Stayed here for my daughters wedding in Mexico 3 evenings this past Feb. along with the rest of my family and the grooms family, ||It was beautiful! Each room different and unique. The staff was friendly professional accommodating and helpful in every way. They were wonderful!!!!! The accommodations were elegant and unbelievably comfortable!!! I feel asleep immediately every night and felt so rested. The garden/ courtyard area was so special. We loved having coffee and meeting there. Cute delicious small coffee sandwich shop right next door, close to 7-11 if you needed anything and about 40 minutes or so from the airport.||The evening resident, an adorable and big Gray and white cat made us feel even more at home and he was so cute in his little tuxedo tie. This was my first visit to Mexico and the entire experience was A+ . The city is beautiful and so full of history. Visited a shopping area close by with great stores, artists galleries & outdoor vendors. |Everything was so colorful and fun decorated for Valentines Day and we got to see the set up for all the festivities being planned to celebrate Guadalajara's birthday and history.

Beautiful botique hotel tucked away in colonial Americana. Walkable to many restaurants and much cleaner area than downtown. The hotel itself was very well curated. Breakfast food was delicious. Staff very helpful, set up rides to and from the airport, advice on our day trips. We did the Jose Cuervo day trip to tequila and would recommend. Overall highly recommend for a wonderful stay in Guadalajara

If you want to experience perfection, Villa Ganz is it! Nestled in a quiet area of Col Americana, it is a true refuge after a day exploring. The Villa is updated and beautiful. Much attention to detail. The staff is amazing. Cecelia, Armando, Daniel, Ivan, Carlos, Fernando and the lady chef made sure everything thing about our stay was fantastic. We never wanted for anything. Best omelette ever! Onsite restaurant, full bar, lovely patio/dining area. Looking forward to our return.

Hotel Villa Ganz is a beautiful boutique hotel located in Guadalajara’s Colonia Americana neighborhood. Housed in a renovated mansion, the hotel features a relaxing courtyard where guests can enjoy food and drinks. The food is freshly made and reasonably priced—I highly recommend the birria tacos. The entire staff is great, but Iván and Fernando were especially helpful and such a pleasure to get to know. We also enjoyed the sleepy cat who is always lounging around the courtyard. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet and safe place to stay in Guadalajara.

Villa Ganz was extraordinary in so many ways. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. I felt as if I was a queen, being cared for in so many ways, including the delivery each night of hot water for my tea. The outdoor patio is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to relax, sip a lemonade or margarita, enjoy the local birds, and read, or have a fun conversation. I seriously wanted to live there! And, it’s close to many good restaurants, including the Lebanese restaurant next door and a couple coffee shops within a 10 minute walk. A very safe neighborhood. I feel so lucky that I was able to stay at this hotel. I will never forget what a wonderful experience I had there and hope to return someday.

Where to start? The remodeling of this beautiful boutique hotel is almost complete. The ambience and decor are charming. No matter where you find yourself on this property you will feel like you are at home. The team, led by Armando (and Caro), are personable and professional. No matter who is serving you, you will feel like family. I can't imagine returning to Guadalajara and not returning to Villa Ganz. Everything was perfect.

An all around 5 star stay at this quaint boutique hotel. The rooms are very well appointed with everything you will need for your business or leisure travel. Hotel staff are very attentive and friendly at all hours of the day making sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. I stayed for 5 nights and had an absolutely delightful experience. Guadalajara can be a very busy city, the location of this hotel is cozy and quiet. Walking distance to several great restaurants, bars and art museums. Situated on a small one way street in a safe neighborhood.

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel in a great neighborhood. Our ground floor room--opening out into the interior patio--was very quiet and comfortable. There are many excellent restaurants within walking distance. It is very easy to find a cab or an Uber to get to Guadalajara's historic center, to Tlaquepaque, and other places to visit. The hotel staff--Armando, Cecelia, Carlos, and all the rest--were welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastically helpful. Breakfasts, served in the restful patio area, are excellent and reasonably priced. In the evening one can order marvelous margaritas accompanied by snacks and just relax after a day of sightseeing. We'll definitely stay at the Villa Ganz the next time we are in Guadalajara.

Yelp
Hidden Gem in a fantastic neighborhood. Came to celebrate two birthdays. We loved the hotel and restaurant so much we begged Armondo to help us book an extra night. I stayed in room 11 , which was fantastic. The cat Bubba slept in chair outside . The 6 or 8 course tasting menu is a must. You must reserve this . We actually did the 6 course twice. Both times were surprisingly different and delicious. Can not wait to return

Yelp
Fantastic hotel, a short walk from bars and restaurants. We checked in and couldn't have felt more welcome and comfortable. Our room was overlooking their tranquil courtyard, with a hammock. Hotel staff were courteous and offered great advice. Could not recommend this hotel enough!

Yelp
We came to visit an artist friend in GDL and stayed for 4 nights in the #17 Jacinta room upstairs, street side of the hotel, but actually not too noisy. Location of hotel is excellent. Staff is very good - young, enthusiastic, eager to please. Cleanliness is excellent. The garden area was beautiful and we had our breakfast there. What would have merited another star - a higher quality breakfast. I asked for sugar free plain yogurt - none was available. Fruit plate could be more attractive and varied - after all, it's Mexico, where there is guava, mamey, and other fruits beyond papaya and pineapple. The breads could be of higher quality, herbal tea could be loose leaf instead of tea bags - other than that, I enjoyed my stay. GDL is definitely not my favorite town, but if I had to return, I might consider staying at Villa Ganz again.

Yelp
What a serene, lovely hotel! This magnificent mansion built in the 1920's sits in the heart of Colonia Lafayette which is a contemporary part of the city bustling with cars, buses, taxis and pedestrians. Restaurants and nightlife abound in the area. Once inside you are transformed into a by-gone era of beautiful old world Spanish Colonial furnishings and beautifully manicured gardens. This is a small boutique hotel and we were stayed in the grand master suites, Doloritas Suite, which was so lovely with its front sitting area with beautiful old candle that they would light at night. Despite the traffic at night the room was extremely quiet and we slept well every night and felt very safe. The bed, pillows and linens were wonderful and the room is kept very clean as is the rest of the property. The services were superb; the staff makes you feel as if it is your home and they are there to please. Each staff member does a multitude of duties and all were wonderful especially Armando, Lydia and Montania who was always ready with my morning coffee. But I actually could go on and on because all the staff were warm friendly and very accommodating. After a long day of touring it was great to have an evening glass of wine a little cheese which was complimentary or you could have a cocktail or a glass of fine tequila and relax in the main living room or sit out in the garden or terrace. We had breakfast every morning on the terrace with complimentary muffins, fruit and cold cereal and coffee. They also have a small menu where you can have eggs, bacon, french toast or pancakes. We stuck primarily with 2 fried eggs with toast everyday and they where very good and very inexpensive especially when you consider hotel prices. We also met the owners Sally and Click who are wonderful, keeping a watchful eye over all the goings on. They live in a lovely upper level apartment behind the terrace. The household cat, Buba, is a sweet as can be and just makes you feel more at home. We certainly had a wonderful weeks vacation in Guadalajara enhanced by staying at the wonderful Villa Ganz!

Yelp
OMG what a fabulous long weekend I had at this tranquil full service resort-like boutique hotel. It's multiple four diamond awards are well deserved! Highly recommend!
