans probably don't get too often, but servers are always hesitant and push me to more familiar things. What can you do? We started off with the Cha Gio (deep fried spring rolls (2) with fish sauce). Very crispy, not very oily, and the fillings within were very fresh while still being warm and well seasoned. I was a fan. Then came the Goi Cuon Tom Thit (Summer rolls (2) shrimp, pork, lettuce, rice vermicelli, and peanut sauce). There were very good! Summer rolls are my favorite. There wasn't a lot of meat filling in these, so just be wary, but I could dip anything in that delicious peanut sauce and be happy. For our mains, we ordered the classic Banh Mi Thit Nuong (With grilled pork). I wanted something off the wall a little, but how do you say no to this wonderful sandwich? Soft, strong, perfect bread holding all that meat, all that veg, lovely bites. Great banh mi. One of my favorites in town. I can't remember exactly what my last dish was, but I think it was the Mi Xao Hai San (Egg noodle stir fried with seafood and vegetables). Loved this. Delicious rice noodles, huge chunks of well cooked veg, little shrimps everywhere. Overall, this place gave me exactly what I needed. Cheap, easy, simple, delicious Vietnamese food. I will be back, repeatedly.

Excellent food! I had 2 dishes - Bo Tai Chanh (Vietnamese beef carpaccio) and Goi Vit (duck salad). Both dishes were extremely tasty and well portioned. Lots of protein! I requested no raw onions in both of my dishes. Will be coming back the next time I am in Orlando :) The servers were kind. The restaurant is a little tight but not too much of a problem.

We had eaten many Vietnamese food before. The Pho here is on top of the list. We ordered the spicy beef, the seafood, and the traditional. The soup in the traditional (#28 on the menu) was just like what I had in Vietnam a few years back, with a lot of flavors. The wrap appetizer was not our favorite but we like to try new stuff. We plan to be back and have the Pho again. BTW, the Philippines ice cream shop across the street is awesome too.

Delicious!! Bánh cuốn was fresh. Canh bún full of toppings and the blood cubes were perfect. Bún chả was generous portion and tasty

Yelp
SOLID VIETNAMESE CUISINE | e colonial has quite a few options for Vietnamese food but Vietnam Cuisine has some of the best variety. I've been a couple times now and it is definitely a good choice when you aren't craving specifically pho or bun bo hue. Inside is small but with limited seating but just enough during peak meal times. Most tables are for groups of 2-4 so not recommended for large groups. Turnaround seems pretty quick. The service is friendlier than most I've seen at Vietnamese restaurants. Love the bun rieu here! Pair it with an iced ca phe sua da for that well-rounded meal. And of course, you have to order the pho here at least once. You can't go wrong if you choose Vietnamese Cuisine for your next meal out!

Yelp
Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Vietnam Cuisine is located in Mills50 and parking was available on the street. The exterior of the restaurant looks decrepit and the interior is starting to fall apart and features half a dozen or so tables. There is even a derelict hanging out on the street by the front entrance for true Vietnam vibes. Started off with the fried egg rolls with crab and they were tasty. The crab that they put inside the egg roll is imitation. Moved on to the Iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and it was strong and tasty, The bun bo hue was quite flavorful and had plenty of meats, including a giant pig trotter. The broth was great and the bowl also included a couple pieces of pork blood along with some veggies. ~$30/head after tax and gratuity for lunch

Yelp
Small spot in the lil Vietnam town in Mills50. Broth tasted so clean and delicious without tasting like msg. Most of the cleaned veggies were fresh, some had black spots on it. Lots of greens in the pho already. Liked the add of cilantro and green onions in the pho with on the side Thai basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos, lemons and culantro. They only have lemon and not lime. Noodles tasted fresh too Had the pho with tendon, brisket, oxtail. Oxtail tasted old though. Modified it and omitted beef balls and tripe. Took order fast and came out in decent time. I appreciated all the condiments full and ready to go on the side - chili garlic sauce, siracha, hoisin, fish sauce, black pepper and soy sauce. Didn't walk out smelling like pho which was refreshing

Yelp
Saw this spot had a 4.5 on yelp and KNEW I had to check it out. I know this one neighborhood of Orlando is blessed by good Vietnamese food, but this one was phenomenal. I'm excited to try out other spots now to see if it can beat this. The pickled vegetables, the depth of the flavors, the delicious sauce. They had it rocking, friendly people inside and just a cool old school interior. 10/10 spot I think I'm going back.

Yelp
Some of the best flavorful food ever. We have been coming to this place for years. Whenever we are in Orlando this place is a must visit because EVERYTHING is fresh and flavorful. Their Pho is second to none but this trip we did not order it because it was sooooo hot. We did order the Green Papaya Salad which was packed with flavor. Citrus and umami and cool and crisp. Delicious. We then shared a Grilled Pork Bahn Mi and it exploded with flavor. the pork was tender and seasoned and grilled to perfection, the bun was soft and the veggies added a cool crunch. It was so good we the ordered the Grilled Beef Bahn Mi and really they both were terrific but we agreed the pork was a little tastier. The inside is very plain and no frills. This is not a place for ambiance, it is a place for REALLY great food. So, if you find yourself in Orlando go here for some spectacular food. A+++

Yelp
Pros: The place is an unsuspecting hole in the wall kind of place, which is always a great sign. The staff was super friendly and helped us pick out some really good food. The food was bananas delicious. Good quality, good quantity, good portion sizes. Cons: No cons whatsoever. A really nice place. Tips: Yes, their bahn mi was delicious, but get something else other than one. Branch out, experiment, there is so much more to try in Vietnamese Cuisine.

Yelp
I'm amazed I've never reviewed this place before. I've been coming to Vietnam Cuisine for years, and it's my favorite Vietnamese spot in Orlando by MILES. They're very vegan friendly and the vegan options keep getting better! The veggie pho is the best in Orlando these days and they're happy to make veggie spring rolls, as well. The service is fantastic and it's a nice, tiny, homey restaurant that feels authentic. My meat eating friends also swear by this spot.

Yelp
One of my preferred places for pho in the mills area! The broth is hot and flavorful and the noodles are cooked perfectly. The appetizer with rice paper, papaya and mushrooms is pretty good. Service is quick and efficient, prices are fair. Just 8 tables or so in the restaurant so it's pretty quaint. Solid place for a nice bowl of pho!
google avatar

Yelp
Solid four stars. Everything was okay. I thought the sandwich could have been stuffed with more vegetables and meat, the pho was a little bit watered down, and even the fish sauce that you did the eggrolls in was a little bit mild. I think a good fish sauce should pack a punch. I also wished the service was a little bit more attentive, refilling our waters even once. Everybody there was super nice, which is why we would look upon this experience fondly. But the food I thought was only OK.

Yelp
On colonial this spot can so easily be overlooked. But once you walk in it feels like you been transported back in time. Nothing is really special about the interior, just small and cramped. But this place is really about the food. Since they don't specialize in anything particular, they have a full selection of Vietnamese classics. Anything from banh cuon to pho and everything in between. If it's your first time eating Vietnamese food this is the spot to go!

Yelp
This authentic Vietnamese has pho, rice and many others, but this week, I tried 2 dishes, the Duck Salad, and the Fried Tofu and Fermented Shrimp Paste. The Duck Salad here is served differently from other Vietnamese, boneless and well tossed. I liked it. The other dish can be too authentic for some, but I also liked it.

Yelp
So frustrating! Twice I ordered takeout--once it was bún chả without fish sauce, which I let slide. But today I bought bún đậu and they didn't include shrimp paste. I live 40 minutes away from downtown so I couldn't go back to get it. At that time I was the only one ordering, so it's not like the restaurant was busy and made a mistake. They are just too careless. After that I called the restaurant to complain, and they said next time they would give me extra shrimp paste... This is unacceptable.

Yelp
I've been going here regularly I think over a year, and it's always quality. The service is good and the food is top notch. It's certainly my go to spot and never disappoints.

Thao L.

Yelp
Food is okay but the food service for To Go is so terrible. We buy from restaurant meaning it should be warm enough for clients to take out. How can we eat food when we travel or where we can't use microwave??? Noodle is so hard, soup is so cold (out from the fridge). Never got this bad experience from any restaurants before
google avatar

Yelp
I didn't try the Pho but my partner did. She indicated it was not flavorful. Very tiny scallops and calamari in the bowl with veggie broth and noodles. My dish with grilled chicken and rice noodles was very flavorful. The sauce was tasty Our server was very nice and the service was fine. Prices were fair and no upcharge for using a credit card.

Yelp
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant on Mills/50! Best banh mi on this side of i4! Prices and portion sizes are very reasonable

Yelp
Omg this food was amazing! I tried the short rib combo with pickled cabbage and cucumbers along with a vinegar sauce. I stuffed myself because I just couldn't get over all of the delicious flavors. The beef was so juicy and tender. This is truly a hideous gem and you will not be disappointed. For authentic Vietnamese cuisine his place is a must try.

Yelp
Very last minute decided to have lunch there by NYE self! It was not crazy busy! It is as a small restaurant but plenty of seats and clean! So the server greeted me and I was being seated! Then he brought out the menu and a water for me! I ordered Pho Tai Nam Sach Bo Vien (PHO with eye round steak, flank, tripe, and meatball)! Then the server brought out the basil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, lime and etc for my pho! About 5 min later my pho is out and it smelled delicious and it tasted yummy! So so good! Then the place started to get busy and I was just finished so I went up to pay and left!

Yelp
Great food at a reasonable price. The rice dishes come loaded with meat and the pho is flavorful. Small tables which seat between 2 to 4 people so don't expect to sit together if you're a large party. The servers are nice and friendly and always come by to check on the tables. Cute little place in Viet Town.
google avatar

Surina L.

Yelp
The only place in the area I know of that makes fresh banh cuon. The banh mi's taste just like I expect, good portions, and very filling. We have also had their grilled pork banh mi's and they are great! This place is a dive so don't expect a certain aesthetic. The service is always friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
My family of 4 had a day to spend in Orlando after our cruise before returning to CA. We were craving Vietnamese food after a week long of buffet and American food. It's a small restaurant that can be easily missed if you drive fast. There's street parking right in front as well as parking behind the restaurant with an emtrance to enter from back. The restaurant is a small hole in the wall 7 tables for a party of 4 or 2 tables for a party of 2. We were seated immediately and provided menus to look at.We ordered the following, and food came out within about 10 minutes 1. Pho Dac Biet (special Pho): The pho had plenty of meat, but the broth was a little too sweet for our taste. My husband added lemon to fix the flavor to his liking. 2. Mi xao hai sang (stir fried egg noodles with seafood): It's pretty decent, with lots of ingredients, but again, the sauce is a little sweet. 3. Com suong bo dai han (rice with korean ribs) with side of sunny side up egg: The ribs look sad as it did not have a lot of meat on it. It was a little chewey and dry lacking flavor but were edible for my 10yo son as he was hungry and craving it. The sunny side up was overcooked. Service is prompt, and staff is friendly.

Yelp
I stopped by the restaurant for a late lunch/early dinner on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. At the time I arrived I was the only patron at the restaurant. The interior of the dining area is narrow and a bit constricting but, the food certainly makes-up for any negative aspects you may think about the ambiance of the establishment. I ordered their rice platter which consisted of a large grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, pork egg meatloaf and a fried egg. The presentation of the meal was not only beautiful in appearance but also the taste was outstanding. This meal certainly hit the spot for a late afternoon pick-me-up. The service was prompt and efficient but not overly friendly. Besides providing me my meal order and the check, the male server did not inquire how my meal was or refill my water glass. Service on this occasion was not the best however, the great meal compensated for the server's oversight.
google avatar

Deanna L.

Yelp
I got summer rolls and pho here. The customer service was good. I came by myself so I sat they sat me at the 2-seat tables in the back at the side of the kitchen. The food was delicious. The pho broth was very flavorful and not too salty. The meat was perfectly cooked and fresh. It was an overall great meal that I can see myself having again soon, especially in the winter months.
google avatar

Ruth V.

Yelp
Hope in the wall! Giving it five stars because it's one of the few locations in Orlando that has the pennywort drink (Nuoc rau ma). It was good! Would love to try their food next time!
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
A small hole-in-the-wall spot with big Vietnamese flavors! The charbroiled pork was delicious, and their nuoc mam (fish sauce) is top-notch. The herb salad was fresh and paired perfectly with the bun cha ha noi. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Vietnamese cuisine!
google avatar

Diana L.

Yelp
One of my favorite Vietnamese spots, - Pho taste really good here lately really good portions of meat and noodle - anything with noodles dry/or soup

Yelp
One of the best places to get a decent bowl of Pho in the area that always seem consistent. I've been here plenty of times and always enjoy coming back even though it's small inside. Limited amount of seating at this restaurant so get there early. Decent service and the food is always consistent. I usually just get pho tai, which feels me up. The broth is good and isn't too oily. I do enjoy their crepe filled mushrooms appetizer with fish sauce. Their shrimp and grilled pork summer rolls are okay.
google avatar

Andy L.

Yelp
Good Vietnamese food near downtown Orlando. Restaurant is located on a busy street (parking available in back). Restaurant is small and tables are close together. Food was flavorful, my Bún thịt nướng chả giò was tasty however the meat was a bit fatty for my liking. Service was quick and efficient.
google avatar

Yi Min L.

Yelp
I think this is the best Vietnamese cuisine around this area. All dishes are served fresh. The pho broth was not too sweet like how other places prepare. The pho here is always my to-go choice. The price is affordable and staffs are friendly .

Yelp
Pho ga was really yummy. Highly recommend xoi ga and mien ga as well. why do i need a long review???

Yelp
I've been on a Vietnamese food kick lately and I think this spot has topped the list for me! Got the bun rau dau hu, basically a rice vermicelli bowl with sautéed tofu and veggies with a choice of either soy sauce or imitation fish sauce. I chose the soy sauce and honestly this was one of the most flavorful vermicelli bowls I've ever had! The veggies and tofu were nicely seared and seasoned, and the soy sauce on the side was incredible. It wasn't overly pungent and salty like average soy sauce, it had more of a savory brothy flavor and I couldn't get enough of it. Next time I'll ask for two! To top it off, the portion was massive! The spring rolls were crispy and very flavorful, and the summer rolls were good, nothing out of the ordinary. Absolutely will be ordering from here from now on when the Vietnamese food craving hits!
google avatar

Lisa P.

Yelp
Thoroughly impressed by the food. Came in on a whim, was immediately attended to, and food was prepared fairly quickly. The service was great. Hole-in-the-wall ambiance with veg. options. Will be going returning and recommending!

Yelp
Food 10/10 - Vietnam Cuisine is one of my favorite vietnamese restaurants in Orlando. They are also one of the only vietnamese restaurants in Orlando (that I know of) that serves banh cuon (vietnamese steamed rice crepe) and bun cha ha noi, which is soo good. I have been going here for years, and the food consistently tastes delicious. I highly recommend! Atmosphere 7/10 - There isn't a ton of seating in this small restaurant, so it can get crowded at times. Also, if you enter through their back entrance, it seems a bit run down and dirty. But I still like the family-owned restaurant vibe. Service 5/10 - It always seems like the really good asian restaurants have some of the poorest service. They focus on making the food good, I guess... Our waiter spilled one of our drinks, and it went on my pants and purse, but he didn't seem to care. It was just water anyway, but eh, I think he should have apologized.
google avatar

Yelp
This Vietnamese restaurant in Orlando is a hidden treasure and my go to for my Vietnamese food cravings. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Service is quick and prompt. My go-to is the Bun Cha Hanoi, which is just rice vermicelli and chargrilled meat. It is absolutely the best thing on the menu. Everything is well seasoned and high quality. The menu boasts a variety of dishes that showcase the true essence of Vietnamese cuisine. This spot deserves a spot on your culinary map. A taste of Vietnam in the heart of Orlando!
google avatar

Yelp
What a nice hole in the wall restaurant! You do not want to miss this! It tasted like home cooking pho I eat at my mother in law's house. Portions were large and not too salty. You will leave here full and happy. The service is A+ and servers were always available if you needed anything. I enjoyed my pho with eye round and tender flank. My husband had the pork vermicelli bowl. I forgot to take a picture of the beef banh mi before I devoured it. The bread was nice and flaky with sweet marinated beef at $5.50. Add this to your meal. Definitely better than dessert! Come try their other Vietnamese dishes. I'm sure they are just as good as the ones I had tonight.
google avatar

Danielle M.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken rice plate. It was pretty good but I wish it came with a sauce on it. I used some of the fish sauce from the table which gave it more flavor. My friend got pho and really enjoyed it. I tasted it and the broth was flavorful.
google avatar

Tammy H.

Yelp
Cơm tấm sườn bì chả trứng and bún chả Hà Nội here were very delicious! We love the flavor of the meat of both dishes that we can really tell it charcoal grilled! Not like other restaurants they just grilled the meat on the electric grill or they just fried the meat! My husband love love the broken rice! Not a lot of restaurants use broken rice for cơm sườn bì chả! We will definitely try some thing else on the menu whenever we go to Orlando. Also, the young lady who were answering the phone were very polite! I highly recommend this restaurant!
google avatar

Carrie M.

Yelp
Ordered takeout here and got bun bo hue and beef vermicelli. The service was fast and the food was super easy to assemble at home. Everything tasted great and I'd totally dine here in person next time! It's a cute hole in the wall restaurant and on a street with lots of other Asian restaurants/drink shops/etc.
google avatar

Wally Z.

Yelp
As authentic of a Vietnamese restaurant as you'll find in Orlando. It's in the heart of the Mills District, so mostly street parking but isn't normally to hard to find a spot. I came here looking for the best bun bo hue (BBH) (spicy beef noodle soup) in town as from what I've been told it's between this place and Anh Hong which is just down the street. The bun bo hue was hearty and rich, and the perfect amount of spice. You can order it to your liking, I got it without the typical coagulated blood and pork foot. Most importantly, the soup is piping hot; one of the most important aspects when ordering BBH. I will admit that I have been to Anh Hong and was disappointed with their version; this version easily supersedes it. If you're looking for the best BBH in Orlando in an authentic, no frills place, you've found your spot here. I'll be coming back here to try the pho which is also supposed to be good here.
google avatar

Janet L.

Yelp
This is the best Vietnamese food I have found in central Florida! I even love the mom and pop small atmosphere. I ordered vermicelli ban with pork, a standard for me. Everything was so fresh and the pork had so much flavor. Husband ordered bahn mi pork and said it was also very good. We will definitely go back! The food order came very fast from the time we placed the orders.
google avatar

Ahmed A.

Yelp
Doesn't look like much when you walk in, but it's a nice hidden spot in the Mills 50 area! The dining area is fairly small with only a few tables, however don't let that discourage you from their good food. We started off with a couple of summer rolls that came with peanut sauce. They were very fresh and light, and the peanut sauce also had a nice thick consistency. The banh mi was the star of the show for me! The bread was crisp and crunchy on the outside while soft and chewy on the inside. All the fillings include the meat, fresh veggies, and sauce were fantastic! I also had the Pho which was very authentic as well, and the meat wasn't too fatty either. Overall, I liked the spot and while there are numerous good pho spots in Orlando, I will be back for the banh mi's!
google avatar

Shayna G.

Yelp
I got the pho and the broth was very flavorful, big portions and very reasonable pricing. In terms of ambiance it's a dive so be aware, and tables only seat up to four so it probably isn't ideal for large parties. The servers were very friendly and nice!
google avatar

Nathan P.

Yelp
Small little place but the food is very authentic. I ordered Bánh cuôn and bún dâu . Bánh cuôn came hot with veggies and chã lua. It was quite tasty this Vietnemese rice crepe filled with mushroom and meat. Bún dâu was juts ok .
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant to go to. It's honestly a little head in gem that's tucked away in a busy street. I've got to say I've been going here for years and recently they renovated the inside which made it a little bit more modern I would say but still overall looks the same. Their pho broth is hands-down the best. Over the years they did change up their menu and lesson their portions. It used to be lots of noodles and beef and I would always end up being really stuffed. But now the there's a significant less amount of noodles. Still they are my go to pho place.

Yelp
This place is so good I never remember to take a picture before digging in! Probably the best bún chả I've had, and confirmed by my partner who is from Vietnam! Safe to say this place has great digs!
