Vikri Beach Resort offers a peaceful retreat with easy access to both the beach and main road. Its tranquil setting makes it an ideal spot for families or those looking for a quieter stay without sacrificing convenience. The staff is notably friendly and helpful, adding a welcoming touch to the experience.||||Pros:||||Walking distance to the beach with access to various beach activities.||The resort's location strikes a balance between convenience and serenity.||Great hospitality, with staff always ready to assist.||||Cons:||||Rooms could use improvement, particularly concerning cleanliness. Issue with ants, and the bathroom standards could be higher.||||Overall, the resort provides good value for its location and amenities, but attention to detail in room cleanliness would elevate the guest experience significantly. For families or travelers seeking a calm getaway close to the beach, this is still a solid choice.

The room is dirty enough. Flys, ants and dust everywhere inside the room. Monkeys everywhere outside the unit and even our food are taken in a sudden. We booked a family room with 3 adults but the owner only provided 2 towels and 1 small cup. There is no replacement of used towels or restocking of the drinking water. Air-conditioning and hot showers do not really work. The only advantage is walking distance from hotel to the breach.

A Tranquil Kampung-Style Experience We stayed at this chalet recently and were charmed by its serene, nature-rich, old kampung-style atmosphere. For anyone seeking a getaway from city life, this place is a great option. It provides an excellent opportunity to expose kids to the beauty of a traditional village setting, which we found refreshing and unique. Room Details: Our room had two queen beds, which were comfortable enough for our stay. The furniture was old but functional. However, the wardrobe door was broken, which could use some maintenance. We didn’t bother switching on the TV since we were out exploring the island most of the time, so it didn’t affect us. Highlights: Nature Encounters: The kids were thrilled to see a hornbill for the first time, which was an unforgettable experience for them. Rustic Ambience: The surroundings gave us a sense of peace and connection to nature, perfect for a break from the urban hustle. Things to Note: Wildlife: Be cautious with food, as we encountered monkeys near our chalet. There were also wild boars spotted at the back of the chalet, likely coming from the forest nearby. It’s an exciting yet important reminder to stay alert. Wi-Fi: We stayed in Chalet No. 23, where the Wi-Fi signal wasn’t very strong. This may be an area for improvement. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we’d recommend it for families looking to enjoy a nature-focused retreat. Just a few precautions, and you’re all set for a unique experience!

Food was simply fantastic. Family run business with 5 star service. Very good location right infront of the beach. They made me feel like I own the place.

I would rate this place highly cause their food was delicious and service was excellent. I remember morning was raining and the staff had come and left umbrella outside the door for us to come for breakfast.

The beach is just across resort. The indian uncle and aunty are very friendly. No restriction such as can't smoke. It's open and you can easily smoke outside of your room. They serve good bottled beer with reasonable price. Aunty cooks wonderful food for lunch. You may request on your menu. Been here more thn 10 times and will always be my favourite and my only choice is always Vikri

Located just a little bit outside the noice and bustle of the city is this very nice and simple resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the beach and main road, but never noisy. Rent a moped at the hotel or take a cheap taxi for the transportations. Some monkeys, pigs dogs and cats at the resort, but never disturbing, just fun to see them. Simple but clean rooms. Low prices so it is well spent money.
