Villa Dei Papiri Resort

This property is a unique gem tucked away on the outside of Syracuse. The setting is so tranquil and you are surrounded by the beauty of nature. The breakfast was very good and served in a spectacular setting. It was an easy drive into town and the staff gave us directions to a grocery store where we stocked up on wine and cheese for our Happy Hour. We were traveling with friends and enjoyed gathering outside using one of their many picnic tables and enjoying the beautiful views and the serenity of our surroundings. We were in the Rosa cottage and had an issue running out of hot water. Our friends who were in nearby cottages had no issues so maybe it was just the Rosa having problems.

What a welcoming and beautiful oasis near Siracusa 💖 perfect for staying with a dog! This place will make you feel so relaxed that you won’t want to leave. 😍 we stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every second of it. Very friendly girls at the reception who will give you tons of great tips what to see near the Villa, they will welcome you with a beautiful smile… 😃🫶🏻 go and try for yourself!

Pros:|Beautiful rustic location|Breakfast room was beautiful and breakfast delicious with many choices|Love the animals around the property|Very quiet location|Many outdoor seating areas|Very authentic experience||Cons:|The outdoor areas are a little unkempt - pictures shown have the landscape a little more cleaned up|Small opportunities could really improve this experience. Shower curtains had about 2 inches of grime at the bottom and shower seemed like it needed a good scrubbing |If rooms were more functional would be helpful, more shelves / tables to store and organize your things

Villa Dei Papiri was absolutely wonderful. The villa and surrounding area are beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They helped us plan our day trips, book taxis, and make the most out of our trip to Siracusa. The room was great, and we loved being able to relax in the countryside after a day in the city or at the beach. We highly recommend Villa Dei Papiri and will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Sicily.

We felt welcomed and loved the atmosphere. Very stylish rooms with vintage interiors. There is a pool and overall feels like living in a small happy village. Very good breakfast with sweet and savoury choices.

Just came back from a peaceful stay in this wonderful resort. The location is immersed in the countryside outside Siracusa. Surrounded by endless of orange trees. The rooms are nice and cosy, with AC and TV. Cleanliness is very good and on a daily basis. Breakfast is satisfactory and the owners offer other options on demand. They provided even gluten free options. The owners were very nice and friendly with all of us.

We recently stayed here with our family. Beautiful location. Wonderful breakfasts. Great walks and runs. The owner and staff were so lovely. The family room was very spacious and pool area perfect for us. Only 20 mins car from Siracusa.

We organized our wedding receptions in October 2022 there.||Absolutely amazing place with wonderful people - everyone was always friendly and happy to help. Especially big thanks for Angelo who helped us with organizing everything (catering place, all other stuff) - very patient person :) and for Salvador who makes this place so special!! ||We booked 5 rooms, all od them were very good, especially the bigger onces. The buidlings and garden are beautiful. This place has magic atnosphere. Highly recommend!!
