Vila Park B&B

A wonderful stay. Great location tucked away from main tourist area but very close to lake, hiking trails, and Vogel cable car. A beautiful stream runs by the B&B. Facilities are great and the owner is charming and friendly. She also serves a great breakfast. Our favorite accommodation during our trip to Slovenia

What a great hotel. Clean, friendly and well positioned.||Jana the host is just fantastic nothing is too much problem.||Beds are are really comfortable rooms with a small sauna thrown in.||24 hour tea & coffee with an honesty bar. Burbling brook next to the house.||3rd stay here and I'm coming back.

The facility was better than we expected. The building is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are well-equipped, neat and cleaned every day. I think all rooms have balconies, ours certainly did. The property has a large garden right by the river with deckchairs and small tables. Breakfasts are plentiful, tasty buffet - everyone will find something for themselves. The staff is very polite and helpful. There are many maps in the building, you can also ask the staff for advice on mountain hiking.

We have just had 4 wonderful nights at Vila Park, Bohinj. Where to start… location is brilliant - Ukranc is THE place to stay around Bohinj (much quieter and less people/development) and the setting of Vila Park with its gardens edged by the most mind-blowingly beautiful stream/river is truly unique. Rooms are super, but what makes our stay unforgettable is the host, Jana. Her No 1 concern is the happiness of her guests. Nothing is too much trouble. Her breakfasts are THE BEST. Wonderful selection, including local produce, and all served with such consideration. And Jana is always very happy to provide knowledgeable recommendations for walks, day time activities and places to eat in the evenings. If you plan to visit the area, this is the place to stay. We certainly will when we revisit the area.

This hotel is fantastic! Yanna is the most wonderful hostess. The property is so beautiful, clean and very well located. The garden is a wonderful place to sit. Breakfast was delicious and very well done- something for everyone. A must visit!!

An absolute gem in a spectacularly good location. Minutes from swimming in Lake Bohinj, bordering directly on the azure colored river and with direct views to the 1000 meter rock faces to your North and South. Oh, and you can walk to the Vogel cable car station. Despite all this the location is almost completely quiet. The proprietor is a wonderful lady who looks after every guest like family (except with more privacy :) Breakfast is amazing and there are various treats available 24/7. The property itself is meticulously maintained down to the last detail. We’ll be back.

Offering peace and quiet, in a truly idyllic riverside setting, the Vila Park made us feel good from the moment we arrived : it was so easy to relax immediately. Our room was comfortable, very clean and cool with an unobstructed view from its balcony. Our multi-lingual host, Jana, was just perfect in making sure all went well, chatting to us like old friends but also giving us space to enjoy the wonderful setting of her property. We had excellent coffee available at any time of day, along with nibbles, and breakfast - both hot and cold set us up ideally each day for all the local walks. If we visit Slovenia again, Vila Park would be our first place to aim for! Thank you, Jana!
