I stayed for a week in one of the larger rooms to celebrate my 50th, with 14 family members and friends joining for the occasion. We planned a pre-event gathering with cocktails and appetizers before the evening celebration in the room. I hired a caterer to prepare food specifically for the event—not a private chef to cook meals in the room, which is what the resort normally offers.||On the day of, I was informed there would be a 15% fee charged by the resort to allow the caterer entry. Despite this, the caterer was not permitted in, which caused a major inconvenience. Guests were left waiting on food, all while we were dressed for the evening event and coordinating with the caterer to return later to drop everything off and meet them at the security gate as they were not allowed entry to drive to the building so that we could receive food in lobby. We walked down in our evening dresses, heels in the wonderful hot and humid weather. As a result, what was meant to be a relaxed cocktail hour turned into a rushed 15 minutes before we had to leave for our sunset cruise. Fernanda - Elite Concierge did all she could to make it better and offered assistance to assist us in carrying the food. I am grateful there were only a few trays of food.||Other than the incident on the day of our event, the resort itself is beautiful—perfectly situated with beach access, great food, beautiful rooms with great amenities and a truly welcoming atmosphere. What sets this place apart is the staff. They are genuine, attentive, and consistently go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Honestly, without them, I would probably reconsider my options, as I’ve visited many resorts throughout Mexico. But the Villa Group staff are simply the best! They make every trip memorable.||Special recognition goes to:||Melissa – Reception||Elsi – Housekeeping||Fernanda, Ruben, and Francisco – Elite Concierges||Anna Karen – Concierge||Yesi and Jonathan – Desert Spa||Gilder – El Patron||Nayeli Herrera – South American Grill (she recommended we visit, and it was delicious!)||Esquivel Perez, Chay, and Edgaliar – Poolside Service ||Liz – Poolside Service, possibly waitstaff manager||Pablo Ortega – South American Grill||Mariano – Entrance, Bell, and Taxi (amazing!)||Samuel, Abraham, and Manuel – Neptune||I cannot say enough about how wonderful they all are, and there are many more staff members throughout the resort who make each trip memorable. For us, it all started back in 2020 with Daniel and Joaquin at VDP in Puerto Vallarta, and it’s been exceptional ever since.

Beautiful and luxurious resort. Great views of downtown and the famous arches. Family friendly. Great tasting food. Unfortunately, their service needs improvement. My party booked together and was told we'd be close together upon check-in , but we ended up in different buildings. I talked to the front desk employees and even one of the managers on various occasions , but all they could offer were inferior rooms closer to my party than what I booked and mentioned that there were no other rooms. True or not, we were promised rooms close together when we booked, so this was a major let down. We also had a door lock replaced that took around 45 min when we had to access our room. We ended up being late for an event the resort hosted. The staff blamed humidity for the malfunction which I understand, but upon asking for compensation for the major inconvenience, nothing was offered. It wasn't our fault and it wasn't "an act of God". Just bad service at best, or gross negligence of maintenance at worst. Terrible customer service in this regard. Lastly, and perhaps just a training opportunity for the wait staff at the Taco bar, I ordered some tacos and asked for a salsa that was offered on the Boat, but not at the bar. I did not know this at the time of order. Unfortunately, I did not know what the salsa was called, but did my best to describe its appearance. The wait staff took around 30 minutes to find it, but during that time, came back to me twice saying the boat didn't have it or that they didn't know what I was trying to say. After who I presume was a manager at the Taco Bar talked to me, I think she figured it out and it ended up being spicy habanero salsa. Great, but that took way too long. My tacos were cold by the time I had the salsa in hand. The manager and wait staff were very friendly though. Overall, I had an amazing time because the resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and luxurious. The service needs improvement.

My stay at Villa del Arco Los Cabos was truly fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're looking for an all-inclusive resort with excellent service and a beautiful setting, this is the place. Housekeeping and maintenance, everything super clean and they even regularly change your sheets and regularly replenish bar service. The resort's all-inclusive options are exceptional. We ate at a number of restaurants, but the standout by far was Neptune's, Jimmy was excellent. The food was incredible, and the service was the best we experienced during our entire stay. The pool area is a huge highlight. The entertainment team, especially Rodo and Toni, were absolutely amazing. They were great with both adults and kids, making sure everyone was having a good time without being intrusive. We also have to give a special shout-out to our poolside server, Chay. He was so attentive and kind, always making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. You're constantly surrounded by breathtaking ocean views, including a perfect vantage point of the famous El Arco. It's the ideal spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty of Los Cabos.

Very relaxing even through the Lorena storm. Wait staff was kind and attentive all the time. Emmanuel made sure we had everything we needed for breakfast and explained how to get an omelette at the buffet. My boyfriend had dietary restrictions and Jesus remembered his order and made sure another staff who took care of us at lunch new the special request and ensured we always had enough if everything. Special shout out to Ramses who always said hello even if he wasn’t waiting on us. They made us feel special. Thank you!

This was our first all inclusive experience at a resort. Everything except the elevator was wonderful. The main elevator in building #2 was unventilated, hot, stuffy, stinky, and slow. ||We want to acknowledge Iracema for her excellent service at the breakfast buffet. We sat inside to stay cooler, and she was very attentive, friendly, and just plain awesome. ||Also, kudos to Valeria for marshaling the daily volleyball games. The guys were very competitive, but most still had fun. ||Most all of our seven days were AT the pools. We very much enjoyed poolside service by Freddie. ||Even though I’m addicted to cruising, which is also all inclusive, I would come back to this resort.

We spent 5 wonderful days in a two-bedroom condo with grandparents and our two little boys (ages 3 and 4), and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The beachside restaurants served spectacular meals, each offering kid-friendly options, and the staff was consistently attentive and accommodating.||The nightly shows were the highlight for our boys—absolutely magical and engaging from start to finish. The activity team and performers were not only incredibly talented, but also so kind, even taking the time to let our boys take photos with them after the show.||This resort truly made our family feel welcome, and we left with great memories. We loved it and will definitely be back

The hotel and rooms are very nice and the food is very good. The service is good but very, very slow. You have to give your name and room number before you're seated at a restaurant but you can't just leave when you're done. You have to wait for the bill even though this is an all inclusive hotel. They include a percentage for tips but you're supposed to wait for the check (again very long time) enter your information again and leave an extra tip while the server stands next to you waiting to see what you do. Many exceptions for included/not included wine. An All-Inclusive should be just that and you can upgrade stuff, if you want but this wasn't. We'll go to a real all inclusive next time.

Yelp
I have stayed at Villa del Arco for the last eight or even nine years. This was the first time bringing our 10-year-old daughter and she absolutely loved every minute of her stay. The service team members who took care of us day-to-day or sensational. I'd like to highlight Elizabeth every morning for breakfast at El patron, Christos for two nights of exceptional dinner at Neptune's and Freddie and Ramon who took care of us for many days at the pool or at the beach. The biggest frustration of our five nights stay was the lack of continuity on reservations at restaurants. Are pre-arrival concierge informed us you could only make reservations at Neptunes, which we did. When we visited El patron, Bella, California, and Carbone the first question the host asked was if we had a reservation. We informed the host we were unable to make reservations at which point the host looked puzzled. We attempted to call extension 519 during our state of make reservations and we're unable to make any dinner reservations. My request to this hotel would be to get a reservation policy so that visitors could schedule meals at their preferred time. I'd be more than happy to place a credit card to guarantee any reservation. The service check-in and checkout is lackluster, but the service staff throughout the hotel at all restaurants, beach, pool, and spa make up for it.

Yelp
We have owned here for 15 years and celebrate our anniversary every December. I have the same problem every year we come. They can never accommodate us with a suite we would like and almost every year we have had elevators out of service. This year they work but the lights on the ground floor displays don't work. You don't know if the elevator is working or where it is. The key system was out of service for a day and we couldn't get room keys. Their computer was also down and affected internet service. When I complained, they shrug it off. And I have to pay full price for this?

Yelp
The good: the lobby is gorgeous, the place is immaculate, and the staff are kind, hard working, and attentive. The food is fantastic and theres plenty of food at the buffets. A couple of pools, the lounge chairs at the pools are comfortable. The facility is immaculate and super clean. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and has outdoor furniture that's comfortable too. The kitchens are huge and there's a washer/drier in the rooms. The gym is 5-stars for a hotel gym as there's a sauna and hot tub in the locker rooms. The trolley between "villa del" resorts is convenient. The views from the rooms and property is absolutely gorgeous. You don't have to sign anything to checkout or return pool towels, so that's unique. My daughter liked the different colored wrist bands the resort gives as your "room key" (red= under 18) as it was easy for her to tell if someone was her age or not. Costco Travel discount offers inexpensive, yet I wouldn't pay to come here again based on the below. The bad: they run your credit card of a $500USD deposit upon arrival. (Wait, what?!) if you are doing All-inclusive the signing every.single.time you order ANYTHING, from a water bottle to any food is ANNOYING. The company uses iPads and staff looks up your name with your room number upon ordering, yet gives you a "paper bill" the size of a CVS Receipt to sign and "extra gratuity" tip after any little thing, is ridiculous. If you've never stayed at All-inclusive resorts, the best thing about all-inclusive is not having to carry your wallet and never worrying about spending, and this "signing for everything" with "some items, such as certain drinks or food is not included" makes you feel like you'll get a huge bill at the end of the stay, similar to a bar tab on a cruise ship. The extra tipping expected is also over-the-top. Being sold one location "if you stay here you can go to the other 2 Villa Del resorts next door" and told you can go to the other locations, but not via the beach when our bracelets says our resort and your iPad can look us up, but you can go if you "walk through the lobby via the trolley or walking" is flat out bait-and-switch. (Walking the beach access is a shorter route vs the road access). We felt everything closed at 8pm: The hot tubs outdoors and pools close at 8pm. No nightlife at this location, yet there is at Villa Del Palmar, but for All-inclusive this is not on-par with other AI resorts where there's events & activities day and night. A true All inclusive experience is similar to land-cruising, without the fear of over-spending. This experience is NOT like other all-inclusive resorts I've experienced in Mexico and I highly prefer to not think about spending when vacationing at an all-inclusive resort. We traveled with our family of 4 and the hotel room wasn't conducive for a family of teens with mixed-genders as there's a King bed and a pull-out sofa ONLY in the 1-bedroom options. We asked for 2 queens, rather than a King, and a sofa-bed, and we were told it doesn't exist on this property and agree to pay $25/night for a rollaway bed. (More payments!) Along with all of our (4 other) families traveling with us. At booking we'd asked to have our rooms near each other, or adjoining, as we have 22 people together in our group. That was also not accommodated, as we were told upon check-in it was a "request but not guaranteed." So, big takeaway: as a traveler in a group with 7 rooms between us, our accommodation "request" to be near each other was completely ignored and rejected as we were on different floors and various places throughout the resort. The layout of the rooms are funky: there's a jet tub taking up a huge portion of space and a dining room table set for 6 settings, yet can only sleep 3, is weird. (Take out the dining room tables, there's bar stools in the kitchen. If it's all-inclusive why would you be cooking or eating in the rooms??) I've stayed at multiple All-Inclusive resorts in Mexico and the room key wrist bands here are made of a fabric, vs silicone or plastic, and color coded for all-inclusive vs not and age (over 18 vs under 18) so why the signing off for food and beverage for "itemizing" and "extra gratuity" is beyond me and feels like I'm either going to have a massive charge at the end of my stay or like they want my money from asking for tips, either way, it doesn't feel relaxing when the entire idea for vacation is to relax. If the idea here is to accommodate families I'd suggest this resort to offer bunk beds or provide rollaways without an extra charge.

Yelp
This was an amazing trip to Cabo, MX. We stayed at Del Arco which is one of my most favorite places to stay. The customer service here is hands down the best in Cabo. If you ever travel here ask for Freddy - best waiter. He is super kind and respectful. The staffs kindness and positively really make you feel at home and comfortable. The food was great and delicious. I never had a bad cocktail. We did the all inclusive which makes life easy. They are not over the top with activities. The music in the morning is my favorite. We didn't leave the resort to eat. Neptune was My favorite restaurant so far. The food is to die for. I never had a bad plate. The lava cake was out of this world along with their expresso martini - whoop-whoop! The hotel was clean and smelt good. The toilet paper is even scented. They always had fresh flowers in our room and lobby. Super excited to come back here next year.

Yelp
A larger than life mega beachfront resort overlooking the point at the confluence of the Pacific and Sea of Cortez. Very nice rooms, especially if you can snag an oceanfront penthouse where the views of the point are spectacular. There are many timeshare residents here in addition to those vacationing here for a week or so. One serious negative however is the towel-on-beach-chair game played here. The worst I've ever experienced. Even at 6:00AM all the choice locations are "claimed". I think the pool staff "reserves" some of them overnight so the can "sell" them to those willing to slip a $20 to the attendant for a chair by the pool. It's a disgusting practice that many American resorts have cracked down on.

Yelp
Very nice semi-luxury resort. I spent multiple days here and got to enjoy the facility. Upsides were fantastic service, good food selection, beautiful views, and an activities director that was super helpful. Downsides are some of the restaurants are less successful than others, poor weather basically destroys their ability to offer food, and the rooms themselves have some QC issues. As I did the all inclusive package, it meant constantly consuming things all day. Oof, not good for the ol' waistline but fun at the moment. My favorite food item was the fried shrimp tacos at the poolside taqueria - a little habanero salsa and squeeze of lime, wow they were good. The daily breakfast overlooking the beach was nice, although I was annoyed that they reserve the best seats for the fools purchasing timeshares. Speaking of timeshares, to get a significant discount on activities, we had to sit through a timeshare presentation. Ay dios mio. At least the give you margaritas during it. It's basically a battle of wills between the salesman (I would not believe a single word out of the salesman's mouth, FYI) and you, although if you just remember "TIMESHARES ARE A SCAM" it will help you avoid bad decisions. Like buying a timeshare, which is incredibly stupid under any circumstance. Anyway, the activities in Cabo are awesome, and the lady working there helped with scheduling and rescheduling due to some weather, that was nice. Speaking of weather, when it rains, the whole resort basically shuts down. The only place open is literally the worst, sub-Taco Bell level food. So I guess check the weather report. Speaking of rain, the rain also caused my room's ceiling to leak, which was really annoying. This place isn't cheap and I didn't expect to have a leaky roof. They did seem to fix it, but that was far from the only issues with the room. The AC is kind of a joke, you either run it 24x7 or it doesn't work. And the water pressure is ridiculous, it's like someone wringing a wet towel over you. Finally, the water situation. They will, if you ask, bring 8 liters of water to your room, every day, for free. Which is awesome. But you have to ask, every day. Which sucks. With the crazy heat and humidity I'm surprised they don't drop it off by the gallon. Random other facts - the Italian restaurant is suprisingly good, the "farm to table" restaurant is surprisingly bad, the shows are amusing but the buffets leave a lot to be desired, and if you go out on the beach you'll be offered all manner of cheap junk and drugs. Yes, drugs. I had a good time, but as I'm far from a Cabo expert I'd probably try a few other all inclusives before coming back. But it's a good place and the people are all incredibly nice, so you'd certainly not regret being here.

Yelp
This is one of the three properties in the Villa Group. Villa Del Arco, Villa La Estancia and Villa Del Palmar. If you purchase the all inclusive at Villa Del Arco or Villa Del Palmar, these two are apart of your all inclusive food and drinks. Villa La Estancia is not apart of the food and drinks. I enjoyed the water aerobics! There are pool Floaties for usage while in the pool. I would recommend this resort for family with kids. We had great views of the Pacific Ocean from the pool and hot tub area. There are boat tours, jet ski rentals at hang gliding located beach side. Cruise lines will dock near by. There is a trolley which takes you from property to property. It runs every 15 minutes from 7am to 11pm. This resort offers to and from the hotel and airport transportation. You must schedule 24 hours ahead. There is a full gym, spa and two restaurants and taco bar. Each morning in the lobby is the coffee bar. You are issued a wristband which is your key to enter your room. No more trying to keep up with a key card. There is WiFi available while on the property. The bathroom can be a hassle. You have to raise your leg quite high to get in and out to of the shower. The rooms are large with cooktop, refrigerator, microwave, dishes, drinking glass and utensils. Housekeeping came twice a day. Our refrigerator was restocked daily with sodas, juice and beer. The honor bar was restocked daily with chips, popcorn , candy and granola bar. There is a short walk to the market and deli. There are two restaurants and a taco bar on this property. Drinks are served throughout the day poolside and hot tub.

Yelp
I should have paid closer attention to other Yelp reviews. We signed up for the 90 min marketing presentation making it through an awkwardly forced breakfast, show-home walk through and the grueling sales pitch. I could give you a point by point recount of each injustice that cut a swath out of our already short vacation, but so many other yelpers have previously shared an identical experience. Hindsight, we still would have done the presentation but set a timer and ended it at the promised 90 minutes. Another bummer was the constant sounds of heavy construction. All. day. Now the good stuff. Villa del Arco is a beautiful, well taken care of resort, steps from a pristine beach. The staff were all so friendly including Efrain, Indra, Alizabeth, Daniel and Elizabeth. Each made us feel important and valued. If you aren't all-inclusive, I recommend a short Uber or walk to the marina for lunches and dinners. The resort restaurants can get pricey. We really enjoyed the buffet and show "Grease" at Villa De Palomar. This isn't Broadway folks, but the performers enthusiasm won us over.

Bibek B.

Yelp
A bad customer experience negates all the good experience you had. That's what my family's stay at this resort boiled down to. We booked 3 all inclusive room paying $7K+. We wanted to enjoy a good drink so we went to their El Patron restaurant bar and ordered 3 margaritas with a premium tequila. They offered us one with selección suprema de herradura tequila and showed $50 on screen, we thought that was reasonable for 3 drinks. But turns out it was $53 per drink, I have never paid this much for a margarita served on a plastic glass poolside even at 7 star hotels. This was completely scam/ripoff, but front desk said they cannot help because it was restaurant transaction, restaurant just blamed it on us even though they did not explain and confirm the charge until they delivered the drinks poolside. I would suggest just look elsewhere for a hassle free, secure vacation. If you have already booked here be careful on what you order and check charges carefully.

Yelp
Good Day - This review is written with the intent of two purposes: One, hoping the management staff sees this and decides to reach out directly to me to make right a disastrous experience. Two, for any potential guests, beware of the Villa del Arco Resort, what a TRAP. IT'S A TRAP! Do not burden your family and children to the mistake of staying here. First Issue - After a long a tiring day of travel with a 1 and 4 year old, we would told "No" to sitting down at their "reservation only" Mexican restaurant, after 20 family members who arrived within 30 minutes of us all had a table and had ordered. I clearly communicated that these family members had just sat down and had no reservation, I was treated as if I had broken into the hosts home and stolen his childhood baseball card collection, was shown zero empathy and was required to leave our other family, it was an absolutely joke of a first experience on the resort. Second Issue - Upon hearing about reservations, went to the concierge to request reservations for the rest of the trip. Oh really? Only 8 or 8:30pm available for my two kids under 5, yeah that's not going to work. Ok we'll go to the international buffet every night for "mediocre at best cuisine" and those who get shunned and sent off like Game of Thrones to the ice wall. Third Issue - These restaurants cannot accommodate more than 10 people in a restaurant at a time. Let me repeat this, 10 people max, otherwise you'll be in there for 2-3 hours without any food sent to your table. Our group of about 30 family members were the only people within a restaurant for lunch at 1pm. I proceeded to be the ONLY person who did not receive anything for lunch and a a majority of the family started after a minimum of 1 hour receiving an appetizer. There was NO ONE else in the restaurant than us. Rude staff, never apologized or indicated I could even BOX UP what I had ordered when I let them know I need to go attend to my two children. At the final straw I stormed out (still no food) like Jerry McGuire leaving the sports agency and asking "Whose coming with me?", unfortunately to my displeasure everyone had eaten at this point and I was left out, ONCE AGAIN. Fourth Issue - After going out to the Game of Thrones Ice Wall to eat again for the fourth time at the International Buffet, we waited 45 minutes to get in and found a table in the front, SUCCESS I thought, wow REALLY, a table with an incredible view. Two nights before we were sat directly behind a tree, Dad scores again with my kids and them asking why we aren't eating and able to see the show. So worth it. Back to the front table, well long story short, we got KICKED OUT shunned to the back of the tables at the show with no mercy, on the side in the back with another bad view, kids asking me again why we cant see, just classless and no one having a care in the world for this bad experience we've been having. Lastly, when I went to go speak to a manager after this last poor experience, I was told THERE ISN'T A MANAGER ON SITE. Oh boy, I'm surprised I didn't get hit with the "I am the manager" bit like the classic Dave Chappelle episode. Needless to say, I needed to come to air my grievances to Yelp. The only and I say ONLY positive experience is the pool staff, who were attentive and friendly, the only silver lining to this trip. With that said, do yourself a favor and AVOID staying here at all costs. I was irritated, upset and frankly pissed off the majority of my stay here due to multiple bad experiences with wait times, poor food quality and a lack of any empathy or concern from any staff member. You can choose many locations, do not waste your time with this establishment.

Yelp
Came here for the first time as we booked this resort through a Costco bundled deal. Overall, the staff were there at the front desk at the restaurants at the breakfast buffet, and the cleaning crew are extremely pleasant and friendly and helpful. Absolutely no complaints here. Further, if you have a chance to participate in some of the included activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, water, volleyball, water, aerobics, etc. The employees who manage these programs are also the best spirited best attitude employees for this job. We had a one bedroom suite, which was absolutely fantastic with the size of two bathrooms, the full kitchen, etc. even better was the private lanai, and we were on the ground floor, which surprisingly was still very private and very quiet. Also, great about this location was that it was only a 20 minute relaxing walk to get into town to get to some of the core Cabo restaurants and shops, as well as Medrano beach. Unfortunately, while hear the patron restaurant was under construction and not open. The only downfall to this place is if you're not a member and you go to the sales presentation and just prepare yourself. You will encounter at least six different people in the process, starting with the concierge and answer the same questions multiple times. In our case, we went through and dedicated more than an hour and a half in fact, a total of four hours. Only Van to be given a runaround about getting our hundred dollar free food credit because they told us that we were lying and we were not qualified . I would consider staying here again if there was a good deal for it.

Yelp
They have gone down in quality- food, appointments, decor. The food is average. The prices of everything- food, market, deli, is plain stupid. I am hoping they will improve- we will be back in November.

The spa is beautiful, and the service is excellent. Aurora gave me an awesome, relaxing massage. Luisa, Vivi and Lety pampered me before and after. Take time to look through the beach wear and other shop items. Enjoy!

I would give this resort no stars if that is possible. The reason is because I left my shades after dining at El Patron and went back to ask for it, a worker there said no one returned anything. Ofc they wouldn't... For a tourist to be there, they would assume our belongings are expensive. And the worker really said "my servers are very honest" Yeah right. Another thing, they don't even have cameras ANYWHERE. How unsafe of a resort to not have cameras? I totally would not recommend this resort because of my missing shades that a server pocketed, no cameras, and how they said that my room will have a king and queen bed. LIES. it's not even a queen but a pull out bed. DEF DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.

Yelp
If you book events through Villa Group before arriving, the concierge will pretend that you're not allowed to schedule your activities until after you attend a marketing session the next day. We refused and insisted on getting scheduled, and they made me tell them no to the marketing session four times before finally taking us to the little office next door (left of the main entrance) where an unrelated team scheduled our activities. The concierge team is pretty relentless, which killed all of our honeymoon vibes before we even got to our room. Be prepared. They'll also claim that the "tour" (marketing session) will only take an hour, and that's not true either. They offered us ~$190 to attend the session, and I told them I'd rather pay $400 than go. Vacation time is invaluable. Anyways, be prepared for that. Know that you don't have to go. Don't give them the $20 deposit if you don't intend to go; just tell them no... 4 times. Aside from that, we had a really lovely stay at Villa del Arco. When we got to our room, a big "HAPPY HONEYMOON!" banner was hung across our door, and inside was a big gift basket of snacks/drinks, a decent bottle of cab, chocolate-covered strawberries, fresh fruit, bubble bath, and a romantic bed display. We had a large suite with a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom, two full bathrooms, and a gigantic balcony overlooking the garden and ocean. On the balcony were lounge chairs and a table where you can eat and listen to the waves. We paid extra for all-inclusive wristbands, which included free food and drinks at any of the Villa del Arco or Villa del Palmar restaurants, and we were very impressed with the quality of food and drinks! We used the gym most mornings, and it was well-equipped. The treadmills were old and janky, but all of the other equipment was in good shape. They have ice cold agua de jamaica and cups near the entrance. Bottom line... we had a magical time and would happily come back.

Yelp
*Do NOT go to this hotel* I wish there was an option for ZERO stars. Full of bad surprises, 1st day they sent us a notice that they need to fumigate our room, 2nd day they sent a notice that there will be no water from 12 to 3 and the water never came back on time The manager and the crew don't solve any problems, they are just telling you facts for what is happening without giving you any solutions for the problems that are happening because of them. There is still 3 days left in our vacation and we wished that we would have never came here and booked with this bad resort.

Yelp
We just came back to our hotel, after being downtown this evening. The amount of shenanigans, if you know what I mean here in Mexico..... was astonishing. Came back to our hotel. Not one security guard walking in. And NO one at the front desk. Then we walk to the ground level hotel elevator. Windows and walkways ALL open!!!! Are you kidding me? The lack of security and what's happening these days, is beyond disturbing. Very dangerous. My friend is a Vice cop in the US, she was completely shocked by the lack of security here. Also, no running water in the hotel. I paid a small fortune for 4 days, around $3000. This is unacceptable. Please reconsider.

Yelp
We booked an all-inclusive package here via Costco Travel. Despite having a significant hurricane just a few weeks prior, I would recommend this place for other families looking for an all-inclusive option. Details to follow. TL;DR - 45-60 minute drive from the airport - El Patron is the superior breakfast buffet - Neptune's is the best dinner restaurant - Make reservations for all dinner restaurants as early as you can - Out of the three Villa properties, only Arco has direct beach access at this time - Make reservations for kids club activities, which are only at VDP - There is a timeshare angle but it's not as strong as I was expecting Location Villa Del Arco is located right next to Playa El Medano beach. It's about a 45 minute drive from the airport, but there is a bottleneck along the toll highway which can increase this to about 60 minutes when there are lots of cars. With our package we opted for the private airport transfer to reduce the chance of missing time due to stops at other resorts for pickups or dropoffs. The resort belongs to a "Villa" group which has three properties in a row. There is a free trolley that runs a loop every 5 minutes or so between Villa Del Arco and Villa Del Palmar. Taking a taxi to downtown Cabo should take less than 10 minutes and about USD$10. It's possible to walk, but it'd be a long walk and maybe challenging with young kids. Room We stayed in a one bedroom which faced the interior of the property. The room was spacious and had two bathrooms and a full kitchen. The living room sofa pulls out into a bed, or you can leave the sofa as-is and use a murphy bed instead. You can only use one of the two, not both at the same time. The kitchen has microwave, electric range with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with separate freezer. Outdoor temps hit high 80's during our stay, but we didn't really need to run the AC at all. The room was kept at a comfortable 70. The beds and pillows were just average; we've had more comfortable sleep in many other vacations. Dining We had an all-inclusive package so the review will focus on that angle. The number one tip I wish I had known was that reservations for dinner were critical, not just recommended. Make them early in the day, or a day in advance. The breakfast buffet at El Patron was great, look for Angelica at the omelet bar. We did try the breakfast buffet at Belle California (at VDP) but El Patron was superior. You can also order entrees instead of the buffet, but note that ordering food will take about 20-30 minutes. For lunch there is the Taco Bar, El Bucanero (pirate ship cafe), or you can get food delivered to you poolside. For dinner, South American grill was just ok (the food was a bit greasy), El Patron was good, the dinner buffet at VDP was average but the included show was fun. Neptune's was definitely the highlight restaurant. We used our resort credit for the premium options there. Make sure you sign a receipt for every food/drink order. Pools At VDA there are two pools. The upper pool had pretty cool water, the lower pool had heated water. Both pools have sections for kids to be able to stand in (look for the sandy colored floor areas). The lower pool also has a splash area which is really fun for kids. Despite signage stating you're not allowed to "reserve" lounge chairs, people still seem to do this and it can be hard to find places to set your things down. Kids We were a bit disappointed in the Kids Club offerings. The Kids Club is only at VDP, and they don't take any walk-ins. Reservations are required in advance. We dropped our kids off at an activity called "tape art". When we picked our kids up, they had paint all over their hands and clothes. We didn't enjoy having to wash paint out of clothes on our vacation. Each day there is an AM and a PM session, with about one hour of some kind of "activity" and the rest of the time is supervised pool time. Our kids aren't great swimmers yet, so we opted to pick them up right after the activity was over. Beach A recent hurricane knocked down all beach stairs from the Villa properties, and only VDA seems to have temporary access set up. The waves here are pretty strong, with frequent sneaker waves. I wouldn't recommend swimming in the water unless you are skilled. The sand is coarse, but was nice to play in for a bit as something to break the pool routine. The water was very blue and clean. There were some beach vendors but they didn't really hassle us much. Timeshare Pitch You'll be asked upon checkin to speak with the concierge who will try to sign you up for a timeshare presentation. You'll be promised VIP status and deals on excursions. We opted out of this (they may try asking again any time you contact the concierge or front desk), and didn't feel like we missed out on anything. Without the VIP status, the concierge didn't offer any deals on excursions, so we just booked directly with vendors.

Yelp
This was my first all inclusive post pandemic and first time in Cabo. What I loved about our experience is how friendly and helpful the staff was. The grounds were immaculate and the level of cleanliness was top notch. All inclusive breakfast was great! Good options and nice variety. The room service was only ok. Food took longer than expected to arrive and menu for in room service is limited, however I heard you can order off menu (I did not try it). We made reservations for Neptune. The on-site seafood restaurant. The food was delicious and presentation was adequate. Again the view was gorgeous. Collared shirts for men required but still beach dressy was the standard. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the view and the patio was nice to sit to the start or end of the day. Family friendly atmosphere or as a couple. The beach was immaculate and a part is sectioned off for those that don't want to deal with the local vendors. The on-site gym is one of the best I've gone to while traveling. Totally recommend for those that like to get in a workout while on vacation. Towels and refreshment provided. Spa was AMAZING! Bring your bathing suit as they have several amenities to enjoy when you book a massage or other service. Steam room, dry room, cool plunge and two temperature saunas, along with various showers. Men and women are separated. We did the His & Hers. Highly recommend as you get to spend time with your significant other in a private jacuzzi just before a same room massage. Staff was friendly and attentive. No cell phones allowed in spa, so it makes for a nice quiet environment. Covid testing is on-site and very easy. Call to make an appt 24 before exiting the country. Overall our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and definitely made me want to come back again.

Yelp
Nestled in a corner of Arco is the best grille bar I have had in Cabo. Vidal and his crew are delighted to show you what a Grille bar can be. I have been coming to Villa del Palmer since 2019 and I can't believe I missed this place BUT I FOUND YOU now. So freaking good. Everything served from a grille. Not just any grille. Beet Salad, portobello mushroom, Salmon. Beef Tenderloin, Half chicken are all in my inclusive package. But it is their service and presentation, which is first class that stands out in my mind Vidal makes it quite apparent that you are to leave the Grille feeling like you had a great dining e perience. And we did! This is my spot where I gotta to do it three times. Another review to follow on the day job of the Grille which is a fine dining taco bar

Yelp
Resort is nice and people are friendly but prices are out of control. Also, fairly confident 2 sunglasses I brought were taken separately, once right in front of me off a serving platter poolside yet somehow no one ever found them. The other sunglasses were in a case in my backpack sidepocket which I *never* removed during the trip but were miraculously missing when I went to find them after "losing" the first set. I'll leave it to your imagination what likely happened.

Yelp
I have been staying here for the last 10 years. Truly the best resort there is. So clean, they do a great job. You always see housekeepers around deep cleaning the smallest things. Such great service around the pool and at restaurants. Chay, one of the pool servers, is the kindest server I have encountered. His smile lights up the whole hotel. So attentive and thoughtful. I would stay here just for Chay but I will continue coming with my family for so many other reasons as well. Great views and a clean beach.

Yelp
I was here from 12/15-12/21/22 with my parents. They own here and I get to tag along. I noticed most of the bad reviews are due to the timeshare pitches and I can't comment on that. My parents have been owners for a really long time and they just know how to say no right from the get go lol. So I will comment on the resort itself, the people, and the food. First and foremost this place is spotless at all times. The cleaning starts early in the morning every day and doesn't stop until late at night. I'm an early riser so I noticed all the cleaning crew getting to work. Washing the chairs at the pool, watering the beautiful grounds, raking the sand... You name it it gets cleaned. At del arco we ate at Neptune, the taco bar (note that this turns into South American grill in the evening), breakfast buffet and at the pool. At del palmar we ate at Carbon and the sports bar. Also got some food at the deli at bfast. Neptune was our favorite and we ate there twice. Carbon was also good, really unique concept. The breakfast buffet and sports bar were good...typical food you'd expect. Same for the food poolside, nothing that we didn't really like. 98% of the staff we encountered were outstanding. There was one guy at reception who was not nice or helpful, wish I could remember his name. It was the only time we had to even go to reception since we mostly went to the elite concierge. Also one of the girls at the market was snotty. But other than that the staff was helpful and attentive to our needs. The one thing I would suggest is that they do something about the coffee situation. I think it's time to switch to Keurigs in the rooms. Having gone as a plus one with my own room, but having to make coffee for myself, this would have been much easier. Overall we had a great time, I can't wait to come back and maybe do a boat tour of some kind... Maybe when it's warmer!

Yelp
The reviews on the internet leave me wondering HOW it is possible to be close to 5 stars. I feel like standards have dropped drastically since COVID. This place is fine but not great for 2 main reasons: 1: safety/ security and staff courtesy. Safety and security: during my stay, I shared the room with a friend; one morning, I went out for a run, she went to the gym, when she returned, she realized our room door opened without the key. She contacted the front desk and arranged to have it taken care of. Hours later, a maintenance person was tending to the door when I approached the room, I walked passed him at the entryway and into the room. He said nothing and carried on with his job. This was concerning as how did he know I was supposed to be there? I was going through bags and helping myself to items in the room and walked out without any direct communication. I didn't use my key to enter nor did I speak with him to confirm it was my room. Another deal breaker for me was the lack of courtesy and respect from staff. My party had 3 guest rooms, we purchased an all inclusive package and were not treated with courtesy and respect on multiple occasions. The ultimate disrespectful encounters occurred with the pool attendant, Osvaldo, 2 disrespectful interactions in one day; the first occurred because we placed towels on pool lounges next to the table where we would be sitting down to breakfast. After serving ourselves at the buffet, we noticed the chairs were being occupied by other guests who were placing their towels on the lounges and we learned Osvaldo had removed them. He claimed he had been watching and they were unattended for an hour; clearly not the case but ok. It would have been fine but his tone and continued taking back when we gave him feedback was so condescending. Later, I returned to the pool deck hut to request replacement towels from one of the female attendants, Osvaldo overheard my request and stated " I have your towels here". I find it hard to believe 1 hour later he held on to my towels rather than placing them in the hamper and why not bring them earlier when I asked about them being removed. It was extremely disrespectful to offer me someone's dirty towels. Other small service opportunities include the staff who work in the buffet breakfast area telling us we could only have 1 bottle of water each while we sit next to other guest tables who visibly have been served 2 bottles each. Remember, we have the all inclusive package. Positive points: The food and drinks were good; Pool servers were very attentive as were the staff at the Neptune and carbon grill. Location: I enjoyed the ability to run from the hotel into the marina each morning; the proximity to the center of town is a plus. I also appreciated the ability to swim in the ocean and enjoy the beach as this is not accessible from all beaches in Cabo. In closing, I believe most of the reviews come from time share owners or patrons who have not had other experiences in the area for comparison. I was traveling with friends who made the arrangements so I was along for the ride, if I had my choice, I'd pick Pueblo Bonito sunset or Rose.

Yelp
One of our favorite resorts to stay while in Cabo. We've visited in the months of August, October and May. All have their good points and down sides. August is hot and humid, October less hot ocean is still warm but more busy than August, May is warm in the day chilly at night and the ocean hasn't quite warmed up yet. We love this resort for the people, convenience to food & proximity to downtown and the marina. Very relaxing to lay by the pool or go for a swim in the pretty blue colored ocean/Sea of Cortez. We've never had any issues and always enjoyed our stay here! The employees are amazing and go out of their way to make things great.

Yelp
This is for the spa part of Villa del Arco-- Rossy gave me an AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL massage. I feel so relaxed and all the tension in my back and arm from my desk job feel soooo relieved. I will definitely request Rossy the next time I come back!!

Yelp
I am stoked, this place rocks the all inclusives! Great taco bar by the pool, awesome view of the ocean, and amazing margaritas! We are having so much fun!

Yelp
We arrived early as usual but this time we were told that our room would not be ready until 4 pm. We are members and have come for over 20 years and NEVER had to wait all afternoon for the room. We lost a day and are very displeased by the hotel telling us we had to wait. Zero hospitality, no drink or other accommodation offered to us and the staff was quite blasé too. Total indifference was offered to us. The place is a little old and tired and we are very upset by the lack of respect and kindness shown to us

Yelp
Hurricane Norma come and gone. No flooding, barely any rain. Greasy cheese quesadilla for bfast, stale bread with mayonnaise and tiny turkey pieces for lunch. Front desk; "what if storm returns "? Have you ever seen a tropical storm turn around and come back after passing into the mainland!!! Very bad service. Paid for All Inclusive and get treated like sh1t.

Yelp
We scheduled a vacation through Costco Travel and Villa del Arco was a genuinely pleasant and a fun vacation destination. Its location is perfectly situated at lands ends of the Baja Peninsula and the ocean is mostly calm and swimmable. It's an older resort, but the facilities are very well kept. We would return in a heartbeat! All of the staff are pleasant and interesting people. They really added to experience and I would make a special callout to the pool concierge. On one occasion there were a couple displaying an ugly American attitude that he dealt with both professionally and tactfully. The food in the restaurants of the resort was generally good, to at times, excellent. However there were a few exceptions that really missed the mark. A bottle of premium champaign had to be sent back as it had turned to vinegar with no carbonation. The chefs seemed to have no idea of what a Caesar Salad should be. In one case, their Caesar Salad had 1000 Island dressing. Surprising for a Mexican resort. Pricing of entrees on the resort restaurant menus are absurdly high, far greater than local restaurants in town. This wasn't much of a problem as we used the all-inclusive plan. But, the staff always brought a bill to sign and seemed to expect a tip based on inflated prices. Pro-Tip, if you plan to eat at the resort restaurants, go with Costco's all-inclusive plan. It will save you greatly and reduce stress while vacationing. Also, don't feel obliged to tip based on the inflated prices. The Costco deal included a couple of credits that were problematic. The hotel seemed to have no idea regarding the included 50 minute massage at the spa. I had to shuttle back and forth between the spa and the front desk to get them to acknowledge the deal. After showing them the Costco page reflecting the deal, they provided the massage as stated. This is important to know as the massage would have cost well over $200. Again, far more expensive than massages available locally. The other Costco deal is an included hotel credit ($175) which was more of a pain than it was worth. It's really only good for premium items on the restaurant menus, and the credit doesn't include a 15 percent service charge on premium items. So it cost you money to use the credit. This kind of trickery, and the inflated menu pricing distracted from an otherwise positive experience. Last and most important note; Costco travel is a fantastic way to schedule vacations. Hotel transfers were spot on and the experience was otherwise seamless.

Yelp
Don't waste your money here! The room is NOTHING special. The TV was 22" size. The room was a view of the stairwell. The elevator had been broken for 4 months! This isn't an inside hotel but an outside motel. Check-in time was 4pm instead of 3pm & check out time 11:00am instead of noon. Food was overpriced & mediocre. The beer was out of tap then served in cans. You need reservations to the restaurant but never told. Plus it's 10-15 minutes to the Marina. There weren't any room service menus. All this for $500/night! What a rip off!

Yelp
We had a pleasant experience during our stay at Villa del Arco. All the resort staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We did accommodations only but had a $125 resort credit, enough to have dinner and several drinks. The resort seemed to attract an older crowd, and there wasn't much to do after the sunset. However, downtown Cabo is less than 10mins away, and we did not mind the peaceful nights. Overall we would highly consider staying here again. My biggest recommendation is to arrive after 6 pm (no timeshare people) and stay away from the concierge! I made the mistake of asking the concierge for activity recommendations and wasted 1hr of my precious vacation time listing to her trying to convince us to join a short 90min "marketing" presentation. They emphasize that you will receive amazing deals on many activities and that the presentation will only take 90 mins. However, during the check-in process of the presentation, you must lie to the person and say that you are free for the next 4 hours, or else the concierge employee will not get her points. Once we heard that, I knew the presentation would not be 90mins, and the second we had a chance to run, we ran...and never came near the concierge area again! Unless you want to do the "marketing" presentation, STAY AWAY FROM THE CONCIERGE DESK!!!! If you need to check out their activities, it will be located on the left side as you enter the lobby from the valet/car drop-off, next to a mini store. Or you can walk the marina and find a reasonable deal on activities (which is what we did) I forgot to mention: I purposely left a pair of sandals that rusted during my stay. I was curious and wanted to know if I would receive a call... it's been a week and no call. I was not expecting a call but had they I would have been amazed! So triple check everything is packed before you go!

Yelp
We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Villa del Arco resort! We reserved a garden view room but it seems they upgraded us, as our room was on the top floor with vaulted / tiled ceilings, a huge wrap around balcony and beautiful partial views of the ocean and Medano Beach. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, and the property was well maintained and very clean. We felt very safe on the property and when arranging transportation through the resort to go into town. The location was superb, with beautiful ocean views and access to a great beach and many boats to take us to town and the famous Arch; it was also a short walking distance along the beach to town. The pool was beautiful, quiet, clean, not too crowded and a big hit with our kids (especially the pirate ship!). The resort offered lots of fun activities, also, and had a cute trolley to ride to the market and other properties. The food was tasty and pool side service was fantastic! It was very convenient having in-room laundry and a kitchen. Our only critiques were the prices for food were very high at the on-site market and restaurants (we did not do the all inclusive option). We were also pressured to attend a time share presentation and received a bit of an unpleasant attitude when we politely declined attending it. However, despite these drawbacks it was overall a great stay and we would return.

Yelp
Where shall I start with the worst hotel experience we have had in Cabo. Luckily, we decided to check out early because our pent house unit had no hot water. We reserved the unit a year in advance and were asked to check out of it on our first day, so we could be reassigned to the one with no hot water. We ended up having to wait for five hours while housekeeping got our room ready, even though we were instructed to leave our existing room promptly at 11 and were told the new room would be ready when it was ready... four PM. Pleaded with front desk but were told that this was very common and should not complain or expect any recourse. They even said we could email their general mailbox. Also tried to have a mobile IV unit come to help us when my husband started having stomach issues. We were told that we could only use the hotel doctor and IV nurse would not be allowed on premises. IV nurse informed us that the hotel asked for her commission last time she visited. Hotel doctor did not offer IV service and told us to visit emergency room even though there was no emergency. The Desert Spa was really nice but set us back around 1200 USD. They up sale oils in order to get a massage. This place felt like a scam and no one really offered friendly service outside of the restaurants, spa and house keeping staff. Will not return even though we own a time share here. Our money went to purchase empty promises! Plenty of other options in Cabo, stay somewhere that you can enjoy your vacation!!

Yelp
I really liked this resort very much! The staff was friendly and my chicken wings were good! Everyone was surprised that I knew alittle Spanish which is understandable because I am American. I enjoyed the different restaurants & ATVs. I will never go fishing again! Way too long but at least I caught a Mahi Mahi. This was before Covid.

Yelp

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic Resort that touts Customer Service until you become a member until you need help then you cannot get follow through from someone that represents himself as a Executive of Member Services ( Luis Alcantara ) I have 3 documented cases where he and I set up for him to call me back to take care of an issue and he failed all 3 times. After 12 phone calls to talk to someone above him I still have no resolution.

Yelp
The resort itself is beautiful. Great location. The food is VERY average. I didn't really enjoy any of my meals, to be honest. We have 3 small children, so we decided to stay on grounds and try the different restaurants. We have done all inclusive at other Cabo resorts (pacific dunes) and it was delicious and 40/day per person cheaper. The all inclusive at this resort is incredibly pricey, the drinks were so weak (I drank 10+ a day and didn't even have a buzz), the service was ok, not great, and one of the poolside servers wasn't very friendly. The resort has a lot of people, the market was insanely priced (28 dollars for a small block of cheese), very few activities other than volleyball/water aerobics (very little for kids) and it just didn't feel like "home away from home." Overall, I would rate it a C+. Not to mention we arrived at 1 and they did not let us into our room until 4:30. We wasted a day just sitting on our lounge chairs. No drink compensation, nothing.

Yelp
The overall resort was clean and definitely used. My room was clean, but needed some touch ups. Beds were comfy. The best part of the resort was the staff - super attentive and always aiming to please. Pools were heated which made my vacation!! We had the all inclusive package and I have to say the drinks never stopped, even though they didn't have the brands I prefer on the all inclusive menu, but the food was outstanding!! Breakfast and the eggs Benedict was on point every day, pool side food was awesome and the hibachi grilled chicken in the Argentine restaurant was to die for. They went out of their way to give us the best dining experience and the views from the restaurants was spectacular. Definitely recommend this resort.

Yelp
Promise you the moon but the delivery falls way short. We have been members here for 12 years and we come one to two times a year. The resort experience started out lovely, but now it is becoming a nightmare everytime we come for the past 3 years. This year tops them all! We arrived on Friday and there was no hot water. They said a main water line broke. We were understanding. These things happen. However, the next day, no hot water all day and night. We could take a shower at the gym. That night there wasn't any water at all, not even cold. Okay, the next day there was.hot water in the morning, but by noon we had no hot water again. We were very understanding, but by the third day we went to the front desk and they simply said too bad. I am ready to trade or sell this timeshare and never come here again. I recommend NOT coming to Villa del Arco!
google avatar

Meghan L.

Yelp
My parents have a timeshare here and we have been coming over the last 8 years. Villa del arco is definitely nicer than the older resort in the same company villa palmar. However the resort is starting to look outdated. I know they have started renovating on the top floors. Our washing machine was crazy loud and squeaking and smelled soooo nasty and moldy! We got chocolates brought to our room every night as well as extra towels and shampoo, conditioner and lotions. The pool area was awesome and the servers were very attentive. The restaurant options were awesome. The taco bar and Neptune were my favorites. We had a spa treatment and it was amazing and relaxing and not super outrageously priced. We also used the gym daily and it was super nice with lots of machines and equipment. However it was always 80 degrees in there!! They could afford to add some fans and extra AC units. On the beach in front of the resort be prepared to be harassed by salespeople on the beach.

Dino Z.

Yelp
People extremely friendly. Excellent hospitality. My only issue is, as a member, the elevators are always packed with staff moving carts of dirty mops and / or cleaning supplies up and down the elevators. If I need to go down the lobby or to the pool im always greeted with moving carts coming in and out the elevators and elevators stoping at almost each floor. They should have a separate service elevators for services.

Yelp
We have stayed at this property 3 times now. Once at La Estancia and twice at Villa Del Arcos. We do like this property. It's got a great beach and great amenities. We do the all inclusive package but I would recommend not doing that for at least one or two days of your stay in Cabo so you can venture into town and sample the many fun places to eat and drink. The staff is exceptional. They really go the extra mile. The food options are good, perhaps not "great" but very good overall. The place is immaculately clean and well kept. You couldn't ask for a better place. My one issue is internet access. I know, who needs internet while on vacation? Well, I need it for Ubers into town, I like to watch YouTube videos while lounging at the pool, I need it to search for local restaurants and activities. The basic free internet is 3 Mbps, pathetically slow. In addition, even though you can go to the other Villa properties, internet is specific to your property so it's off when you leave Del Arcos. Getting better speed and access cost $20/day. That is far too much. Even the local bars have better free internet. To the management, get with the times and upgrade your internet. You're not the cheapest place in town and yet you have the worst internet access.

Yelp
I hate to only give this a 3 star because if it wasn't so poorly run would be a great location and stay. The pros: The pools are great Its located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown to where if you want the noise you can take a short walk to it The staff at the pool and bars are awesome Our room was a 1 bedroom ocean view and ROCKED The cons: Checkin is a joke. The first thing they tell you is that they need to charge you a first night's hotel (even though I already paid in full) because I didn't want to use the same card for any incidentals. They don't speak great English (ON PURPOSE) Thankfully my Spanglish is sufficient. They immediately push you to their timeshare spoof. Even when you tell them no they push. The restaurants have decent food (there are much better options off property though) The service is TERRIBLE slow though. Don't expect to get in and out timely. AND Good luck getting in or a reservation. They weren't busy but my guess is that since they are so slow they can't accommodate the people staying there. Checkout is even worse. I kept all my receipts and there were some additional charges I questioned on checkout. The gentleman was a dick and acted like he had no idea why I would question them. When I told him I disputed some charges and I have the receipts for proof he said he couldn't help me. Asked for a manager and they all looked around at each other and behaved as if they didn't know what to do. I did finally pull them out and they corrected but what a joke! The timeshare: DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT DO IT They say it's a 90 minute presentation. We were actually interested and came down on our 3rd day to inquiry. The timeshare people are SUPER RUDE. They trolley you over to where the grill is and take forever! They go over your info at least half a dozen times and what they DON'T Tell you is that your 90 minutes starts once you GET UP TO THE SUITE. Good grief, I actually told one lady to pull it together as she was dragging her feet on purpose and she told me to leave if I wasn't going to "go through all the steps with her".

Yelp
Both of my parents and their two friends were just electrocuted sitting in a jacuzzi at the Villa Del Arco resort in Los Cabo, Mexico. My mom felt a vibration and said something isn't right and then her entire body went completely paralyzed and she couldn't move. She was screaming and then became completely paralyzed and couldn't move or speak. My dad could not move his legs but his adrenaline kicked in and he was able to roll to his side to grab my mom, his legs completely paralyzed, but was able to escape the jacuzzi and save my moms life. Once out of the jacuzzi, my mom and dad laid on the ground, not being able to move, until help finally came. They are all at the local hospital now and we are all terrified. The one jacuzzi is being drained, however the pool and all other jacuzzis are still open and the hotel managers are not notifying any other resort guests that 4 guests almost died at their resort. We are not sure what to do now but hope no one else gets electrocuted at Villa Del Arco.

Yelp
Home of the most expensive tacos on the planet. My girlfriend and I got 3 mini tacos each (a 2.5-3 inch diameter soft taco) and 2 margaritas, the total was $39 USD. It's just offensive, not even remotely reasonable. They are clearly trying to push the all inclusive option. Instead we went to Costco and loaded up on food. We won't be spending another cent onsite here. Also upon checking in everyone has to sit through a mandatory sales pitch to try and get you to go to a longer 8 a.m., 90 minute timeshare pitch. Like people want wake up at 8 a.m. on vacation for a timeshare presentation... Our family already owns a unit here, that didn't get us out of the 15-20 minute check-in pitch...
