We arrived in the afternoon and the checkin was really fast. We stayed in room no 5 on the second floor. Our first impression was that the location is really nice and clean and the staff was really friendly. This was just the first impression.... The tv had a cable out and we had to call the Receptioner to help us make the tv to work. I don’t know the system but to be honest the TV all the time had issues. Just a reminder the bathtub was really small and narrow and I’m not that tall... 😉 for whenever someone wants to take a shower 😉. The old town is pretty close to the location at appx. 20 minutes walking. Next day we left in the afternoon and when we came the room was already done however was not clean properly... hairs on the bathroom floor.... I mean was a easy vacuum.... anyway the overall experience was an average because of the first impression 😉

Quirky decor, small boutique hotel. We were on top floor next to lift. Didn't notice lift noise, could hear trams but noise not too invasive. Got used to it & having trams outside is good to get to town or 20 min walk. We hired a car & was room for 2 cars to park & we reserved one of them. |Reception staff all really helpful & good English. |Our room was a nice size, clean warm and huge bathroom. only irritation was lack of coffee for machine in room. I like a coffee and dispite keep asking for replacement capsules seems they ran out.|Would definitely return if back in Bucharest which is also a great place to visit. Make sure you take the free walking tour -see reviews on trip advisor- as soon as you arrive. helps to get to know the town and see places off the tourist map.

The hotel is situated next to a busy road junction with cars and trams using the junction. The first tram rumbles past at 5am actually shaking the fittings in the room. Car traffic starts building up around 7 ish , so if you require a good nights sleep you really need to take ear plugs . The hotel is a good 25 minutes walk from the busy areas of the city and old town , although there are several nice eateries within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.||We had the bizzare experience of being the only guests in the hotel and were given a key to the side door to let ourselves in and out after 5pm .||All 7 rooms are well set out, clean and tidy with plenty of toiletries supplied in the bathroom , although Im not sure that white deep pile carpets are a good idea especially when there is 6 inches of snow all over the city .|| Breakfast was fresh and with egg dishes made to order.

The hotel is modern and trendy, with interesting art in all the public spaces. We looked in the doors of other rooms and they're similarly attractive. The carpet in our room was lush and delightful to walk in. This hotel is attractive enough to impress, and it's comfortable too. Service at reception is friendly.... for Romania. That sounds really patronising, but it's not meant that way. Romanians do not give away smiles and do not use fluffy words, but after a few minutes of conversation, there's kindness to be found. The staff at Vila Arte were kind, polite and helpful. We emailed before we left Sofia, Bulgaria, to check whether they had on-site parking. It was confirmed that we could park, BUT beware that there is only one space on the driveway, so if you want that space, make sure you ask.

Beautiful small but real 4 stars hôtel. Professional staff. Perfect for a romantic moment. Only 7 rooms with different decoration (à Big change compare to standard 4 stars hôtels!). I recommand Ottoman suite, beautifully designed.|10 mn from old center. Good WiFi. |We will come back for sure!||

This is the perfect example of a fake website! Nothing looks like it! This place is nothing but a 2 stars hotel in a terrible spot where you hear all night long the tram, and the traffic! My room was not clean( the bathroom bin was still full) the bed is half Brocken; the bathroom is super small without space for your stuff;|At 22.00 the hotel close and you need to enter from the kitchen door and pass trough it!!|Horrible nights:-(

When I reached the hotel I was shocked because the building from outside doesn't look amazing however its decoration from inside is amazing. Rooms are nice and large, However, the douche was extra small and I am petite and barely fit in. Staff is good but after 10 there is no front desk to help. The location is amazing I didn't use any transportation to go to anywhere.

Lovely little place. Great staff, nice breakfast, fast wifi and free parking. It's a bit of a walk to the city center but tram stops around the corner and any walk in Bucharest is fun with lots of (positive) surprises.
