Vila do Samba

A fantastic samba club with an authentic vibe, mostly frequented by locals. The drinks were reasonably priced, which was a nice plus. Leo was our fantastic waiter. During my visit, the first band had some sound quality issues—it felt like there was an unnecessary background track interfering with the performance. One thing I found puzzling was the requirement for identification to enter; I’m not sure why it was needed. Overall, it’s a great spot for enjoying live samba music and soaking in the local atmosphere!

This place is amazing but I remember seeing more people on Sundays evening. I’m not gonna complain as it was very comfortable to walk/dance around 😎 but I missed that energy of people singing and clapping along with the band! Anyway, always a great place to go if you are into samba.

Historic Samba venue. Where the women and men come to dance the night away. Great service,Great prices,Clean restrooms and plenty of security.

It was a nice place to hang out with friends. At the entrance, the staff was not knowledgeable of international drivers license, also my international Visa card that is accepted everywhere in Brazil, was not accepted there. I could have spent a lot more if they could charge me and not my local friends.
