The moment we arrived in the room we spotted a bed bug sticking at the wall. After a short look under the bed, we found another one. We decided to leave immediately. A guy working in the hall told us that the stuff is aware but fails to take efficient measures. This hotel actually needs to be quarantined until the problem is solved. The room looked nicely renovated and the location was good. Also, I think that this old building is quite charming and serves well for a hostel. But this is unacceptable. Also, the owners are ghosting us about a refund (which I think should go without question.) Better avoid the place.

Friday night we arrive to the place, first of all we didn’t receive any information about how to check in, you were waiting for us to reach out to you while we are outside your door waiting for your link to be sent in order to pay the accommodation fee that you mentioned it will be sent to me the day of arrival but where have you been until 8pm???????????? After we paid we were waiting for more than 10 minutes, again, outside the door in the night and cold!! Until the check in instruction will be sent. When we entered i saw a family with kids and asked them what is their experience from this hostel after i saw the awful reviews and im quoting them “it’s a horror house, no one to contact with, no one who takes care about the heating problem, there is no hot water in the shower”. Im reminding you that its less than -3 degrees at night!!!!!! Do you think that is legal to let people sleep like this and not care about them while its winter and not even considering about giving any compensation or a refund??????? You are CRAZY people im sorry. And if you think its only them, i also spoke to a group of young people that came few minutes before us, and they said the same thing, no hot water, no heating in the room, they tried to speak to you through booking app but there was no answer. We got into our room and couldn’t expect for nothing else, there was a heavy smell of mold and wetness, water stains on the wall, and a bug above our bed (which i didnt even got closer to define the exact creature since i already know you have bed bugs!!!!!!! and it was enough for me) The whole place is pealing apart, it looks neglected and not proper for people to pay from their MONEY!!!! and even set foot in such a place, its a crime that you take money from people who just looking for an affordable, decent place to spend their vacation at, and you dont even care about your property and don’t take care of it as it should!!!!!! OF COURSE we want to continue our trip as healthy and not end up in a hospital from hypothermia or infection/allergic reaction to bed bugs, plus we didn’t feel safe and there was no one to talk to and take our requests considerably, We took our things and left. The fact that you don’t care about it and think people will just except the situation and risk their lives, shows how severe and illegal this case is and needs to continue to further treatment by external factors. If you want me to continue with this complaining to however i need until i will get my money back, so be it!!! GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we arrived at the hostel, we were warned by other guests about bedbugs in the upper bunks. Several other travelers also told us about the issue. Unfortunately, nothing was done to deal with the bedbugs, and the rooms continued to be rented out as usual. On top of that, my friend had to sleep on the floor because the room was overbooked and all the beds were already taken. Despite the good location, I cannot recommend this hostel.

First of all, the rooms on the third floor were riddled with bedbugs. Yikes. The rooms were hot with no working AC and little ventilation.||We were especially concerned by the lack of safety- no locks on any bedrooms or flats, and the front door had a keypad but was very often left open. ||Management was nowhere to be found in the hostel- they were hard to contact, and didn't reply to any of our complaints.||The bathroom and kitchen were being used by the first and third floor as well bc of lack of facilities, so it was overcrowded. ||Multiple guests left early because of these issues and we are all looking for refunds. For your sake, do not go here.

I didn't see any bedbugs and had a nice time with some funny indians who always cooked for me but I have to say the service is really bad. There is no contact person and receiving a reply via WhatsApp or the Booking chat can take a day at least. Also the whole place is a bit messy and not quite clean. Cheap stay and good Location though

Dirty and bed bugs! I just left the hostel after I had bed bugs in my room (private room with shared bathroom, see photos). The hostel is dirty and it smells like mould in it. Some rooms are in the basement, and there is no reception, the main door is always open, your stuff is not safe. Never had such a bad experience!

Good experience and good prices. The hostel is not that social, so not great for backpackers, because there are no social activities. Also, the bathroom was not very clean.

I’ll be objective here. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. There’s a lot of moaning in the reviews. It serves a purpose for the price. Could be cleaner and lacks day to day maintenance, it’s a beautiful old building but doesn’t get the investment it deserves. Unfortunately, as it’s cheap and not well kept the guests will treat it accordingly, ie, not cleaning up etc.. A lot of people asked about bike storage, there isn’t really any, but there are places indoors you can put a bike. The basement, on the stairs or like I did on the balcony. You can lock it outside, but it’s on view and I was not happy with leaving my expensive bike there. The cleaning staff didn’t seem to mind were you left your bike.
