Vigie Beach

This is a nice beach within half an hour's walk from St. Lucia Cruise Centre, next to the airport runway. It was not crowded even on a weekend. Do not expect to find any public bathroom facilities unless you are going to some of the resorts along the beach.

Local beach north of the airport. Was not busy on the Friday we were here, it was cloudy though. Has several bars/restaurants on the southern end. Have to pay for use of the restrooms there. $1.00 US. $2.00 EC. Beach lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent also.

Lovely spot, 3 areas along Beach with chair rentals. We are at the area with yellow umbrellas and what is loved was NO MUSIC! Just the sound of the ocean, what a relaxing spot! No personal boom boxes allowed! Really nice staff too! No

We had lovely day on vigie beach. Tour operators outside cruise port tried to talk us into different beaches. This is the nearest to cruise port so we went. Airport across road from beach so if your into plane spotting it's a great place to do it.You can do horse riding on the beach without booking

During our Cruise we made a stop-over in St Lucia and wanted to see a natural, beautiful Caribbean beach. Unfortunately we got recommended other beaches which didn‘t attract us at all. Only by chance we landed here and were able to enjoy the beautiful water and the nice bars.

Quite long stretch of white sand, loads of space. The left hand side, more close to the airport, it gave me the impression that is more visited by the locals, doing picnics and hanging out. The right hand side by the guests of the resort. Recommended

The eastern part of the beach near airport is great. There is a bar with decent quantity of rental beach beds and Very few people around. You can park and sit in the shade of trees if you prefer. And you can observe airplanes landing and taking off from airport next to the beach - use flightradar to get times of take offs. Or rent a horse and ride on the beach..
