Villa da Praia Hotel

Hotel offer pool, restaurant and is beach front. Location would be perfect but only for locals or people with car. Whitout car you will not move anywhere (all is far away from the hotel). Good maintenance status but breakfast room cleaning is orrible. Flying insect on the food didn't enjoy our stay.

Nice hotel with friendly personnel, nice swimming pool, beautiful and quiet beach right in front of the hotel, good breakfast and comfortable room. Only negative that it is a bit far from city centre and the area doesn't have so many good options for dining.

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! ||The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. ||The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights.||The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!

Rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get. Outdated interiors with slightly scratchy bedding. Fine for a one night stay but not much longer. Breakfast is good (definitely ask for cooked breakfast). Location is very good - beautiful beaches and very close to the airport (though a bit far from Salvador centre).

The hotel, pool and view are nice. The restaurant food was average and breakfast was bad- too much cake and bread. I consider the hotel a bit overpriced given the size of the rooms, but the balcony with sea view is great! Reception staff was nice, restaurant staff inattentive. Also reception coffee (which was tiny) was 7 reais!

I would like to give them 0 stars. There were insects in my bed, I told the staff about it and he didn’t do anything but give me new sheets. The insects kept reappearing and we had to sleep on the floor. Then I git in contact with the manager per text and she refuses to make me an financial offer after already agreeing. I haven’t seen any money and probably wont. It was the most awful night I ever experienced and will never go back there. What a shame.

The hotel was good and the views amazing! Our room was located to the swimming pool view/sea view and the views are breath taking! any time of day..||The staff was also very pleasant and kind througout our stay! In the pool area, the hotel has its own pizzaria and bar. the pizzas are fast prepared and very tasty! (ideal if you are starving)! The bar staff are extremely nice :) From the bar/pool you can access the beach, it seems like a private peace of heaven :) The hotel restaurant also prepares very good food but it takes longer as those dishes requires much more preparation. The breakfast is simple but it has a variety of the basics and they presented quality food. The security was very good and we always felt safe in and near the hotel :) they advised us to stay close and not to wonder at night.||The rooms need some minor improvements as we had some problems with the toilets, the door to the balcony didnt close properly (im guessing this was the same in every room) so all the humidity would enter the room. some humidity is visible in the matress or courtains but as it is a very humid area, it is something to be expected.. with the air conditioner the room temperature was great! the bed is not very confortable but aceptable and the wi-fi and the tv worked great! it allowed us to see the programs in their original version! The balcony has great views and eating there is a plus! Overall we loved our stay and i would love to return someday! :)

I recently spent three nights at this very charming place in Itapuã Beach.||||Staff are very friendly and willing to provide any help requested. A decent number of employees ensure that all guest needs are looked at.||||I was impressed with the security detail employed by the hotel. I was later made aware that the beach is not safe, and that you should remain close to the hotel area and not venture around. Of course, that is not the nicest thing in the world, but overall we felt enclosed but safe.||||Food is forgettable and should be avoided. The restaurant at night serve fairly cheap food, but nothing to be commended for. It was also the only place where staff were not helpful, verging on lazy. Our orders took forever and were below par. Breakfast was also a bad experience, with the limited choices available not being replenished in a timely fashion. For example, in one busy morning, it took staff about 15 minutes to bring coffee.||||The room is decent. Not luxurious at all (plain white wall is a bit sad). The bed was not good at all, but the room was kept at the right temperature and there was enough space for luggage. The balcony is lovely and, if you have choose and pay for a sea view, you will be woken up by the sun hitting the sea and the coconut trees. Lovely.||||In summary, a decent stay despite the issues above.
