View Point Resort

The best place we have ever stayed!!!!! You won’t regret booking We stayed in pool villa 6 and it was unbelievable. We actually changed some of our plans so we could stay at the resort and also in our villa the entire time… and we were still sad to leave! We wish we booked longer here. The staff are beyond accommodating before and during our stay. They helped carry our cases, organise tours at the best prices (far less than any online), brought anything we needed to the room, you can have free breakfast delivered to your room!!! Free taxi for pick up from pier or other hotel. The list goes on There is a private beach which just looks unreal and it’s so quiet , only a handful of people there and this is high season. The restaurant was incredible every night and they do a mix of asian and western dishes. Staff couldn’t be any better ! Thank you so much for the most amazing stay and what we think is definitely going to be the highlight of our Thailand trip!! We are already looking to come back with our family! Many thanks

Highly recommend the Viewpoint Resort in Koh Tao! The place is beautiful and well-kept, but what really makes it amazing is the staff! They are absolutely lovely people—genuinely friendly, funny, accommodating. We watched some of the staff happily play with a baby and toddler during breakfast, allowing their parents to eat in peace, knowing their kiddos were in good hands. They did it without being asked and we could see they genuinely enjoyed the interaction. Aside from that, there is a lot to do within walking distance—many beaches, little shops, kayak rentals, snorkelling right off the beach at the resort, and a lot of restaurants (both fancy and mom and pop places—all with excellent cuisine)! Lastly, it’s far enough from the chaos that it’s peaceful and relaxing, but close enough that it’s just a quick shuttle or cab ride into the town center in Sairee beach.

This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The complimentary pick-up from the port was a huge convenience, and we were welcomed with refreshing Thai tea and a cold towel. The service throughout our stay was truly outstanding, the staff handled absolutely everything immediately and with a smile. Our bungalow was wonderful, and it was incredible how beautifully the entire property is integrated with nature. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. We also had a lovely terrace in front of our bungalow, ideal for peaceful evenings. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the hotel’s focus on healthy, eco-friendly living was a great plus. At one point the air conditioning broke, but the staff fixed it right away while we were out in town - their efficiency was impressive. The hotel also rents scooters at the same prices as anywhere else on the island, which was extremely convenient. They take care of your luggage and make everything so effortless that you can completely forget about the outside world. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay - truly an unforgettable experience.

We stayed here in Dec 2025 and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is right on / above the water on a lovely quiet bay, which we swam and snorkeled in every day. The resort is fairly remote but you can walk along the shore to the nearby town with numerous restaurants and other services. And the hotel itself has an in house taxi service to take you into the nearby towns and snorkeling areas. Our room was the beachfront villa and it was amazing, right over the bay. Breakfast was solid and included in the price, and the Thai food at the resort was excellent. Our kids stayed in garden view villas which were more basic but also good. Service was really top notch. Highly recommended.

The staff are wonderful here, giving advice for restaurants and arranging long tail boat snorkel tours. Piera and Diego were just fantastic! Bao was the captain of both of our private snorkel tours and he was excellent and knew where to find the fish. Yes, the resort is a bit out of the way, but you can use the hotel shuttle for $3/person. Also, it was relaxing and peaceful to be away from the busy towns. Yes, it’s located on a hillside, but worth it for the views and jungle environment. Gorgeous! Yes, it’s a hike down to breakfast, but the ocean is lovely. Also, if you stay in one of the villas, they will deliver breakfast to you. This was so special, delicious, a highlight of our stay. See my photos. The resort is beautifuly landscaped. There is an amazing infinity pool over the bay. Sadly we could not see the sunset but we loved our stay nevertheless. The room had a very nice garden view terrace. We loved the bed with a mosquito net. The breakfast was also very good. We highly recommend the Thai omelette. We like seeing the bats at night. 🦇 The only downside is that coming back late from the town with a taxi may cost up to 500thb.

Really nice property away from the busy towns full of travellers. |Very peaceful if you want to just relax there. You can walk round to freedom beach and sharks bay albeit it is a walk. On the way there’s other places to eat and dive. ||Hotels runs a free shuttle 3 times a week to one of the towns. Otherwise they offer a taxi service at 100thb pp each way. ||Rooms are lovely ||Water provided||Pool is lovely ||Restaurant and bar was nice||Breakfast was offered.||Be aware there are a lot of steep steps at this property so it’s not suitable for everyone. It’s also out the way so you need either a moped or a taxi to go anywhere beyond what’s near the hotel.

This hotel is a perfect and complete package! The location of it is superb, right next to the bay, the view in the name is completely deserved. The huts and rooms are scattered in a small maze of little pathways among trees and bamboos, giving it a unique feeling. On the map it is further from the pier, but know that there is a clever route to the nearby beach and shops that cut the journey to less than 10 minutes (it is for walk only though)! The rooms are spacious and greatlu furbished, giving you your own enclave on the island. But my biggest praise go to the staff - they are going way and beyond for you and your troubles. Always ready to help, they managed to sort our ferry problems (beware of cancellations in November if the weather is windy!) in our stead and their patience is without limits. Huge shout-out to the staff and everyone involved with the hotel! Big recommendations!
