I RARELY leave reviews—but after staying at Villa Bordeaux in Santorini, I felt like I absolutely had to. This was, hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
We stayed in the Terra Suite, and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. Huge thank you to Abi, Valerios, Spiros, and Miriam, as well as the rest of the incredible staff, for making us feel completely taken care of every step of the way. They helped with our bags, brought us special treats throughout our stay, and even checked on us while we were tanning just to make sure we didn’t burn! THAT’S how much they care about their guests.
The pool area was absolutely stunning, with the most breathtaking view in all of Santorini. We actually canceled a few of our plans just to spend more time soaking it all in. No other “amazing view” on the island even came close. The staff regularly came by to check on us and take drink orders—it felt like a true luxury experience, but with such a personal touch.
The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Fira, just steps from all the shops and restaurants, yet still private and peaceful. And one tip: be sure to make a reservation at La Colline, the fine dining restaurant attached to the Villa. You’ll get to enjoy a sunset dinner with one of the best views in the world.
If I could leave 6 out of 5 stars, I would. Villa Bordeaux isn’t just a place to stay—it’s something you’ll remember forever.
