Villa Claudia Hotel Cannes

We stayed at Villa Claudia a couple of weeks ago (October 2024) and we loved it! Great location, you are in the heart of Cannes and just a short block from three great restaurants. The owner and his wife are fantastic people and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable, the bed linens thick, and the bathroom spacious. Continental breakfast is delicious. Recently renovated and looking good! Parking on the premises a big plus. Highly recommend it!

If ever one could seek to find a typical Cannes villa from days gone by, filled with beautiful French art and large prints of Hollywood icons in all their splendour, gorgeous rooms with balconies surrounded by an array of magnificent flowers, the gardens lit by strategically placed lighting, and then have the amazing good fortune to actually stay in this wonderful place, I think we would all believe we were in Paradise. But this Shangri-la really does exist, set just a ten minute walk from the seafront, the famous promenade of Le Croisette, and five minutes from the main shopping street in Cannes. Villa Claudia. Remember the name and please, please ensure you book a stay there. We spent a week there and my wife cried her eyes out as we drove away at the end. Villa Claudia is perfect and unmissable and I say that as someone who has visited 109 countries. The family who run Villa Claudia and staff are amazing and we feel we have friends for life. But the owner, Christoph, is in a totally different class. Nothing is too much trouble for him. He collects fresh bread in the early hours, serves a stunning breakfast to guests and is there to share a glass or two of wine at 10pm. A truly lovely and wonderful person. But please don't just take our word for it. Find out for yourself. It will be the best holiday ever.

A wonderful villa style hotel, small enough to have a very personal touch by the very caring and helpful owner, Christophe who is always on hand. Worth having a mid range room or above although ground floor room is okay, especially if your out and about all day. Location is excellent, short walk to the town, the beach and harbour. Train station a short walk and excellent links to Antibes (12 minutes) and Monte Carlo (1 hour 5 minutes). Would definitely recommend and will hopefully return.

End of May 2024 we stayed a few days at Villa Claudia. Thanks to Christoph we enjoyed this stay from the very first moment. He gave us a warm-hearted welcome and supported us with perfect tips regarding sightseeing and restaurants. The room was lovely, the breakfast great and there was enough space to park the car. The city is near and can be reached easily by foot. Thanks Christoph, our stay at Villa Claudia was great.

We enjoyed our two night stay. Convenient for the sea front and a ten minute walk from the railway station. Newly refurbished and nice and clean.||The owner and the staff were on hand to provide helpful advice. ||Thank you for your kind hospitality.

It is a villa converted into a hotel, neighboring a bryante youth hostel,|I think the renovation dates back 7 years and that renovation work is to be expected in the rooms, few cupboards, creaky doors, too few television channels, real disappointment for breakfast with industrial products like fruit juices, we would like homemade dishes. you are lucky to have a pretty garden but what a shame to still try to do business by parking your customers' cars there, it is not ecological and there were several of us customers who found it disturbing when you are lucky enough to have a beautiful garden.|We did not have the chance to see the management during our short stay but at really high prices compared to the noisy proximity of the grand boulevard.

Had a very good stay at this hotel. The rooms are cosy and well decorated. The hotel is close to the center, basically in the center. The owners were really friendly and made me feel welcome. There’s limited parking space on site, it was nice to have it. If I have the chance, I will definitely be back!

We had opted for this hotel because the description says "excellent location" except that the hotel is on the edge of a large boulevard that is very noisy because of a lot of cars, it was renovated in 2017 but it is 2024, our room would deserve a nice renovation to be up to date with today's trends.|The value for money is not correct, the bedding is no longer of good quality and it also deserves to be renovated. We preferred not to extend our stay because we also had doubts about hygiene. The reception staff was not pleasant with us. It is a bad memory

The owners are very nice. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't so great. Too old and outdated. Simply covering with paint, won't do. The bathrooms were pretty sad with the leaking water, rust everywhere, bathroom doors lacking the latch to stay closed. Although, the ladies "cleaned", I found hair and a nice bunch of dust cloud in the corner next to my nightstand and lots of hair on the floor in the bathroom. The location was great. Plenty if parking outside and some inside. Both for an additional pay. They did offer breakfast, but we preferred to get fresh croissants across the way. A HUGE minus is no elevator. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was pretty hard to carry our stuff up and then down. Thankfully, Christophe helped with bringing some cases up.

Staying at Villa Claudia was an amazing experience. The location is unbeatable, and the rooms are very nice. My favorite was the outdoor patio and the reception.

The owner and receptionist were very nice and the rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and an overall very cute place. It is literally a 5 ish minute walk to the main city center. Great location. Parking and breakfast are available but you must pay a separate price so not included. Overall a nice experience

Villa Claudia is probably one ofthe sweetest places in Cannes...We had a very good time there Sept. 23d- Sept. 30th 2019. It has been our 4th time in Cote d' Azur, but we never before had a place like this. Excellent service ina very nice and charming boutique hotel. The Villa is completely renovated and Christophe the owner cares extremely well about everything. We took our breakfast in the very nice breakfast room inside the hotel, but you also have a very charming breakfast in the nice terrasse outside. Although the Villa is located next to a very loud street with a lot of traffic there is no problem with traffic noice. The Location of the hotel is more than perfect. 5-10 min walking distance to the station and to Croisette as well less than 10 minutes. There are plenty of supermarkets and little shops around the hotel where you can get everything you need. The next daily market is located in 5 minutes walking distance, a few restaurants around, the most restaurants and old harbour of Cannes in 15-20 minutes walking distance.
