Villa Fredbo

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Fredbo for three months while completing my diving course in Fagerstrand, Norway, and it couldn't have been a more perfect home during that time. Line has created an incredibly beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and welcoming space that radiates her amazing energy. I stayed in the caravan, which was cozy, comfortable, and fully equipped for a long stay. The surrounding environment is peaceful, quiet, and restorative, making it the ideal place to unwind after long training days. Line's attention to detail and the genuine care she puts into everything-from the atmosphere to the small touches that make you feel at home -truly elevates the experience. Villa Fredbo made my stay in Spro not only easier, but so much more enjoyable. I'm deeply grateful for the warmth, comfort, and serenity I found here. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Line is warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. You can tell that every corner of this place has been created with love. The house itself is something out of a dream: beautifully decorated, full of charm and character, with so many little details that make it feel both cozy and special. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you instantly feel at peace. The garden and outdoor spaces are absolutely stunning. Villa Fredbo is more than a place to stay — it’s an experience. If you're looking for something beautiful, peaceful, and truly unique, I can’t recommend it enough.

A Magical, Rustic Retreat at Villa Fredbo We recently hosted a larger event at Villa Fredbo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The venue itself is a beautifully restored wooden house, brimming with rustic charm and artistic touches, thanks to the hostess’s background as an interior designer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with unique features like an outdoor area crafted from old Tivoli railings and a serene pond filled with lovely fish. The property is nestled next to a wooded area, giving the entire venue a secluded, nature-filled vibe that made us feel worlds away. The garden and outdoor spaces were nothing short of breathtaking. Despite the unpredictable Norwegian summer rain, the hostess provided extra tents, which kept most of the guests dry, allowing the live band to play and the crowd to dance comfortably. The combination of natural surroundings and well-thought-out spaces made for a magical atmosphere. From the beginning, the hostess was clear about the rental expectations, making the planning process smooth. While we were responsible for organizing bar staff, servers, and chefs for the barbecue, the outdoor kitchen and an additional small indoor hut with kitchen facilities were more than adequate for our needs. It’s also important to note that the outdoor areas are in constant improvement, and some spots are still a work in progress, which we had to plan around. However, this didn’t detract from the overall experience. The hostess was very helpful leading up to the event, providing us with great advice on how to organize the day and offering creative ideas for decorating the space based on her previous experiences. Additionally, after the event, cleaning was our responsibility, which was clearly communicated upfront and easy to manage. With a group of around 50 guests, Villa Fredbo was the perfect size, offering ample space without feeling too large or too cramped. The staff we hired for the event complemented the venue perfectly—professional, attentive, and well-versed in creating a seamless experience. The venue’s unique layout, combined with its intimate, artistic ambiance, ensured that everyone had an incredible time, rain or shine. In summary, Villa Fredbo is a hidden gem that combines rustic elegance with nature, offering a one-of-a-kind setting for any event. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to host our celebration.

I lived here autumn 2024. This place i straight out from the novel "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau - filled with majesty, beauty and wonder. I've come to know Line as a welcoming host and a warmhearted person. I'd recommend the place for a summer wedding, and Airbnb-experience, or simply a place to recharge, reconnect and rest a weary soul.

Good and peacful place to live. No one disturbe. Also wi-fi available and free parking spot.

Vi hadde en flott feiring i skogshagen på Villa Fredbo som vi leide i forbindelse med dåpsfest. Hagen og området er virkelig vakkert, og Line hadde pyntet og klargjort alt som avtalt. Hyggelig og ryddig kommunikasjon i forkant og underveis på dagen. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake og kan anbefale Villa Fredbo på det varmeste😊

En nydelig plass. Tilbragte en natt i Orangeriet og ble blåst av banen over hvor nydelig det var på Villa Fredbo. Line er en svært oppmerksom vert og strekker seg langt utover forventet. Vi fikk gode anbefalinger om steder i området vi kunne besøke, flott omvisning på plassen og hun var alltid behjelpelig med alt som tidspunkt for utsjekk og med meget rask responstid. Hagen er helt nydelig og det synes godt at Line er fagperson innen estetikk, detaljer og landskapsarkitektur. Kan også varmt anbefale en utflukt til gruven som ligger i nærheten. Helt nydelig. Kun en kort spasertur unna.
