I thank the owner of this hostel for the warm welcome. Incredibly cozy place to relax, and conveniently located near the train station. A great place for single travelers, the atmosphere is like home.

DO NOT STAY HERE. We found bed bugs and there was a child running loose. There was also mouldy chicken on the side. When we alerted someone to the bed bugs, she swept their eggs onto our feet and accused us of bringing them in from the overnight train. This aggressive response proved that we were right to leave as the owners were clearly aware of the problem. Go to Popcorn Hostel nearby instead, excellent service and clean rooms.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I think your defensive aggressive response will let anyone considering staying at your hostel think twice. We stayed 1 night but paid for 2 because we felt bad not staying for the four we had booked. I am not sure why you think I believe the world is full of slaves? Anyway, our toilet smelled musty, there were urine stains under the seat, there was a think layer of dust and feathers under the bed. I do not consider a 1 ring electric cooker to be sufficient for a hostel of that size. The pots of moldy food in the kitchen which were there when we arrived, were there when we left. The total lack of workspace in the kitchen, filthy pans and general lack of cleaning did not fit with the standard of hostels that we have stayed in, which number many. Yours is the worst. I chose not to write a review initially because I thought you were both nice people. How wrong could I be.

OK if you need a shelter for the night but we would never chose to stay again. Overall we felt uncomfortable and uneasy, we didn't sleep and couldn't wait to get out in the morning . Everywhere felt generally unkempt and dirty or tired, the kitchen particularly looked distinctly unhygienic. We had paid extra for breakfast but the mouldy pots n plates piled in the sink made us regret that and we left without eating. It is conveniently close to the train station, which offers lots of choice for hot and fresh food

Nice old house, good owner. But very dirty and smelly, old beds and spots on the bed. The kitchen is terrible and without a microwave. It was hot, summer and opened the window and did not sleep all night and for mosquitoes. This place could have been better!

The place is a family home turned into a hostel and you can feel it everywhere. It's very welcoming and warm and Deborah is an amazing host (I didn't meet her husband during my stay). There's really good food for breakfast and if you give them a notice in advance, they will integrate your diet (vegan, gluten free) in their breakfast. Very recommendable place!

I stayed here in August, it was warm, unfortunately there was no airconditioning in the room. We stayed on the top floor, you can only reach it via a narrow staircase, this can be a problem if you are elderly or handicapped. Fortunately help is on hand to take heavy suitcases upstairs. The bed was reasonable, bathroom fine. Breakfast was simple, the breakfast room cramped, but the place had a nice atmosphere to it and friendly staff, who gave good information as to where to get the bus or the taxi to the airport or the city centre. Furthermore, the price was very good.
