Vietnamese Noodle House Drumheller

Service was terrible. We asked for extra spice because we wanted it spicy and still didn’t get it, our orders were mixed up, we had to ask about 2/3 times to bring our drinks and the drinks came after we had Finished eating. Food tasteful awful and smelt stale, Table didn’t have Utensils, we had to take from a different table our self. Washroom was not clean. The only highlight was the shrimp spring roll was nice.

Terrible service. The staffs served their kids more than me. I had to ask someone to take my orders after I sat there for 10 mins, and she ended up asking me to write my orders on the paper and brought it to kitchen by myself. The food was bad, the worst Vietnamese foods I had in my life. I ordered the beef noodle bowl, no taste even I put 2 fish sauces into it.

I made an order for pick up and my bill was higher than anticipated. because there was a price difference between their website and the store menu. the meal I ordered for pick up showed 16.95 and I was charged 19.90 for the one meal. That price difference would add up significantly if I had ordered for a family of 4. The food is okay but not worth 20 dollars for a single meal. They did not stand by the price on their web site menu for the bombyah. They did not tell me my total when I placed my order. So I had no way of knowing the price difference.

Very friendly environment. After visiting the museum this is the best place to stop by and recharge youself for their delicous food. They a good size serving enough for us to be full.

My friend and I stopped here while in Drumheller. It's a small, friendly restaurant with a fairly extensive menu. I didn't visit the rest room, but the restaurant appeared clean. We ordered 2 types of pho and sweet chili chicken. The pho was a bit gamey and the appetizer was pretty small, but tasty.

Service is slow and the food taste poorly that it isnt how other pho restaurants is made. Portions is small and expensive. Inside felt like it wasn't cleaned well.

Very poor experience, extremely slow services. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant, its just a restaurant that serves vietnamese food that cooks by the philipinos. U can easily know its not authentic by the sign of the restaurant because they even miss spelled the name of the food they are serving as “Phỏ” instead of “Phở”. Serving is really slow for my own experience. The waitress kept asking us what we have ordered over again and again. we waited for the food for over 45 mins and still not get the foods. but there were other people that came after us got the food first. and until we asked we realized the severed forgot to serve it and even the cooker forgot to cook it??? The foods quality not even that good compared to how long we had waited and the price. the broth was salty and tasted like nothing. The toppings were really few and small. Since im not a picky eater and have been eaten at alot of vietnamese restaurants in both Canada and Vietnam this is my worst experience. the atmosphere here is really bad and hot and only half of the room has the lights turned on. chopsticks and spoons, fork were abit dirty and not washed properly. overall i DO NOT recommend to go to this restaurant if you want to try vietnamese food because they are destroying and making a really bad point of view for the vietnamese food and culture. will never go back here again P/s: to the restaurant if you are choosing to serve food that is from and represent a country and their culture. You should but your heart in it and learn how to do it properly. not just serving anything random then call it “vietnamese food” because the food you are serving is not even vietnamese at all. This is creating a really bad view for people who have never try a viet food before.

Delicious! What a cozy restaurant that’s only a walking distance from the big dinosaur. It’s in our top 3 restaurants to visit when we are in town. The seasoning is just right!

To be honest, we were disappointed with this place. Everything was bland or salty. Most of us ordered grilled pork chop and oh boy it's so salty! It tasted like it was a salted pork chop rather than a typical Vietnamese porkchop. Then we go to the sides, couple of pieces of lettuce, cucumber and carrot. The fish sauce its not the usual Vietnamese fish sauce. It's more of a spicy than salty and sweet. The spring rolls is more of a noodle rolls. We also got a beef vermicelli bowl and its just salty.

So glad a local recommended these gem to us while in town for a hockey tournament! The family that runs this is Filipino (maybe some new additions to the menu in the future? Pansit perhaps ;-) They we're super sweet and patient with our overly hungry group. Everyone left with happy tummy and the kiddos LOVED the attached ice cream shoppe! The kid size scoop was a perfect end to the meal!

Had take-out based on other suggestions due to lack of ambience. They weren't wrong! The food was decent and one of the better options we experienced while in Drumheller. Decent only by comparison to the other restaurant options available. 3 or 4-star experience.

Marginal at best. The food and food quality is marginal at best. The restaurant looks like a run-down cafeteria. One day, they will have to figure out if they are an ice cream shop or a restaurant. In this case, they are trying to serve everyone but end up pleasing no one. The pho broth is on the weak side and needs more flavor ( beef bones in the broth). The vegetable spring rolls were awful.

Average food, not super authentic. Decent portions, friendly staff, I guess what you can expect for A small town. Will pass on Vietnamese next time I'm in town.

Sign outside said "Under new management". So maybe this explains the 1 star scores from years ago. From the outside, you wouldn't think this was a Vietnamese restaurant. The decor is dated and mish mash of tables and chairs. Chopsticks and spoons were not on every table and neither were the small sauce dishes. So we had to ask for them However the food is very good. I'm from Toronto where there's tons of Vietnamese places and I've had more than my fair share. We came here for dinner, ordered the #1 house pho and beef pho. The noodles were perfect, soup broth was not as strong as others but still very good. Beef was tender and had lots of meat. Balls were good too. We also ordered the Avocado drink, they put vanilla ice cream into it so it was like drinking vanilla dessert. The washrooms were very clean. I have 5 stars because we are in freakin Drumheller , Alberta people!! It ain't Toronto. So having a delicious Vietnamese restaurant like this is impressive. I'd came here again. If I was in town again. Hopefully after earning more profits, they can renovate the interior and make it look more like a Vietnamese restaurant.

Great and friendly service but not authentic Vietnamese food. Run by a philippino family and has an adjacent ice-cream store. The beef noodle was using the wonton broth and does not taste like pho at all. Spring rolls was also not authentic style Vietnamese spring rolls. Overall, this satisfies the Asian flavour taste bud with a family friendly atmosphere but don't expect real Vietnamese food.

I'm not quite sure why this place got four stars but I personally think I've had better Vietnamese food. I'm not from here but from where I'm from, the food is awesome. I ordered the vermicelli which is what I normally get at any Vietnamese place and it was served to me super dry. It barely had any flavor and the non-Asian servers even forgot to serve me the fish sauce that goes on top of it. Drumheller is such a small town and I guess the people that live in it have never had anything better. If you ever decide to try, just lower your expectations so you won't get disappointed like I did.

You can get burgers and fries anywhere.. Why not try something new? Huge portions, good prices and impressive flavours. Family ordered beef satay noodle soup and udon noodle stir fry - delicious. Salad roll? Awful. Amazing service! Kind and catering.

The salad rolls were really large. We enjoyed our visit before attending the Passion Play, and appreciated that it was open in the afternoon.

The outside might not look like much, and the fact that it's also attached to an ice cream store might be eye brow raising for some. Inside, the decor is a bit dated. Alright, but why the 5? The washrooms are actually CLEAN and pleasant to go to. The food is very tasty and there's plentiful for portions. And the staff is friendly, always a bonus. And if you want some desert, you don't have to go far to get some ice cream.

I thought the food was really good and service was friendly. From the look of the outside of the restaurant it's not typically somewhere where I would go, but based on where to eat in Drumheller this was one of the top places and rightfully so. I cannot believe some of the good restaurants in this small town. Impressed.

The noodle bowls here are very good. Bring your appetite for the large bowl. Don't let the interior decor of the place fool you. Very good food.

This place has a nice wife selection of vermicelli for right around 10 dollars. The flavours are all there and the bowls are a decent size for the price. The interior is certainly nothing near fine dining but it's warm and dry. A nice place for a light lunch.

Great food. Vintage decor. Very mid 60s look that is actually kind of cool. It would cost a fortune to make a place look this period on purpose. Needed a little more staff in FOH as there was only one guy for a pretty much full restaurant. If I ever find myself back in drumheller I'll go back.

I've eaten a lot of prairie Vietnamese food and this was delicious! I liked ordering with the number sheet. The salad rolls were fresh and stayed together nicely. The vermicelli noodles were moist and the veg fresh. The highlight was the spicy beef soup. So flavourful! Very fast and big portion sizes.

Delicious food, friendly staff. Yes, it could use a Restaurant Makeover but if you are looking for a quality meal, that tastes great, for a reasonable price be sure to check it out.

This place is awful!!! The owners are not vietnamese, no wonder they dont know anything about vietnamese food. My kids and i got so sick from eating there for the first time.

Yum! Good quality, good prices. Perhaps the decor could do with an upgrade, but that's a minor complaint.

this, in my opinion, is the best restaurant Drumheller has to offer overall. the food is fresh, delicious and the staff are friendly. if i am to opt anywhere to eat, this place comes in #1!
