Villa Bunga Hotel & Spa, Seminyak

This was a great value stay, we only stayed for one night to catch up with friends. It’s an easy walk to lots of bars and restaurants. For being in a busy area i found the room nice and quiet. They also provide face clothes 🤣 which is not that common, and they have water and a microwave available in the dining area.

A great hotel for an affordable price. The beach is within walking distance, though it’s a bit of a trek, so renting a scooter is a good idea. The pool is clean and well-maintained, but it only gets direct sunlight in the morning until midday. The staff is friendly and professional, ensuring your room is cleaned daily with fresh towels provided.

Villa Bunga is a budget-friendly hotel in Canggu, but it’s a bit outdated, especially when it comes to the bathrooms. the bathrooms feel old and could use some renovations. While the rooms are generally clean and the location is convenient, the older facilities might not be for everyone. If you’re looking for an affordable stay and don’t mind a more rustic feel, it could still be a decent option.

Great price on booking.com, room was super clean and modern, bed was comfy and the pool was great. Had a mini fridge, kettle and free water refill. Would recommend!

I was a bit hesitant before booking, but once I arrived at the villa, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly kind, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is perfect, and the WiFi is fast. Overall, it’s excellent value for the price!

First of all, the food here is to die for! From breakfast to dinner, it was absolutely mouthwatering. I had English breakfast in the morning and loved it. The dinner platters were also great. The hotel is a bit old compared to the shiny ones around, but their service makes up for it. The staff was very polite, helpful and well-behaved. It's not crowed, so that's a plus for a quite holiday. The poolside dining is another addition for a peaceful morning or evening meal. Yes, it is not the most luxurious hotel with perfect rooms with views. But the rooms and toilets were very clean and tidy, and I was enjoying views outside all day, so didn't exactly feel the need to have a room with a view. The location was good and the price was very reasonable with amazing (and free) breakfast. All in all, highly recommended!

Great hotel for fairly cheap price. The distance to the beach is walkable but a bit far. Rent a scooter. The pool is nice and clean, although the pool area only had sunlight during the morning until 12. The staff is nice and professional, and cleans your room every day with new towles etc. We stayed in one of the back rooms which had a fairly noisy air-condition, which made it a little hard to fall asleep, but we changed rooms and got one with a newer AC. The included breakfast (although not a buffet) is extremely good. Can highly recommend the salmon bagel!

It is very run down. Lovely staff of course, the honeybees breakfast is great and the coffee and juices are lovely and very cheap. The shower has no pressure and needs cleaning, also there is no mix of hot and cold water to make it warm- it's just piping hot- unusable and you can't even just have a cold shower- it only trickles out on cold! 🙁 The pool and garden is nice- loose tiles on the pool floor all over. Location is quite good, close to restaurants. Cleaning was efficient every morning with 2 bt of water provided. I would not stay again because it's too run down and the showers are bad.
