Villa da Praia Hotel

Rooms are a bit overpriced for what you get. Outdated interiors with slightly scratchy bedding. Fine for a one night stay but not much longer. Breakfast is good (definitely ask for cooked breakfast). Location is very good - beautiful beaches and very close to the airport (though a bit far from Salvador centre).

I would like to give them 0 stars. There were insects in my bed, I told the staff about it and he didn’t do anything but give me new sheets. The insects kept reappearing and we had to sleep on the floor. Then I git in contact with the manager per text and she refuses to make me an financial offer after already agreeing. I haven’t seen any money and probably wont. It was the most awful night I ever experienced and will never go back there. What a shame.

The hotel, pool and view are nice. The restaurant food was average and breakfast was bad- too much cake and bread. I consider the hotel a bit overpriced given the size of the rooms, but the balcony with sea view is great! Reception staff was nice, restaurant staff inattentive. Also reception coffee (which was tiny) was 7 reais!

We come from Germany and this hotel was recommended to me in advance by friends. And it is really great! We also recommend it very much! ||The quiet location directly on the beautiful beach is paradise! The owner welcomed us very warmly and always took time for a nice chat with us and had helpful travel tips. ||The service is great, the staff very friendly and the food excellent! The incredibly varied breakfast is prepared with love and offers every day different delicious highlights.||The hotel is the perfect place to relax by the pool or sea and really enjoy yourself! We will definitely like to come back!

The place is beautiful, and the rooms are comfortable. I’ve been staying in this hotel for couple times already, but my last experience was terrible. Front desk staffs are rude, and have poor customer service. I called front desk to ask for extra towel, and they denied. Also, lady hang up call on me. They also will charge you for every little thing, such a pool towel or a reception coffee.

Very relaxing. Not 5 starts due to needing some TLC on the doors to the patio and bathrooms. They have a small pizzaria and restaurant on site which is great! In my case, this is my second time here and it’s the perfect pitstop before heading to the airport after a long vacation. Airport is about 15 minutes away or less depending on traffic.

Quite and secluded, yet only a few miles away from the action for those, that enjoy partying. The place is clean, the rooms are tidy, and the service staff was awesome! A few steps away from the beach and not many panhandlers disturb your peace. The best of it all is only 7 minutes by car to Salvador, Bahia international airport.

This hotel is a great option for those who are looking for a calm area near Salvador. Just in front of the beach with a stunning view from the bedroom. Breakfast is perfect and the room is tidy and has everything you need. Swimming pool with a bar and restaurant gives a special touch to it. It is a bit far from Salvador city centre but you can get there in 20 minutes by taxi. If you like to spend time near the beach, Villa da Praia Hotel is the place for you to stay. Highly recommended!
