I had a pleasant two-night stay last year. Villa Anna was better than the hotel I stayed at in Stockholm; it's one of my favorite hotels during Nordic vacation. The trade-off of not being near the train station is that this boutique hotel is located near the cathedral, the castle, the library, and other attractions. The breakfast was delicious; I should have bought a loaf of bread for my onwards journey.

We booked into Suite 301.|Wow!|Simply Wow!|The hotel staff were so friendly and receptive.|The suite had a fantastic bathroom, sauna and separate WC.|The cold breakfast buffet is a small perfect selection and you can order as much as you want from the freshly prepared warm menu.|The evening meal (4 course ) was ample for us and the wine recommendation was perfectly matched.|Thank you Villa Anna!

Note: this review is just about the restaurant We had a wonderful tasting menu experience. The food and service was absolutely amazing Pro tip: come on a weekday as the tasting menu is 100 kr less. We had most of the restaurant to ourselves on a Thursday date night

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet. Coffee and hot food served to the table. Not much to choose from, but the quality of the things that was served was good. I especially enjoyed the french toast. Lunch: Great service and beautiful atmosphere. It felt as if I was here for a treat even though I was about to "just grab some lunch". The price is higher than other places, but I would say that it is great place if you want to bring your family/friends to a nice lunch. The schnitzel was not the best I had, but well made. The creme brulee was great. Don't forget their freshly ground coffee either! The lunch was fully booked when we visited, so it is good to book the lunch in beforehand if you want to make sure that they will have a seat for you.

First time in Uppsala and we chose this hotel just after careful research! And we were not wrong!|Absolute jewel among swedish hotels!|Beautiful building..very nice and elegant rooms! Excellent beds and bathrooms!|Completely silent even though there were two churches quite under the window!|We could not hope for more!|The breakfast was quite limited but service excellent!|When in Uppsala this is THE hotel!

Small and charming boutique hotel. Very nice rooms, although the TV did not work properly and the cleaning was less than perfect. Nice high quality breakfast buffet but with limited selection. Free parking and great location close to the cathedral.

Fantastic service and food despite we were 100 persons for a Christmas dinner.
