Villa del Lago, Lakeside

We stayed here for 2 weeks and just moved out. This was a great decision! The view was wonderful and it was well appointed and quiet. Bed was comfortable. The only thing they should fix is the squeaky bathroom door hinge and door handle. I would be happy to stay there again!

We had an amazing 5 night stay the view was stunning right beside the lake, an easy walk or short drive to Queenstown. The Villa was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and each bedroom had its own balcony. The only thing we found a bit difficult was the parking. Would highly recommend staying here we will be back again.

My husband and I stayed at a lakeside suite at Villa Del Lago for part of our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations. You can't beat the views of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu and it's close enough to downtown Queenstown to be able to get there quickly via car or on foot but you get a more intimate and tranquil experience being a little outside the city center. It's also perfect if you plan on preparing meals there and it has in unit laundry which was perfect for us since this was towards the end of our trip. The living space is quite spacious for two people and is very well kept. Would highly recommend if you want to spend time in beautiful Queenstown

Gorgeous views from both the living room and the bedroom and the self check in is seamless. Parking was a hassle, we did find a tight spot in the corner but people had parked in odd spaces next to the small upper floor road which made parking difficult. Property isnt friendly for the disabled. We stayed just for a night and didn’t even bother to haul our luggage up and down the stairs- just brought our small carry ons with what we needed to get ready in the morning and leave. While this could all still be compensated for by the views and location, the morning brought a really unpleasant experience. There was a strange stench coming from somewhere on the porch outside which was confusing because it wasnt there the previous night and the lake is not that close to the property.

Villa Del Lago is all round awesome accomodation, equiped with everything you need. A warm room with an unbelievable view. We enjoyed returning after each day of adventure to a super quiet area and comfy bed. We often walked into Queenstown, which was beautiful along the trail. And we opted to catch the public bus if it was late or we had a big day. We completely forgot about cleaners making up the room halfway through a longer stay and were surprised to come back to a made up room. All the staff communicate clearly and with no doubt would be very helpful if you require any assistance with your stay! Thank you so much, we look forward to staying with you again!

Fantastic property, the perfect accom for our family of 5. Comfortable and safe, and the three levels meant we each had space to enjoy our own downtime. The views are insane, most of these photos are taken straight from the balcony; the jetty is a few paces away. Instant gas fireplace (with remote control!) and heated floor tiles in both bathrooms were a godsend. Full kitchen was well equipped, you don't need to go out for every breakfast, lunch and dinner. Super close to town (less than 5 minutes drive). Parking and access is surprisingly tight, but being on a cliffside that's to be expected! Staff were excellent too, totally out of sight but very friendly and quick to respond with anything needed. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, especially families.

Villa del lago.. I would say the best place to stay in queenstown. The place is so well maintained. The view outside from the room is insane. We searched around 20 other places to stay but I would say this villa is best for the couples or for families. Everything is accessible but still away from the city. Me and my wife planning for this trip from so long, Finally stayed here for 4 nights. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We had a great time there. Planning again hopefully in few months, coming to Queenstown again so I'll just mail them this time no more hassle of searching places to stay. People who are visiting queenstown first time must try and stay in this villa. You gonna love it. 👍🏻

Lovely place. Parking can be a challenge. Easy self check-inane check-out. Had a small problem with one remote but the hello team sorted it immediately. Would recommend anyone visiting Queenstown to stay at the Villadellago
