Our arrival was a little disjointed as we'd missed the email from the owner but once we paid he rang and spoke to us. He told us how to get into the apartment which was very easy once we knew. Everything was extremely clean and looked new. We liked it so much we were wishing we'd booked for more than one night. The bed was comfortable, the linens good quality. The bathroom was super clean and the shower excellent. The tea and coffee making centre was perfect with chocolates and biscuits. There were only two things that I could say were not perfect: 1. The hairdryer, 2. The bedside tables. The hairdryer was ok for a travel one but if a good one was in the wardrobe it would be great. The bedside tables were about 12cm x 20cm and for me there wasn't room for my drink, specs, phone and book. I got round it by using the coffee table. Overall this apartment is super. Thank you

Superb quality - the bed, the bed linen, all the furnishings, a kitchen that is swoon-worthy. Wonderful to have helpful instructions provided in a creative way, from helpful labels on the dishwasher, to a very creative TV remote control companion. We stayed in Studio 1 Côté Cour which has its own parking space. the location was so convenient for everything old town Angoulême has to offer. Can't wait to return.

After a week of traveling, hands down this was our favorite hotel. We rented the apartment because we were a couple and a friend traveling together for a wedding. Absolutely perfect. Super clean, spacious rooms. Oliver was very kind. 10/10 would stay again. Don’t look anywhere else.

I found this place by accident and I am so glad I did! The refurbishment of the property is superb and sympathetic to the age of the building. Everything is spotlessly clean and what we really liked was that the owners have concentrated their investment on the things that guests will appreciate - the air conditioning, the fabulous bathroom, the top quality bed and of course the B & O TV. The location is wonderful and there's loads of parking nearby. A perfect choice!

Location was excellent, and quiet. The host was lovely, and immediately reactive. When we had a problem with the electric key he was there in less than five minutes. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and intelligently designed. It was fully equipped with high-end appliances and oh-so cozy. We have stayed in many similar hotel/apartments in at least five countries, and this was absolutely the best. There is absolutely nothing to fault, it exceeded our expectations. I don't know if I will ever go back to Angouleme, but if I do, this is the only place I will stay. Splendid!

Fantastic, beautifully restored Apartment-hotel in the center of town. Our studio apartment was state of the art and had everything you could need - kitchen fully stocked with coffee, water, utensils, and new appliances; large and comfortable bed; living room with couch, chairs, and smart tv; and nice eating area. To top it off, Olivier provided incredible service and a smart phone app to use as a key. The hotel is one block over from the Hôtel de Ville.
