Service was polite, but borderline slow. Still was well in the level of acceptable, especially since it was a busy Friday night. My girlfriend had a lamb dish with yellow curry and peanuts, and it was really good. I have eaten at numerous Vietnamese restaraunts, both nice, full menu restaraunts, to the tiny, specialty item "fast" food restaurants.
This place was small, but I would catagorize it as a nice restaraunt, but in a not so nice neighborhood, and it was my very first Vietnamese restaraunt in Chile. So, I had to try a stable dish of Vietnam first, so that had to be the Pho. which is the soup with noodles, been sprouts, and thinly sliced beef, in a star anice spice based broth. It was pretty good, and I enjoyed it well. For more authenticity, they even had hoisin sauce and saracha sauce as well. I am not sure if they knew you were supposed to have that with this dish or not, as I asked them specifically for it when ordering the Pho, but at least they had it. They also served it with the fresh bean sprouts and a wedge of lime. The only things missing was fresh sprigs of Basil, and some slices of jalapeno peppers. I will go back and try another classic dish like Bun.
