very nice Boutique Hotel. The rooms are not recent, but very clean and classic. The service is excellent as well as their restaurant. We recommend this hotel!

A beautiful establishment, very well maintained, very clean in an old house from the beginning of the last century. A limited number of rooms, a high quality breakfast and a restaurant which has a very good reputation in the area.|A very nice little swimming pool which overlooks the town of Licata. We chose this place because it was difficult to find decent accommodation near the valley of the temples of Agrigento. It's certainly a little far, but very appreciable.

My room was very clean and comfortable, everything was as you would expect a very nice hotel should be, the staff spoke English and was very accommodating, the location was a little off the well traveled path but was well worth the very short drive to get to as the views were awesome because your on the point of a hill overlooking the town/ valley below. Lots of free off-street parking. Breakfast was very good with several choices of different things and was very filling. If my travels ever permit me to come this way again I would definitely come back here again. Thanks, Rick. Jan 2nd, 2024

Beautifully located hotel in the small city in the south coast of Sicily. Hotel has only 12 rooms (around), even when it is fully booked you can feel like the only guest in it. Very calm and peaceful athmospere during our whole stay. Building is located on the slope of the hill which gives amazing views. Hotel staff is very helpful, nice and always ready to share some advise. Rooms aren't modern, but it is done on purpose in my opinion. Ours was very cozy, had a nice balcony with furnitures and offered everything we needed during our 7 days stay. Bed was very wide and comfortable with night stands and individual lights on each side. A lot of space to keep your clothes out of the suitcase and big wooden desk with coffee/tea set. Pretty big TV with selection of international stations and radios. Very well equipped bathroom with all necessary amenities you need during your stay. Minibar (prices pretty reasonable) and safe available. Room interior was arranged with very nice wooden furnitures in old/retro style which suits very much to the hotel exterior look. Outside the building you can find free parking (gravel) with EV chargers. Small pool with sun beds is located on the terrace and offers amazing views. The only small issue is an access to the pool which sometimes might be limited by the events which are taking places in the hotel as the pool is just next to the event area. Breakfast was tasty and there was enough selection of products to fill your stomach everyday. Food was fresh and staff was filling out missing items on time. Totally recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival they gave us a warm welcome and we got a free upgrade to a suite with the most wonderful view. Room was luxurious and very clean. We absolutely lived the dinner, especially the tuna tartare. Also at breakfast we were surprised with the delicious home made pies and cakes. Thank you for making us feel special! A huge compliment for the service in your hotel.

I traveled to Licata because it's the beautiful little city that my maternal grandfather grew up in. I was fortunate enough to choose Villa Giuliana. The staff is small because it's a 12 room villa.....don't mistake small for "not enough". The ladies at the reception desk switch out - so you do get comfortable with them. When they found out that I am Sicilian - they were - if possible - even warmer to me. Ciara - hope I spelled it correctly - told me that she would speak to me in Sicilian so that I would learn more. It was wonderful. The rooms are small & clean. Your 1st thought might be that it's just too small, but I promise you that will be the only time it crosses your mind. The restaurant is way above par! For breakfast they have the typical European buffet - fruits/pastries/meats & cheeses/ cereal/eggs & potatoes. Ice isn't a real big thing there - but I asked for ice "ghiaccio" for my fresh juice on my 1st morning. The 2nd morning the young lady came out with a glass of ice for me. She never forgot & I had ice every morning. Dinner there was an experience! Every night we would receive aa "gift from the chef". All different & everyone a culinary thrill. From the pulpo salad to the tiny arancini. The Quadratini - 4 corners - was pasta like a ravioli that was stuffed with eggplant & had strips of fried eggplant with a fresh Pomodoro sauce on it . The filetto's - beef tenderloin - cut with a fork. The pork that was cooked in a red wine were ridiculous! I could eat that every day - with bread to dip in the juices!! From the villa there is a view of a castle - which we didn't appreciate until we saw it at night. It looked like gold! I'll add some pics here. The view from the Villa is outstanding! You can see over the edge of the pool out to the Strait of Sicily. No noise from airplanes. This is not a place to go if you usually bury yourself in electronics. Go there to breathe & be in peace. Villa Giuliana will help you achieve that! Licata - where I want to be & will be in 2025! I will be booking at Villa Giuliana! Licata is amazing - beautiful & quiet. I yearn for it!

This is a small hotel (about 12 rooms) in a fully renovated historical villa overlooking the town of Licata, well away from all traffic and noise. Staff are very gracious & hospitable, service is excellent in every respect. All the staff speak English well - a pleasant surprise. It is clean and very well-maintained.||||The rooms are a bit smaller than an average hotel, but this is more than made up by the very pleasant public rooms & lounges on the main floor, and the beautiful and extensive garden areas outside. Rooms are comfortable, with all the amenities one could want, and surprisingly soft (by Italian standards) & comfortable beds. Internet is fast and free.||||I stayed here for 3 nights, it was easily the best hotel I stayed at during a 4 week tour of Sicily. The hotel restaurant is excellent.||||You do need a car, though, if you stay here - it is located well away from the downtown area (not that there is much worth seeing in Licata).
