From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped by a unique atmosphere where art, style, and class blend seamlessly. Every corner of the villa feels like a work of art, offering spaces to revel in its details—whether through the carefully curated books, exquisite paintings, or captivating photographs. The personality of Villa Augustine is a true reflection of its owner, Willem Smit, who has masterfully crafted a home away from home with exclusive decor and impeccable taste. Every element in the villa speaks to his passion for art and his remarkable ability to mix styles with effortless elegance. A special mention goes to the incredible team led by Nadir, along with Doha and Ahmed, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Their hospitality, discretion, and attention to detail were nothing short of outstanding, making us feel not just like guests but like part of an extended family. In summary, Villa Augustine is more than just a place to stay—it’s a destination in itself. A sanctuary where every detail is designed to offer moments of peace and delight. Without a doubt, this is a place we will return to time and time again.

We stayed five nights at Villa Augustine and it was exceptional in every way. Willem Smit has created a beautiful space that feels so much like home we didn't want to leave. The rooms are spacious and filled with fantastic art. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The staff is warm, attentive, and kind. The location is perfect. Before arrival we received a detailed email from Willem with excellent restaurant recommendations and must-see points of interest. Villa Augustine is a treasure.

The house is filled with exquisite artwork, creating an inspirational and elegant atmosphere. The owner and designer has crafted an exceptional experience with his unparalleled attention to detail. His talent shines through in every aspect of the villa. The staff, led by Nadir, provides attentive and thoughtful service. Their caring approach, coupled with delicious breakfasts on the roof, enhances the overall stay. For those seeking a luxurious and personalized experience in Tangier, Villa Augustine is an absolute must-visit. It’s more than just accommodation; it’s a celebration of art, design, and Moroccan hospitality.

We spent a whole week at the beautiful Villa Augustine. I travel a lot for business and pleasure and I have to admit that it was one of the best places I have stayed in. It provides a direct feeling of vacation, tranquility. So, you could easily spend the whole day in the villa without missing anything. The accommodation is beautiful. However, the staff on site made all the difference. Morocco is known for its hospitality, but the staff here were exceptional, courteous, helpful and you immediately felt that this was an authentic pleasure. I had not experienced it like this before. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and always prepared from regional food. Depending on the weather, breakfast can take place on the roof or in the large living area. The decor was an impeccable blend of elegance and creativity, showcasing the intricate designs and vibrant colors characteristic of Moroccan artisanship. The ambiance of the place was simply enchanting. Soft, warm lighting complemented the exquisite decor, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. It felt like a perfect fusion of modern chic and timeless Moroccan charm, with every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall aesthetic. Traditional Moroccan lanterns cast beautiful patterns on the walls, and the rich textures of handwoven rugs added a cozy, authentic touch. What truly stood out was the vibe of the place. It was vibrant yet tranquil, lively yet peaceful. The subtle background music, the fragrant aroma of fresh flowers, and the comfortable seating arrangements all contributed to a sense of relaxed sophistication. Spending the night here was an absolute joy. The combination of beautiful Moroccan art, stylish decor, and an incredible vibe made it a truly memorable experience. If you ever get the chance to visit, I highly recommend it – this place is a true gem, a perfect blend of Moroccan elegance and modern comfort!

As a single female traveler I have never felt more pampered and safe as I did during my stay at Villa Augustine. My room was a dream, with fresh linnen, a copper bath, fireplace and beautiful art on every wall. The owner Mr Smit is super nice and knows all the best places to visit. Nadir and the rest of the staff are the sweetest people that made me feel welcome and safe. The villa is perfectly situated; walking distance to the old centre in a quiet residential area. Love love loved my stay!

What a beatiful place this is! Truly fantastic interior; every room is styled with eye for detail by the owner. Art and design everywhere, often from maroccan artists. We enjoyed the amazing sea view when having breakfast or an afternoon drink on the rooftop terrace. Super friendly crew led by Nadir that was fully dedicated to make it a memorable stay for us, making us feel at home from the minute we arrived. 5 min walking distance from the medina and restaurants. We will definitely come back when in Tangier!

I have had the chance to stay in several exceptional places but never as good as Villa Augustine : very elegant and beautiful, excellent location (we walked every evening to a different restaurant), cosy and so welcoming (thanks to Nadir and the other members of the staff). I will certainly come back with friends, family or for a romantic stay : I can only recommand Villa Augustine for a stay in Tangiers. Thanks again, Marion
