We absolutely loved this place. We booked a standard bungalow and delighted with the indoor/outdoor layout. The bottom floor had an open air shower and WC with a stone floor and a little Buddha in the corner. The living area was open to the outdoors, with a sofa and a hammock and a sweet little backyard in which we watched butterflies and birds. The downstairs area also included a small kitchen and breakfast area.||The air-conditioned bedroom was upstairs with a half bath. The bed was quite comfortable and was enclosed by mosquito netting. We spent much of our idle time here.||Mosquitoes are a problem in Bali, and the staff did a lot to discourage the mosquitoes. There were mosquito coils lit downstairs every night and packets of mosquito discouraging lotion on the coffee table for us to use. We ended up buying a bottle of mosquito spray for easier application.||Our standard bungalow didn't include its own pool, but the common pool area was quite nice. I actually don't usually use hotel pools, but this one was so inviting, my husband and I took a dip a few times.||The hotel is a little out of the way, down some small alleys, but there is a back gate that offers a short walk to the nearby beach. There are convenience stores and many souvenir shops nearby.||I would definitely stay at Villa Coco again the next time we're in Denpasar.
