Villa 1901

We spent 4 nights at the Villa 1901 and really enjoyed our time there. Especially the service was remarkable! Our host Francois was so helpful and truly interested in our wellbeing. He had great tips for restaurants and also for hiking in the area and he always checked how things were going for us. ||The weather was beautiful during our stay, so we were able to enjoy breakfast outside, overlooking the beautiful garden. Breakfast was great and tasty with a nice offering of fresh fruits, pastries, crispy baguette, a large variety of marmalade, fresh orange juice and home-made yoghurt. On request you could get cheese or eggs. Very delicious. ||Regarding the rooms: For the first nights we stayed in the room under the roof - beautiful but not very comfortable as the ceiling is low and the roof / wooden beams limit the space you can use. We then moved to a room on the second floor and enjoyed that much more. Remarkable design and comfort! ||Overall a truly memorable experience.

My wife, my 2 children and I, we enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful place. François was a very friendly host and did everything he could to make our trip easy to enjoy. ||Wonderful breakfast, especially for the one who love the sweets. Charming rooms with a lot of flair. ||We highly recommand this place to everyone who is looking for an unusual hotel to stay! We loved it!

Wow! What an amazing place. It's absolutely beautiful. Isabelle has done a wonderful job decorating the beautiful villa.Superfriendly and very helpful host on our first visit to Nancy. The breakfast was well presented and absolutely delicious. Can wait to go back.

Unbelievable, in the 'high praise' sense of that overused word. This two-night stop was the high point of out travels across France. 'Quaint' or 'quirky' are not applicable descriptions of this hotel because we became a part of a warm, charming and thoughtful household, not people staying in a 'go away' guest house - and we have experience of that one, too. No, this is outstanding in its attention to comfort and cleanliness. But the real treasure is the breakfast, taken as you look into a beautiful garden, chat to François or Isobel and stuff down fresh pastries, scrambled eggs, newly-squeezed orange juice, yoghurt ... the list really does go on and I haven't mentioned the sitting room yet. This place is a memory-maker for all the best reasons and I, for one, will always be glad to have stayed there.

We stayed for one night and were sooo positive suprised. It was a really good bb with a spectacular room. Every detail was so great. We had a wonderful breakfast that was including in the price with Beautiful porcelain and very good tasting with Fresh rasberries. It was a great garden with different stores with wonderful pieces. |I can warmly recommend this juvel👍

The hostess is charming and a great guide. The location, a short. Easy ride from everything. The decor will teach you how to design a home. The garden must be half an acre. The breakfasts are gourment . So if you like b&b why not have the best? You will have a great time in a great city. BTW parking, which usually scares me in FRance was easy thanks to Madame.

Arriving in the Villa, you have it all if you are looking for a cosy and calm place to crash in Nancy. The house has a spirit and the taste of the owner, Isabelle, is great. It’s nice, trendy and obviously very creative but also very relax and driven toward service. You arrive in a place that looks like the home that everyone dreams of. The only difference is that it’s not yours but everything is done to make you relax and feel at home. Our first visit was 4 years ago and the quality has not changed. Kids are welcome and, I guess even for business travellers this place is the place to be in Nancy.

We stayed for 1 night and Isabelle was so helpful and accommodating. The house is wonderfully decorated and breakfast superb! The location is a 15min walk into town which was fine for us. The house also has a lovely garden to relax in. The Wifi wasn't working but that was probably a good thing!
