Vila Kalango

It’s my second time at Vila Kalango, and once again, everything was just amazing!|The room is spacious, and the bed so comfortable that we’ve never slept better. Every night, you receive a different sweet treat along with a lovely little story about how it was locally made — that’s how much care and attention they put into every detail!|Breakfast is an absolute delight, and you get to enjoy it with the best view of Jeri’s main spot.|The location couldn’t be better: right on the beach — perfect for wingfoiling — yet just far enough from the town center to stay peaceful and quiet at night.|Definitely the best pousada to stay at in Jeri. I already can’t wait to come back!

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in across all travels! It is beautifully decorated - we call it rustic lux - and the location is great with a garden overlooking the beach & sunset. The rooms are incredible - your own little hut, with lots of sustainable features, a really comfy bed and a personal hammock. We also love the living room - it’s great how there are so many different areas you can hang out. However the best thing is definitely all the efforts the hotel make to go above and beyond - e.g. daily deserts in our rooms, a local newspaper / story delivered everyday, afternoon tea, sunset party with live band etc. Unexpected and amazing service.

I have been going to Jericoacoara almost every year for over 20 years and stayed multiple times in Vila Kalango. Simply said, it has been and remains the best place in the village. It was one of the first hotels to open in Jeri and it has managed to stay authentic throughout the years. The site is gorgeous, right on the beach with a spacious garden, a large swimming pool, a bar, and an excellent restaurant. The staff is super friendly and many of them speak English. Even when you don't stay there, you should go hang out for sunsets: these guys have the best views and often organize some events at that time. |I also love that they have a board school onsite to learn wing foil or windsurf, and are part of the same group as Rancho do Peixe (the #1 kite school in Brazil) located in Preá, the neighboring village where people go kitesurfing. Vila Kalango provides complimentary transfers to & from Rancho multiple times every day, that's super convenient when you are learning how to kite. || I just love this place and its people, and cannot wait to go back!!!

Vila Kalango is a very special place. The kind you will want to return to year after year. Besides the amazing winds and kitesurfing, the hotel experience is like no other. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay great. I really fell in love when I have seen how they care for my daughter year after year. I literally only leave the hotel to go kitesurfing and then return. Food, massages, beach, pool, friends — they have everything you need to experience the magic of Jericoacara.

This was my third kite season in a row staying at a bungalow Vila Kalango. Love the fact I can windsurf or wing foil right out front in the morning and then hop in a buggy to kite someplace nearby in the afternoon. Will be going back next year for my 4th season :)

last resort on the strip adjacent to sand dunes and start of the ecological landscape and beach line. romantic small huts (don’t take too much luggage , no need for shoes as all is sand), even the village & its restaurants). nice pool and piece of grass to play or hang out for drinks later in evening.

Always lovely. The staff are very kind and helpful, location used to be calm but with increased traffic on the road it was noisy and busy early and with these types of open bungalows difficult to keep noise out.

Amazing experience at Viila Kalango! The resort is stunning and staff very nice and welcoming. Good food at the restaurant and s receptionist very fast to accomplish any guest request. Super recommend!
