We stayed here for two nights at the end of March to attend the Laetare of Stavelot. I almost cancelled my reservation because I sent them two e-mails with simple questions (whether I'd need an extension cord for my CPAP, and whether we'd need reservations for the Thermes de Spa) in perfect French, and the emails weren't even acknowledged. (As it turned out, we were supposed to have reservations for the thermes, but they let us in anyway). |I'm glad we stayed, because the room was comfortable (we chose one of the larger rooms), and the location is convenient. About 10 steps are required to get into the front entrance, with no ramp available, so the elderly or disabled should be prepared. The breakfast was decent, although they only told us on the 2nd day that we could have some eggs prepared. Unclear why it wasn't mentioned the first day. |The other issue of which one should be aware is that check-in times are quite limited. If you can deal with the negatives, it's a solid place to stay, especially their better rooms. If they don't want to answer their emails, they could at least generate an automated response that the emailbox isn't monitored--or delete the e-mail address all together.

Great location, close walk to a funicular taking yoi to thermal spa. Interesting building with beautiful backyard. Very pretty dining room. Polite staff. Heating rack in a bathroom so you can dry your clothes. |However, very bad breakfast, minimal choices, nothing cooked on site. Difficult parking if you drive a bigger car, but possible to find street parking.

Great location right in the centre of the town near all the restaurants and sights. It has a large car park although it’s not easy to get a large car through the narrow entrance, but it’s free to just park on the busy street outside. Very friendly staff provide excellent service and a lovely fresh breakfast. It’s a nice quirky old hotel but do double check your room the double en-suite we booked turned out to be around a lift shaft so you could only get out of one side of the bed so we upgraded to their new annex.

We enjoyed the stay in this hotel.|The service is nice, the personnel is professional.|The hotel is a historical location, obviously it belonged to one of the noble families. The house reminds me a museum: you feel as you dived into the history surrounded by typical furniture, paintings on the walls, decorations, small details of the past. We really loved these vibes.|Breakfast is very good, you can find all you need. |We got a very small room close to the elevator, but we were lucky enough that the evening we stayed it was relatively calm, so we slept well.

Great quiet spot in Spa. Lovely grounds, well located; nice breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds could use some updating. Also, Americans beware... no AC in summertime; usually not a problem but worth noting. I'd be happy to visit again.

Found this nice place bang in the town centre. Don’t arrive with a massive car as you will struggle to get through the doors into the car park. Very accommodating hostess.||The room was massive. If anything, it was too big! Lots of wood, made it just a little bit less comfortable. But all in all a really good stay. Breakfast was very good when I had got the hang of the egg making machine! I grew attached to your robot lawnmower!||||

This is a lovely hotel ! Upon arrival we found the car park easily and staff were very friendly. The location is excellent and very central. The room itself was very confortable and quiet. I think it was one of their older rooms but it was still nice. Internet worked very well and the bed was confortable. I loved the Nuxe toiletries in the bathroom, a lovely touch ! We were very impressed by the breakfast, lots of choice and many local products.
