A charming stay in the heart of Bled – highly recommended! Villa Alice is an absolute gem near Lake Bled. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of the water, yet wonderfully peaceful. One of the first things you’ll appreciate is the private parking – a real plus in a popular destination like Bled. Breakfast is a delight: fresh, local, and lovingly prepared. Every morning we enjoyed delicious regional products served in a cozy setting. The hostess is incredibly friendly and helpful, with an eye for detail and always ready to share tips about the area. The rooms and common areas are decorated with great taste and warmth, creating a true sense of home. You can tell this isn’t a standard hotel, but a place with soul and history – the beautifully renovated house radiates authenticity and charm. All around the property and garden, you’ll find quiet corners to relax with a book or simply enjoy nature. In short: Villa Alice offers a unique blend of comfort, character, and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Had the most amazing holiday driving n staying in the finest properties in Slovenia and meeting the finest and loving people.||Only exclusion-this property. Paid in advance on the hotel website and the lady was super non courteous on the phone when I called to confirm the booking. She told me that we never had a booking and as a result we had to book another hotel and lost 150 Euros!||We have the invoices/etc..but seems rather than probing the hotel owner replied it’s “Karma” on google reviews!||||I have shared the invoices/etc..don’t know how to take this forward..

Vila Alice is very close to Lake Bled. Rooms are nice and spacious. Would have been nice if the bathrooms were better lit up. M/s. Neh (not sure about the spelling) is very kind and sweet to talk to. Parking is available so that is amazing. Definitely would like to come back.

Superb location 10 min walk to the stunning lake.|We were welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady from the Philippines|Our room was large and spacious with window shutters to keep the heat out. No tv or air on, but that didn’t bother us.|Small cafe down the road for breakfast.|Would I recommend, yes. But not if you are infirm as your room might be up two flights of stairs

Worst experience i have ever had .|No aircon in attic room on a 35 degree day only a pathetic fan .|Were told we would have to pay etra 70 euro per night for portable aircon .|Owner the rudest person ive ever encountered .She is very shifty and a dodgy operater !|The intense heat and lack of circulation a breach of health and safety.|We left after 1 night despite paying for 2 it was so uncomfortable . Could not wait to get away from the horrid place and the arrogant owner who is prone to lying ! Beware ! |As well pool filthy and room not clean

Upon my arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Baby, who greeted me at the doorway with a smile. After a smooth registration process, I was guided to my duplex apartment. The space exceeded my expectations—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The lower level featured an inviting living and dining area, complete with a fully-equipped kitchen stocked with all necessary appliances. Upstairs, I found a cozy bedroom, a small sitting area, a balcony, and a bathroom. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, complemented by two plush pillows that made for a restful night's sleep. I especially appreciated the small, thoughtful touches—luxurious bathrobes, a mini fridge on the upper floor, and L’Occitane toiletries added a touch of indulgence. Breakfast was a feast, with a generous loaf of bread, two large jars of jam, eggs, cereal, milk, apple juice, pastries, and fresh fruit, offering plenty of variety. The location was perfect—just a five-minute walk to the lake and the nearby restaurants in the city center. A special mention to Baby, whose outstanding service attitude stood out. She consistently greeted me with a smile and was always available to assist with any queries or information I needed. Her warm, friendly, and approachable demeanor truly enhanced my stay. Without a doubt, this was the best accommodation I experienced during my week in Slovenia. However, I've to mention that the WiFi is not stable and the connection tends to drop off intermittently.

Superb stay here at Villa Alice Bled. Was greeted with a smile as soon as I arrived and felt like I could ask for anything needed throughout. Rooms and bed were comfy, and the location is PERFECT, being just minutes walk to the lakeside. I went off for a Hut to Hut hike and the owner was happy for me to leave my bag until I returned. I’m surprised at the number of negative reviews on here, as overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay at Vila Alice. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly, if a little too thorough explaining about how every light switch in the property worked! We found the (upgraded) room to be clean and tidy, and it was a nice space to use for our three night stay.|Our small gripes were no kettle in the room and there was no one around most of the time to ask any questions or get anything we may need, like an ironing board. Otherwise a very pleasant stay and would recommend to friends.
