Vila Preseren

Breakfast at Vila Prešeren was such a highlight. The food was genuinely amazing. Shiv ordered the waffle — it looked incredible, and he enjoyed every bite. What made the moment even better was that he walked up to the host all by himself and said, “Thank you very much for the great waffles,” completely unprompted by us. One of those small parenting moments you quietly file away. Mila ordered the American breakfast. She happily ate the sausages and not much else — very on brand. I ordered the English breakfast and polished it off in no time. My husband ordered the Slovenian breakfast and did exactly the same. We also ordered one of the sandwiches — which, as always, was perfection. A truly great place for breakfast: excellent food, warm service, and beautiful views over Lake Bled. One of those meals that sets the tone for the whole day.

One of the best place in Bled. It is located in beside the lake in hotel Vila Prešeren. You can sit outside or inside. You can enjoy your coffee or piece of cake in this nice place without so loud music. Prices are affordable but high. Toaletes are clean.

Spacious comfortable 2 bedroom suite with a large balcony overlooking Lake Bled. Great location, with access to pathway. Friendly staff. Parking available on-site. Had a tasty breakfast in the restaurant and they accommodated our request for a vegetarian substitute.

We arrived a bit like drowned rats as the three minute walk from the bus station was accompanied by a torrential downpour. Despite dripping water as we walked in the greeting was warm and very friendly and helpful. We had forgotten our phone charger and they found one almost instantly which we were able to borrow for our stay. Our room, while a bit small looked out over the lake so you could wake up, open the curtains and see the lake straight in front of you. ||We ate there in the evening, we both had fish which was really well cooked and piping hot. Breakfast was also good.||The whole place was really clean and good value. We would go back.

Very mediocre hotel. The outside is MUCH better than the inside. This hotel is basically worth 2 stars yet I was generous and gave it 3. The locale was wonderful, the staff were pleasant BUT THE ROOM WAS HIDEOUS. I do not like bugs. We had 3 different types in our room. It was anything but kindly decorated. Bed, 2 end tables and a bathroom. The shower was a mess. The bed was over firm and the pillows were rock hard. The door did not fit in place very well and light shone in from hallway, also making room loud.|Plenty of other places in area to try for much less than what we spent!

Too expensive for the service they offer. Coffee is bland with a lot of milk. Prešeren cake is bland, tasteless. That's my experience, other things can be ok. Rating can be improved.

Marvelous. The calm of it all. I guess it’s the lake that’s calm, and everyone gets under its influence, without knowing it. Everybody, those drinking coffee, like me, or passers by or catfish fishermen, we all feel this tiny little embarrassment over our own calmness. The morning was a bit hazy. As if the sun was still asleep. But the calm…

Horrendous experience, waiter (very rude) wouldn't serve sandwich at 12.45 p.m. saying they are restaurant a la carte, and they serve only lunches after 12 o'clock. So if you would like to have only snack... you are out of luck.|They care only about money.
