Touring this garden was one of the highlights of our time in Ravello. It was a very hot day and the shaded gardens provided a nice respite. The views are spectacular. The layout and design is very well executed. Overall, a lovely way to spend a couple hours.

I loved visiting Villa Cimbrone Gardens. The weather was also bright and sunny and it really made everything look fresh and romantic. They also provide you a leaflet so you can read about the pieces being there, all in all a great experience. The wind makes a beautiful sound through the trees, it's great to visit in spring.

A lovely and serene place on the top of the hills. To reach this place, you need to take a local transport like the Sita bus or your car. After reaching the hub, you need to walk your way to the villa. One can easily get mistaken by the maps route that takes a downhill route from the hub. This route is very long and a tedious track to this place. There is a direct route via plain land that takes you to the villa within less than 10 mins. During winters, you get less food options and open restaurants around this place, so it’s better to carry some food as you might spend some time here. You can also spend some quality time with lush green gardens, and the beautiful cliff with the famous figures overlooking the vast sea. It’s better to carry some shades as the sun hits hard there.

Amazing place in the heart of charming Ravello. Villa Cimbrone offers a unique experience that stays with you long after your visit. Perfect and stunning view to Amalfi Coast and Mediterranean sea. Lovely gardens and architecture and classic statues.

Google
Truly one of the most breathtaking places on this planet. The villa, the gardens, and especially the view from the Infinity Terrace — absolutely unforgettable. A must-visit if you're anywhere near Ravello. Don’t miss it.

Google

Google
Wonderful gardens. This is a MUST if you’re in Ravello. For 10€ you get the best Amalfi views and a beautiful garden. Take your time to soak in the dolce vita.

Visited the gardens as part of my Amalfi day tour, was quite disappointed with the gardens, which is not as well maintained as the photos show. Perhaps i came during the wrong season but I'm not sure. And comparing this to some free to enter parks and gardens in London, this is pathetic. The weather was crap as well and we couldn't see any views of the coastline. All in all, no views, and a small, poorly maintained gardens for €10. A letdown for sure. They should reconsider reducing the entry price during poor weather and off seasons.

Yelp
For 10eu, you can experience spectacular views in a beautiful garden setting. The pics from this location were so worth it. We visited in May so many of the flowers were not in bloom, however, the statues, trellises, buildings, and greenery were equally beautiful. There are many things to enjoy in a garden year round. Ravello is a lovely little town so after the garden, check out some shops and stop for a cappuccino.

Yelp
Amazing hotel, amazing views, amazing garden, and amazing drinks. If you are a hotel guest and are lucky enough to have Lucas as your bartender, take the time to watch him ply his trade

Yelp
Double check everything. Wonderful room and stay. Beautiful gardens and we enjoyed the food. Staff inspires confidence in their work - Until a mistake happens - then the management puts the blame on you. We had a baggage mishap that was clearly their fault. They mixed our bags with another family when it came time to leave and we noticed a bag in our lot that did not belong to us. We flagged it but did not realize that one of our bags was with the other family. We drove off and when we found the mistake the manager said "we never make mistakes with bags" and " it was our responsibility to account for things. Made us pay to come back on our last day to get it costing significant money and time. If you read any negative review for them on Trip Advisor you'll see the same behavior - if there is a problem blame the guest. Arrogant and fragile behavior on behalf of management - setting up a house of cards for themselves. There are better places to stay. Visit the gardens then go back to a place where you're not treated poorly

Yelp
Hmmmmm to be very honest I'm kind of disappointed because this place is a Michelin star place and I had very high expectations of it. A friend of ours recommended this place while we were on our trip and I looked up this restaurant and the whole place and I was counting down the moments until I got to see it in person. I'm giving it a three star because the hotel and the whole place is absolutely stunning and heavenly that I can't even describe it in words. The garden and the restaurant are beautifully designed you will feel like you are walking in a little heaven on earth. The staff were one of the friendliest staff I had seen before, they immediately sat us down at a really nice table on the terrace with a breathtaking view. Now let's talk about why I'm giving it a three star. Again as a Michelin star restaurant I had very high expectations of the food. I ordered a pasta dish and of course why not I am in Italy. My pasta had absolutely no taste I had to add so much salt and pepper to it to be able to eat it. I know a lot of pasta dishes in Italy are Al Dente but this was AL DENTE DENTE like plasticky feeling. It was so hard to bite each piece. We were there with another couple so the four of us order a different dishes but my friend also ordered the same exact thing as mine. It was time to get the desert and we ordered two dessert for the whole table. I couldn't hold it in anymore so I asked everyone how they felt about their food and everyone just said how unhappy they were with the taste of the food. My friend said that her pasta was extremely tasteless and she also said the same thing about the pasta feeling very plasticky. We asked the guys and both of them Felt unhappy with their food. The dessert was OK I would give it a 4/10 but the food definitely 2/10 not even a 2 maybe. So sad. Hmmm very disappointing

Yelp
We ate lunch at Mediterraneo which we found to be excellent in terms of food, service, availability of reservations and beauty of surroundings. Had the best eggplant parmesan, lemon risotto, and a few other dishes recommended by our lovely waitress. Wish we had space for the delish desserts we saw...we'll try those next time. One of our best meals on our trip to Italy. I know that they have a fancy restaurant Fluto de Pan which is available in the evening but if you want to do something less fancy and with fresh local ingredients this is the place to go! An excellent way to spend a very hot afternoon eating under a cool shade on the balcony overlooking some of the most jaw dropping views of Amalfi. Go here, and afterwards walk in the gardens and see some of the most iconic views of Ravello captured for decades on film. Go here you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Villa Cimbrone is one of the most beautiful settings I've ever been to on this planet. It's a bit of a walk through town to get to, but the architecture, gardens and views, especially from the Terrace of Infinity, are one of a kind. I would love to return someday and actually stay at their hotel

Yelp
This review is for the Gardens at Villa Cimbrone which are stunning and a lovely way to spend a day outside enjoying the beautiful views. I did this as a day trip from Positano and the views along the way are almost as stunning as the gardens. Know before you go that there are a ton of stairs and climbing so this is not for anyone who has difficulty walking. But if you can do the walking and stair climbing, it is definitely worth it. You are dropped or can park in the town area where the plaza hosts plenty of places to eat, drink, shop or just sit and enjoy the people watching. Follow the signs and walk a ways and you will find yourself at the Garden of Villa Cimbrone. Used for weddings, and other special events, the grounds are simply gorgeous no matter what time of the year you go. They are a great example of English gardens in the mediterranean! And if you follow the map you will eventually end of at the "Terrace of Infinity" which is spectacular with it's views of the sea. The map that they give you will walk you thorough 12 different points in the garden. There is an entrance fee to get in but it is nominal. And if you need a restroom-they are located at the entrance so you may want to pop in there before heading out. A beautiful way to enjoy the Amalfi Coast!

Yelp
Cute little garden but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. It's a hike to get to and you can cover the full garden in about 15-20 minutes. It does have a beautiful lookout point once you get there. Although youll get beautiful views anywhere in ravello.

Yelp
Gorgeous, hidden gem. Well worth a visit. There is a little cafe in addition to the Michelin star restaurant.

Yelp
Beautiful. Nothing but. The views I have seen in art work by the greats. The Villa is amazing - the restuarant service - not so good. I started with the smoked Scottish salmon then to the filet and porcini mushrooms. Excellent! The problem was the service - for such a beautiful place, the service was lacking. Maybe an employee quit, I don't know but there were omissions, a knife here, uncleared bowls there - I just expect more.

Yelp
Even in late October, where most of the flowers had retired for the season, Villa Cimbrone is a worthwhile expenditure of 7 euros and an hour of your time. The large formal gardens are very well tended, peaceful, serene, ... (you make up some more adjectives). The high point is the Infinity View which is a sharp drop off directly down to the Mediterranean - yes they have a small wall to keep you from tragedy when taking a selfie. The views from there are definitely stunning. The Villa is about a 0.5-1.0 km walk from town; just follow the signs or guess occasionally.

Yelp
This place is almost unreal. The grounds are the best and possible alone worth visiting. Hard to beat setting no doubt. But the staff absolutely sucked. Super small hotel at 19 rooms so small scale friendly service must be in order for a 5 star place. The guy managing the pool drinks and food would not get off his rear and was very rude. Over 90 degees and you had to go find him for a warm water. Our second day he literally told us the other restaurant on site had better food so not to seek him. Restaurant and lobby staff were mixed but most were cold and rude. A real turn off off. Oh and the ac was broken and our suite was 26c or 79f the whole time and they blew off any complaints. Other guests voiced the same concern. The physical place was a 10/10. The stay was not enjoyable because the staff ruined it. Stay nearby at a friendly well run hotel and just visit Villa Cimbrone for a small fee

Yelp
Villa Cimbrone is a place to see before you die! I cannot say enough beautiful things about this place. Everything was amazing. The restaurant was amazing, best bellini on the entire planet along with yummy dishes.

Yelp
Location and grounds are beautiful. The gardens especially are wonderful v quiet despite the tourists and the views are unparalleled. It does have a lot of stairs so be prepared for a workout. Service is mediocre as it ranges. The breakfast service is very attentive and the front desk as well, always helpful as they arranged for breakfast to be a little earlier when we had to leave for Capri. The breakfast buffet includes eggs, bacon, sausage fruit dry cereals and pastries. The coffee and teas are superb. The terrace is also great for reading and relaxing. It was a bit cold to use the pool but it looked heavenly. We ate at the restaurant where the food was ok. The service was atrocious at best as we were actually insulted by the maître d'. We had traveled all day to reach the hotel and during the selection we wanted to keep it light so chose not to have the tasting menu. Also I am in my second trimester so not all food is appetizing. My boyfriend mentioned that vegetables would be great such as a salad and he was told by the maître d' that a Michelin star restaurant does not serve salad. His attitude was patronizing and almost disdainful as if we were not good enough to eat at the restaurant because we were not drinking wine and had not chosen the tasting menu. In addition, our AC did not work in our room (#31) so be sure to ask about this as the evenings can be quite stifling and there are Mosquitos (which if you have O positive blood and are pregnant means you are the buffet) opening the balcony is not an option.

Yelp
The view is beautiful and it has some lovely areas throughout with flowers. It's $7 to go in so not so bad.
