Villa Christina

Beautiful and unassuming spot, about 10 minutes walk from Keri Beach. Perfect service, spotless and nice (but simple) accommodation, nice pool in nice surroundings and very good place to take your small children. Bonus points for the abundance of domestic animals on site, dogs and very friendly cats :) ||Really can't fault one thing in this place, will definitely look at coming back another year!

We came across this accommodation just by searching the internet as it doesnt appear to be linked with any UK holiday companies - we were glad of that! We had a maisonette which was superb, spacious, spotless and two large balconies. Very comfortable, cleaned every day except Sunday - they even did our dishes! the owner Dimitris is very helpful & charming. Swimming pool also spotless & well maintained.The resort itself is lovely, very quiet, picturesque, but still plenty of tavernas & restaurants etc. Highly recommend this place.

Villa Christina is always a place to go and relax, whenever I visit Zakynthos. It's very peaceful, quiet, away from any loud noises, amongst many olive trees, lemon trees and many beautiful flowers. The swimming pool is top marks! The place is always clean, the rooms are very clean too and each room has all that you need on a summer's holiday. The owner, Dimitris, is always pleasant and very helpful. Just ask him what you need and he will try his best to help out. No task is too big for him. Walking to the crystal clear sea is only 10 minutes slow walk from the villa and there is a number of nice restaurants in the local area to eat. God's willing, I will be back next summer. We have been going to Villa Christina for the past 5 years and will probably will for the years to come! It is an absolute hidden GEM! The owner Dimitris is extremely helpful and he will do everything he can to ensure all his guests are happy and feeling relaxed. Each apartment is well spaced [depending the number of different rooms you are renting-some have bunks beds for more space to move about] and everything is in the middle of ancient olive trees, lemon trees and loads of flowers. The swimming pool is excellent and the place is so beautiful. Hardly any noise [especially during night time]. There is a satellite TV room and a games room. Dimitris can also arrange a BBQ outside. You just have to go to believe it. We have met people there who have been going for the past 20 years and will simply not change! It is that good!! There are supermarkets nearby to do your shopping and one of them is also a bakery [opposite the petrol station]. They bake fresh bread every morning and some delicious croissants, too!

On our third trip to Zakinthos we found this hidden gem by mistake as it's not advertised on English bookings sites. We had a 2-bedroom apartment and it was fantastic! The rooms we huge|With 3 bathrooms and 3 lots of air con! The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. The swimming pool and outdoor areas were very well maintained and clean. Dimitris along with his sister went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We will definitely be coming back when in Zakinthos again!

We stayed for 5 days at Villa Christina and we completely loved it! Extremely clean, spacious rooms, even the standard ones, with large balcony and wonderful view to the well-kept olive garden. At the night, the only that you could hear was the slight wind through the leaves- absolute amazing. Keri Lake is very charming, though the beach itself accounts not for the top-5 of the island. For that, you have to go either to the north or to Gerakas beach at the southeast. However, someone can eat really well and cheap enough in the nearby Keri village. ||All together, a wonderful stay. Not only we would recommend the hotel to everyone wanting to visit Zakynthos, but we ourselves would not think staying anywhere else in case of returning to the island!

Nice place with a great pool. We were looking for something quiet and relaxing and we got it. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants. There was a little bakery down the where I was able to pick up breakfast pastries. The only place with good wifi was near the front desk, it made face timing our family in the US a bit awkward but we got over it

We loved everything about Villa Christina as well as its perfect location - within walking distance to the beach, bakery and small grocery store, taverns on the shore, boat rental / short boat ride to turtle island as well as to the Keri Caves with its white coves and crystal clear, turquoise blue water (our favorite find on the entire island! A must see! Better than shipwreck beach!)||Our apartment/studio was simple but clean and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on our big balcony in the mornings and a glass of wine at night while listening to the soothing sound of the chickadees that were hiding in the many lush olive trees. ||Our kids loved playing with the kittens and the puppy, and always stopped by the outdoor birdcage to say hi to the parakeets on the way to the pool.||There were beautiful flowers and cacti everywhere, lovingly cared for by Dimitri and his wife who live on the property. ||There is a self serve kiosk to get drinks and ice cream, a library with lots of books, magazines and board games as well as a cozy couch area with TV.||Snorkels, goggles, flippers, beach umbrellas, and some beach toys are available to use free of charge - just make sure you return everything. ||Villa Christina truly makes you feel at home and makes you want to come back again!||||||||
