The moment we arrived in the room we spotted a bed bug sticking at the wall. After a short look under the bed, we found another one. We decided to leave immediately. A guy working in the hall told us that the stuff is aware but fails to take efficient measures. This hotel actually needs to be quarantined until the problem is solved. The room looked nicely renovated and the location was good. Also, I think that this old building is quite charming and serves well for a hostel. But this is unacceptable. Also, the owners are ghosting us about a refund (which I think should go without question.) Better avoid the place.

When we arrived at the hostel, we were warned by other guests about bedbugs in the upper bunks. Several other travelers also told us about the issue. Unfortunately, nothing was done to deal with the bedbugs, and the rooms continued to be rented out as usual. On top of that, my friend had to sleep on the floor because the room was overbooked and all the beds were already taken. Despite the good location, I cannot recommend this hostel.

Worst hostel experience ever. The building is under heavy renovation, with scaffolding everywhere and filthy common areas. My “private double room” was basically a closet: no real window, only a dirty skylight, rubble under the bed, a hole in the wall, strong smell of paint. Air conditioning didn’t work, the fan was dirty, and there was garbage outside the door. No reception, no help from staff, no replies to calls or emails. Unsafe staircase with no lights and peeling walls. Completely misrepresented online – avoid at all costs.

I didn't see any bedbugs and had a nice time with some funny indians who always cooked for me but I have to say the service is really bad. There is no contact person and receiving a reply via WhatsApp or the Booking chat can take a day at least. Also the whole place is a bit messy and not quite clean. Cheap stay and good Location though

Terrible experience at this establishment. We booked a double room for one night. Upon arrival, we discovered that it was not the room we had reserved. But most importantly, once inside, we found bedbugs around the bed. There was no need to look under the bed or the mattress, they were clearly visible on the floor. We decided to leave immediately to avoid being infested ourselves. We contacted the establishment, but they refused to refund us or offer any gesture of goodwill. Here are some photos. Dirty and bed bugs! I just left the hostel after I had bed bugs in my room (private room with shared bathroom, see photos). The hostel is dirty and it smells like mould in it. Some rooms are in the basement, and there is no reception, the main door is always open, your stuff is not safe. Never had such a bad experience!

I’ll be objective here. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. There’s a lot of moaning in the reviews. It serves a purpose for the price. Could be cleaner and lacks day to day maintenance, it’s a beautiful old building but doesn’t get the investment it deserves. Unfortunately, as it’s cheap and not well kept the guests will treat it accordingly, ie, not cleaning up etc.. A lot of people asked about bike storage, there isn’t really any, but there are places indoors you can put a bike. The basement, on the stairs or like I did on the balcony. You can lock it outside, but it’s on view and I was not happy with leaving my expensive bike there. The cleaning staff didn’t seem to mind were you left your bike.

Terrible Airbnb/hostel or whatever this is, experience. We booked a different Airbnb but from the same guy, and 2 days prior, they canceled on us saying that it was due to maintenance. Of course One of the solutions was to book this Airbnb, which was way worse than the previous Airbnb and more expensive! For me that seemed like a scam of course. About the Airbnb it self: When I and my friend group of 7 people arrived, the smell was really bad, most of the door knobs and plugs (to Charge the phone for example) were almost broken, the showers were really smelly and dirty and the water didnt flushed out because it was mostly clogged. In the bedrooms itself, inside the fridge it smelled really bad, the curtains didnt block alot of sunlight so if you want to sleep late you will have to use a blindfold. Then One day after 23h, a japanese guy asked us for help because he payed for One night and the tourism tax already, but he didnt receive any Key code so he could get the keys to the room, all his messaged and phone calls were ignored by host. In the same night a girl went down stairs to our lobby (1 floor) terrifed asking for help because she was sleeping and a bed bug crawled on her skin while sleeping. In the same night again, another group of 2 girls were also given the keys of a Room that was not what they payed for, so the host Gave them another Key code. Using the same Key of these two girls, the japanese and the girl slept on the Room luckly avoiding that the japanese guy slept on the floor and the girl choose another Airbnb Overall One of the worst experiences i had with an Airbnb, but at least some good stories to tell my friends back home 😁
