An excellent choice while visiting Rovinj.||We were very happy with our stay at Villa Dobravac. It is an easy 10 -15 minute walk to the Old Town. There are hotels within the Old Town if your prefer, but being a few minutes outside of the Old Town gives you a bit more breathing room (in my opinion).||Villa Dobravac is a family run hotel with a very nice boutique feel. The interior is modern, crisp and comfortable. There is nice seating outside on their terrace, from which you have a nice view of trees and the Old Town. They have a bar with light snacks that is open all day. They also make their own wine and olive oil and serve these as well. Breakfast is a very nice buffet of assorted item and they will also cook eggs to order.||I believe we may have had one of the smallest rooms, and no view (as it was the last room available when we booked). Despite the smallness and lack of view it was still quite comfortable. We were visiting during a particularly hot spell, so it was very nice to have one of the best AC systems that I have had in Europe. Good controls for temperature and fan speed that actually worked! Rooms and public spaces felt very clean. The only criticism I have was the room lighting. I thought it was not the most functional. No lighting near our wardrobe and I believe only 1 overhead light in the room. However the reading lights on either side of the bed were very good, with goose necks that allowed you to point the light exactly where you want it. Also - our bathroom was very spacious and the shower very nice.||After a day walking the Old Town or touring with our car, it was nice to sit and relax on the terrace with one of their delicious wines (or a beer or cocktail as you wish).||||We were very happy with our stay at Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Rovinj.||By the way- we feel Rovinj in one of the most appealing towns to stay in on the Istrian peninsula, and there are a good restaurants 3-4 minute walking distance from the hotel, should you prefer not to go into town.
