Google
Vietnamese here, and I gotta say it tasted just like home. The ingredients were fresh and seasoning was just enough. The taste is indeed authentic. The price is super decent given how well made the dishese are. Definitely will come back next time !!

Google
This is one of the best vietnamese restaurant here in Madrid. Their food were really authentic and the staff were nice and friendly to us. We are definitely going back!

I’m a traveler from Taiwan in Asia. If, you’re like me, you’ve searched for “pho” directly on Google Maps, just head straight to this place to eat,no need to visit nearby Asian Army or Bunny Chao, as this one better suits the taste of Asians. Attached is a photo of my girlfriend enjoying a meal here.

Google
Overall everything is just on point. Nice restaurant, enthusiastic staff and good food. As an Hanoian, I give 8/10 for the food (I ate Phở bò and Bún chả. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Asian food in town. —————— Nhân viên siêu cuteeeeee :))) ghé ủng hộ nha mấy ní 🥰🥰

Google
Food is seriously authentic — felt like I was back in Asia 😭💙🍃 Very generous servings! the fresh spring rolls and bum cha was so good!! The vegan curry lacks a bit of flavor, so we’ll go back to tru the chicken one! Overall so so good

Google
Very lively Vietnamese restaurant in Barrio de las Letras. The pho was so delicious and nourishing. The ingredients were fresh and the broth was excellent. The portion was generous as well for 9,50€. I will be back.

Google
Nice Vietnamese food in Madrid. The taste was quite good and authentic. Both service staff in the restaurant spoke Vietnamese. Service was fair though attention to customers could be improved. All in all, recommended!

When we arrived we were greeted by a waitress that was quite rude. She grunted and pointed to our table to take a seat. She then knew we were ready to order but decided to ignore us. We were going to walk out but stayed. I went up to counter and told them we were ready to order. Glad we stayed. Food was delicious! Pity about the rude spainsh waitress.

Yelp
I dined over a month ago and today I'm missing it bad. My meal was that good. Not to me mention, the table wear was so perfect. I need to know who makes them!

Yelp
We had the rolls and the Pho it was very delicious. We also had the pomegranate tea. Service was perfect and staff were friendly. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Day 2 into our Europe trip, my Vietnamese parents were already tired of Spanish food and were craving Vietnamese food. We found this spot online and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed it! My parents are not easy to please, but they were thoroughly satisfied. The service was fast, and the restaurant itself was very cute and cozy inside. If you're needing a Vietnamese fix while in Madrid, I would highly recommend it here!

Yelp
We ordered take-out for dinner; it was so good we returned two nights later and dined at the restaurant Over thirty years ago I had my first Vietnamese food while living in Hawaii and spending time with Vietnamese acquaintances. Ever since I have been searching unsuccessfully for that same elegant aromatic cuisine. Pleasantly surprised to have found it unexpectedly in Madrid. SERVICE: 5.0. When we ordered takeaway, she was very kind, confirming our order, and verifying it with us when we picked it up. When we dined at the restaurant service was prompt and considerate. FOOD: 5.0. - 5.0: Fresh vegetarian rolls: Lots of herbs and outstanding pickled vegetables with noodles, wrapped in rice paper. Outstanding. - 5.0: Deep-fried vegetarian rolls. Outstanding. - 5.0: Bún CHẢ. (Grilled Iberian pork with rice noodles, herbs, and fish sauce.) Outstanding. - 4.5: MỰC XÀO CẦN TỎI (Wok-fried squid with vegetables, accompanied with Jasmine rice). My significant other was very pleased with her order. - 4.5: PHỞ BÒ (beef soup/broth with rice noodles). - 4.5: THỊT VIÊN (pork gyoza). - 4.0: Dessert FINGER CON SABOR DE JAPON O NUESTRA TARTA DE QUESO. We shared one. Very good. AMBIANCE: 4.0. Comfortable. Plenty of excellent vegetarian options.

Yelp
If you need an Asian fix after many delicious pintxos in Madrid, this will be a very good option. The pho was great and authentic. The fried pork spring rolls were a bit dry and not quite up to par. The fried rice with ham was a good mix of east and west and a favorite all the time. The service was efficient and friendly even though we were ordering one of each items to try and share. Cost was reasonable too. Casual and simple decor. Can be a regular place when they improved the spring rolls.

Yelp
Haven't had vietnamese in quite some time, so while walking through Madrid, we were excited to see this. It had been raining all day, and pho definitely hits the spot on days like that. Their menu is small, offering the basic type of beef pho as well as starters and a few entrees. i was kind of shocked to see the prices of the fresh spring rolls. They were kind of pricey so we just stuck to ordering the pho. The portions were reasonable. The broth tasted fine and it helped us warm up. We weren't wowed with it but we weren't expecting much. I'm not sure if there are a lot of vietnamese places in madrid, but if you are craving pho, this might help a little. Side note: they do not carry hoisin sauce as we are used to having in the states. The staff was telling us that using hoisin sauce is an american thing. I never knew that.

Yelp
Me and my buddy stopped in for a quick bite before we catch our flight out. We order the egg roll for an appetizer. It looks better then it tasted, it wasn't terrible but it seems a bit soggy. I got the bun cha ha noi. For the most part it was good. The meat was seasoned well with lots of lemongrass but the bun was a bit dry. My buddy got the bo luc lax. It came with a bowl of rice, it was dry as well. The meat dish came out with lots of veggies on it, onions, red peppers, potatoes, green onions and peanuts. The meat was very tough. There was no wait for lunch service is a bit slow because there was only one girl working and the space is a bit small but then again we are in Europe so you can't really ask for much with it comes to space. All and all the food is good but a bit on the pricy side. It was an average of about 10€ per dish.

Yelp
Decent vietnamese restaurant, as you don't see many of them in Madrid. The summer rolls were fresh. The pho bo didn't taste like the typical traditional soup. But the beef broth appeared to be more natural and not filled with msg. I was disappointed they didn't have hoisin sauce or vietnamese coffee. Very perplexed!

Yelp
We ordered spring rolls, crispy rice cake with spread, pho, curry fish and stuffed chicken wings. The place was pricey but the food was pretty good. I don't normally see the fish dish offered at other places and the stuffed chicken wings. But the pho was just ok. Kind of bland and not much in it. No slivered onions. The garnishes were kind of light. The spring rolls were good. The crispy rice cakes were different. Overall, fine. But a little pricey for what waS offered.

Yelp
This place is ok - we came at 1 when they open and the place was still locked... minus a point for nit opening on time. Food: Pho broth was good, missing some key flavors (ie. fish sauce and star anise) but it will do for Spain. Eggrolls were not that great. The dipping sauce was WAY OFF! Crispy fried noodles were interesting as it may have contained coconut milk for the sauce.

Yelp
Came here because of the overwhelmingly good reviews on google but the flavors were just mediocre. It definitively hit the spot since we were missing home food. We're from california so we're blessed with plentiful and authentic Vietnamese food. The portions for the pho was way smaller and cost almost 1/3 more it should. Overall, it was alright I would try out a different spot next time

Yelp
Best Pho and ONLY Pho I will ever eat in my beloved Madrid! On Sunday's this was the spot for hangovers!! Lol in my 11 months living in Madrid I went here like 7-9 times and damn it was good! The lady that works there is super nice and no other restaurant owner is like her! She's friendly and very nice!! Leave her a tip even though people say do not leave tips in Spanish restaurants!! Let me explain how nice this place is, one day after hitting up "El Rastro" we came for some food and it was past 4:30pm on a Sunday!!!! What this means in Madrid, in most cases is that places start are closed down... well we get there with a group of 7, its about 4:46pm to be exact and it looked like the last table had just left... well as soon as the lady saw me and one of my buddies she remembered us and actually let our group in!!!! We had the restaurant to ourselves!!! Being that it was all fraternity brothers we talked as loud as we wanted about "everything" lol no one to look out for! hahahah At the end, of course the food was amazing (Pho, Egg roles and Curry Rice) and after stuffing our faces in the best Pho Madrid has to offer we went to Plaza de Espana across the street to walk it off! :) Love this place and Madrid!! Hope they're still open for business when I go back to Madrid Summer 2018!!

Yelp
Its looks and smells like Pho, but other than that there is nothing Vietnamese about it. Pros: one of the few Viet options around. If you are like me, traveling in Spain for quite a bit and looking for an asian fix this would probably do. Cons: tastes nothing like pho. Used dried noodles. Pricey, costing almost 10 euros for a pho!

Jacqueline N.

Yelp
This restaurant serve pretty good Vietnamese food here. Highly recommended if you live in Madrid or here for visit.

Yelp
Wish I can give this place 0 star. How can you serve Pho without Hoisin sauce? It's like having churro without chocolate in Madrid. Way over priced for something that taste like salty water without any authentic Vietnamese flavor. Save your reservation and money for elsewhere.
google avatar

Yelp
Best egg roll I ever tasted! Rest of the dishes are good. A bit pricy (compared to other options in Madrid)

Yelp
I'm Vietnamese from Texas (USA) and I'm use to eating pho at least once a week my whole life so I know my pho. I just ate here today. First off, the restaurant opens 9pm and reservations are REQUIRED. We came yesterday and the manager barely squeezed us in today. Very small place down an alley. Pretty dolled up Vietnamese place. Very short menu and very pricey. A pho bo bowl is 9.5 EU, you can get 2 huge bowls in Houston, tx for that price. It's decent for where we were (Spain) but overly salty. It has more of a hoison sauce flavor. Cafe sua da (Vietnamese coffee) is off the menu and you get a couple sips, not a large glass like we're use to. My hubby walked out still hungry, which doesn't happen when we're eating pho at home. Still, it will satisfy us till we get back home. Btw eggrolls are off the menu and fried rice is fried as cubes....strange.

Yelp
If you are looking for an Asian fix then This will do. Otherwise, this restaurant is good for intro to Viet food. Presentation and decor is great. Food lacks flavor and technique. Pho used dried noodles so the noodle has this weird smell to it and the texture of it is bad. Shaken beef used low quality shoulder meat and bell pepper over flavored the beef flavor. Bo luc lac tasted like peppered steak, but salty. I honestly thought some Mexican work in a Vietnamese restaurant in the states. Somehow end up in Spain and open a restaurant. In summary. The restaurant has good management but untrained chef.

Yelp
Worst pho I've ever had, didn't fix my craving. The bo luc lac was actually pretty good, though different than I'm used to. Left hungry as well, small portions.

Yelp
Had to get a fix, won't matter if it's good or not but place is half full and everybody is happy. Good enuff for me!! :)

Yelp
A nice change from tapas-- and from what I can tell, one of the few decent options for Vietnamese in Madrid. I was not expecting much since Madrids Asian food scene is not exactly thriving (and the reviews were mediocre), but this place has good service and the spring rolls were surprisingly tasty despite a lack of traditional Vietnamese veggie condiments like Vietnamese basil. The bun cha pork was great, though the rice noodles were not quite right but I attribute that, perhaps, to a lack of access to good rice noodles. I did not bother trying the Pho since I've been spoiled by amazing noodles in other parts of the world.. overall I'd give it a B. Not great, but certainly good by Madrid standards.

Yelp
I though maybe I had found a decent place for Vienamese food in Madrid, but I was wrong. This place is overpriced and the pho was bland. We ordered summer roles as an appetizer. The roles were small, each only had one small shrimp and a bit of pork. And they had CARROTs in them. WTF. Overall, the quality was OK, but the value was terrible. It was 9.50 for pho, and 10.50 for the tiny summer roles.. Also, for some reason, the place gets packed and you need to make a reservation... I give up on trying to find Vietnamese food in Spain. This restaurant was the third strike. If you have an Asian fix, go for one of the many great and inexpensive authentic Chinese places near Plaza España. It's not pho, but there is good, flavorful soup to be found!

Yelp
Our first time here. Possibly the last time as we leave for Houston tomorrow. Living in Houston, TX we are blessed with a large number of excellent Vietnamese restaurants. This restaurant is right there with the best. Fresh spring rolls with a spicy fish sauce for dipping, sea bass in curry sauce and traditional pho. Recommend this highly for lovers of Vietnamese food.
google avatar

Yelp
Have to say this place is cozy and good Authentic North Vietnamese food. I come from Cali and have plenty of Vietnamese food and this place makes excellent Bun Cha. The meat is very tender and well seasoning. Pho is a bit different but good as well. The staff is Vietnamese and very nice at giving us direction around. We feel very homey and have a good time eating our comfort Vietnamese dishes. Price a bit high but the quality speak for itself.

Adrienne L.

Yelp
Run by Vietnamese people but less than average fare. Pho lacked the proper beef slices, noodles were too soft, and soup base tasted like bullion cubes. They didn't have any hoisin sauce, only sriracha. They do have great Vietnamese coffee, ca phe da.
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Great food and service, but it gets busy so make a reservation. Especially liked the Bun Cha and the spring rolls.

Paul A.

Yelp
I travel a lot around the world so I know what actual pho tastes like. This is, by far, the worst pho i've ever tasted. Don't get tricked by all the deceiving reviews. The portion is very small and the it is just tasteless.. The noodle looks like it is from an instant noodle you can find in any asian market. Don't come here if you are looking for authentic pho.

Grace T.

Yelp
Doesnt taste anything like Vietnamese food. We ordered pho, mi xao, and com bo luc lac. All tasted poorly.

Sam C.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. Pho broth was fabulous, the beef juicy and tender, noodles were kinda sparse and a tiny bit softer than ideal, but still a great bowl of pho. If you're used to the gigantic bowls that many Vietnamese places serve, this one will be about half the size but still a nice serving ...and even better if you want another dish or app for variety.
