Villa Del Sol

Faultless from start to finish, a very well managed town houses with every facility you can want. Room were cleaned daily with fresh beach towels. Pool area was spotlessly clean, comfy sun loungers and a 2 minute walk to the beach, shops ans restaurants. |The real gem here was Kristina she made our holiday and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back because of her.

The location was fantastic close to markets, bakeries, and very very close to a small lovely beach. The place was very clean and stuff was friendly and nice. I just didn't like one of the bathrooms and internet connection was very week, otherwise all was good. I would definitely recommend it.

Villa del Sol is an all-round wonderful place. The location is 100 meters from Ornos beach (a 1-minute walk) - one of the very best full-service beaches on Mykonos, and 2 minutes from the bus station that takes you to Mykonos Town (a 10-minute ride, €2 ride). A very good supermarket and two excellent bakeries are a 5 minute walk away, as are a handful of good to great restaurants. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on 3 floors. The 2 upper floors each have a bedroom and bathroom, and the main floor has a well equipped kitchen and living room, as well as a small patio outside facing the pool. The main bedroom on the 2nd level has a large balcony overlooking the pool. The apartment had a washer, and a drying rack on the balcony (with the heat and wind, laundry dries in 30 minutes). The kitchen had a full-size stove with oven, a full-size fridge with feeezer, as well as Nespresso coffe maker, panini-maker, etc. If so desired, a full meal for 4 can be easily prepared with the available kitchen equipment. Everything in the rooms and common areas are high standard, including the bedding, and sparkling clean. Rooms are cleaned daily and the entire property is exceptionally well maintained. Christina, the host, is very friendly and helpful and can arrange car service and rental cars. The place has an upscale feel, and it's hard to imagine anyone will be missing anything substantial at Villa del Sol. The combination of accomodations, location, service, and overall value that Villa del Sol offers makes it an excellent choice on Mykonos.

Fantastic location a minute away from Ornos Beach, 10 minutes to the bus stop into Mykonos Town. Free transfers to the airport or port were a real treat. ||||We were blown away by the quality of these townhouses, gorgeous simple decor, 3 floors with 2 bedrooms, 2 full modern bathrooms, fully airconditioned, full kitchen with utility and washing machine. We didn't expect fresh pool towels, nespresso capsules and immaculate cleaning every day - this is really above and beyond. Each townhouse has it's own terrace outside with table and chairs. ||||The pool is perfect, clean and fresh with plenty of good quality sunbeds with umbrellas. ||||Can't fault it! And can't wait to return.......thank you

This is the most perfect gem of a place Mykonos. Ornos beach is very family friendly and we felt like we found a little slice of paradise here. Christina was wonderful with checking in after we were picked up by the Villa at the airport without any fuss in a very comfortable airconditioned transfer. We stayed here for four nights with two other families at the villa. It is great for a family as has a kitchen and laundry. The supermarket is a short walk to get the most delicious pastries for breakfast and frappe. The pool is great and the beach is a 2 minute walk, if that. The rooms are very comfortable and airconditioned. Highly recommend staying at Villa Del Sol - we will definitely be back!

We only stayed for 1 night unfortunately, but the apartment was really very good. Great quality furniture, beds, linnen etc. Very clean and well kept. Nice pool belonging to the property and close to the Ornos beach which is too busy for my taste. there are buses to Mykonos City, which take 15-20 min. or a cab ride of 5-7 min,

My family of four (kids are 7 and 5) have just spent a week at Villa del Sol and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The villas are idea for a family. Airy, bright and clean, they are serviced daily by the happy and friendly cleaning team. Clean bath and pool towels are provided daily. The pool is perfect for lounging next to and relaxing and for swimming. The hotel staff are very helpful and always available for any advice or assistance. ||||Being in Mykonos at the very end of the season meant that many restaurants and shops were closed, but after spending a couple days driving around the island, I’d definitely say that Ornos was the best place to be as both beach restaurants were still open and both had excellent food, although Galazio was probably better value for money. ||||We would definitely choose to stay at Villa del Sol if we come to Mykonos again.

We booked at GT Suites through Expedia but they put us up here. Glad they did. Villas Del Sol units are newer and pool area is much better. WiFi is great and there are many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, bakery, coffee shops and ATM’s within walking distance. There is no need to rent a car if you are going here.||Very happy with this place and amenities. Ornos beach is right around the corner if you want to pay 25-30€ to rent a couple chairs and sit by the beach with hundreds of other people. Not sure why you’d do this when you can have an entire pool by yourself or just a few folks who are staying here. If I come back to Mykonos there is no other place I will stay. This is your place.
