Villa Cordevigo (Verona, Veneto) 7 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Half an hour’s drive up the road from Verona is Villa Cordevigo, a classic Venetian country estate in the hills above Lake Garda. Right from the entrance it’s clear what you’re in for. After driving through the countryside, you make your way toward the villa by way of a long gravel road lined with ancient cypress trees, until the trees part to reveal the traditional stucco facade of the 18th-century building. In short, it’s that combination of pastoral tranquility and old-world sophistication that Italy does so well — and all the better that it’s on a vineyard estate in the Veneto, where the crowds are a bit thinner than in some of Italy’s other idyllic corners." - Tablet Hotels

Very beautiful environment and lovely and spacious room! We booked the Gaudenzia Suite, and I highly recommend splurging on this lovely room. Very comfortable and a wonderful and very spacious bathroom -- especially the large jacuzzi tub, in addition to the shower. The bed was very comfortable as well. The property is lovely - although we did not have so much time to explore as we would have liked since we spent much of our time driving around the lake. I also had a manicure, which was very nice. |Before we arrived we contacted the hotel several times with requests and questions and they always answered immediately, which we very much appreciated. We dined outside the property on our first night and they were so gracious to arrange a car to take us to the restaurant, and to wait for us to escort us back. |The breakfast is lovely and plenty of food!|However, the real treat is their 1-star restaurant -- Osoleta. What an exceptional meal in every way - we particularly enjoyed the water menu! But everything was absolutely amazing. We are just sorry we did not stay one additional night.

We travel a good amount every year and on this trip, we split 12 days across 3 hotels around Italy. This, by far, was one of the best overall hotels we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, ever. Every detail, staff interaction, meal, and room were outstanding. Would recommend eating on the terrace after checking in as the lunch/snack menu was terrific and the pizza was one of the best we’ve had. My only suggestion would be to opt for an upgraded room as we went ‘budget’ room and it was tiny. Even still, every detail and furnish was outstanding - and the shower was one of the best we’ve ever used.

I've stayed here 4 times and each time in a different room. Every time was amazing. It is super cool feeling like your in a little village just within the property itself. Such beautiful buildings and grounds. There is a rustic/antique nature to some of the rooms in feel, but they are absolutely comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is great as well. 5 stars.

Our recent stay at this exceptional resort was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury and attentive service. Our host was the Moroccan lady receptionist and she was overjoyed with every new guest. The amount of passion in her welcome was hard to describe. Culinary Excellence: The resort boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Each dish was a masterpiece, showcasing the chef’s creativity and commitment to excellence. The other fine dining venue on the property offered equally impressive cuisine, ensuring that every meal was a delight. Breathtaking Setting: Situated on a picturesque wine estate, the resort spans from a serene plateau to elevated grounds offering stunning views of the nearby lake. Morning walks through the lush vineyards and towering trees became a cherished ritual, invigorating us for the day ahead. Luxurious Accommodations: Our suite was the epitome of comfort and elegance. The private terrace provided a perfect spot for sunbathing, while the warm jacuzzi offered a soothing retreat after a day of exploration. The attention to detail in the room’s design and amenities ensured a restful and indulgent stay. Impeccable Service: The staff’s dedication to guest satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Their professionalism and warmth enhanced our experience, making us feel truly valued and cared for. In summary, this resort seamlessly combines natural beauty, world-class dining, and exceptional hospitality to create a truly memorable getaway. We look forward to returning and reliving the magic of this remarkable destination.

Really lovely luxury property near Lake Garda with a one michelin star restaurant on site. Upon arrival we were treated beautifully by the staff, after driving up the stunning driveway, they came and got us from the parking in a golf cart to take our bags and selves to check-in. The suite was not ready, but we went to have lunch in the outdoor, more casual restaurant. It was good, some nice dishes and solid wine made on property - I personally enjoyed it a lot, not gourmet - but that was saved for dinner.||We were escorted to our room after lunch and it was quite nice, large suite with a beautiful shower and nice tub. We then went swimming a bit later in the afternoon and hat a spritz - what views, it screams Italy!||The dinner was splendid and walking back slightly tipsy (or very) to our room was so much better than any other way of getting home after a fancy dinner. ||I wish we stayed longer, but we have many places to go - next time though I would! However, this stay wasn't without errors. The toilet paper holder in the room was slightly broken, there was no body lotion in the room, and there could have been more water readily provided to the room.

Do the cooking class experience with Paulo at Nonna’s house. It was amazing. And Paulo is simply one of the best human beings! We also did a full tasting of their estate wines and that was awesome too! Great location. Excellent service! Would come back here again for sure!

𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 – 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝟓-𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. The way this hotel treats its clients when something goes wrong is unacceptable, especially for a place that positions itself as a 5-star Relais property. I accidentally left behind some personal belongings, and it took them hours to even send someone to check the room. By the time they did, it was too late. I had to speak to four different staff members — only the last one actually called back. The others gave vague reassurances like “We’ll look into it,” and then simply disappeared. In the end, they claimed they found nothing. So either someone threw my things away, or someone on the staff decided to keep them — neither is a good look for a luxury hotel. There are many beautiful places in Italy where you’ll actually be treated with care and professionalism. I highly recommend Relais Santa Elena or Tenuta D’Arbia instead — both offer real hospitality, unlike what I experienced here.

Our stay at Villa Cordevigo was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived driving up the long road, we were captivated by the beauty of the property, which perfectly combines historic charm with modern luxury; the gardens are just stunning. The villa itself is surrounded by lush vineyards and offering serene views that make it feel like a true escape away from the hustle and bustle of lake garda. We went in November and could just imagine laying beside the pool in summer enjoy the sun. ||||The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and impeccably clean. We particularly enjoyed the refreshing bathroom toiletries. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel like we were the only guests there. We also enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which offered a fantastic selection of local wines and delicious meals—perfect after a day exploring the nearby Lake Garda.||||The location is ideal for anyone looking to relax while still being close enough to visit the charming towns around the lake. We can’t recommend Villa Cordevigo enough for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. We will definitely be returning!
