"This picturesque park maintained by F.A.I. (Fondo Ambiente Italiano) offers a manicured version of wild nature that drew artists and writers away from the sights of Rome in the 19th century. It's definitely a feast for the eyes but is a decent workout too, with a trail leading you past a waterfall (don't miss!), caves, grottos, and up and down lots of stairs. FAI recommends one-and-a-half to two hours to do the full loop around the park." - Laura Itzkowitz, Arlene Gibbs

Gorgeous place to visit. You will get scenic views, with amazing grotta, waterfalls and great scenery. It's one of my favorite places in Italy, something out of this world. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

One of the most beautiful places I have been too, and I have been to a lot. The big waterfall is actually almost twice as high as Niagara Falls and there are several very beautiful waterfalls. The trails and views are simply stunning with grottos and caves everywhere as well as tunnels carved thru the rock wall with "windows" to see the gorge. Tivoli is also a very nice town with lots of other sites to see. Be aware tho that there are lots and lots of stairs that are big steps and steep at times so it would be a moderate level of hiking .

Hello friends and fellow tourists. Do you suffer from diabetes? Do you happen to have cardiac problems? Do you have edema? Should you say yes to any and all of these at the same time, visiting here just might kill you! I know what you're thinking. This reviewer is full of hyperbole. If you think I'm just abusing words to get the point across, I am not. I am trying to be as perspicacious as possible. You may get down the ravine, but coming up, if you are physically challenged, it will make it very very hard for you. Do not misunderstand me. I'm not trying to scare you away. But those of you who have friends that happen to be challenged by their hight because they're too short for their weight. Or if your friend also is a lifelong chain smoker and not a fit Italian smoker. Then you might want to visit the pastry shop and not this place. In all seriousness, physically challenged and medically challenged, people should just visit the bookstore at the end of the trail. Take pictures of the temple and brag to their friends by copying photos from the internet that they walked the whole place. While we walked the trail, my wife, friend, and I, talked about all the people that would die along the way. As Florida residents not used to hills or mountains, it was an experience for us. It's definitely worth a visit if you got €10 per person to blow. Please check out the pictures and videos to know that we did the whole trail.

Gorgeous walk through wooded area down to a gorge with beauty’s views of the waterfalls, interesting history, took about an hour to go down and back up the other side (separate entrance and exit). Only thing to add is paths are not marked clearly, they give you a QR code for a map at the start with numbered marks along the path however these are not marked along the trail. I would suggest adding arrows with the corresponding numbers to the paths for a better experience. Would do again.

This is a not to be missed experience. Take your time to stroll through and enjoy the entire villa. What an absolute gem! No discounts for students. Toilets are super clean.

Amazing gorge and views. It's a very difficult path if you are physically out of shape, but it's worth it. Two giant waterfalls, caves, ancient house ruins on the cliff side. Natural stone fountains. Takes about 2-2.5 hours at a safe slow pace.

I’m an archaeologist, I love gardens, and I love challenging hikes, so this place ticked all the boxes. It’s the best place to visit in Tivoli so don’t miss it! The entry price is very reasonable (around €8) and it helps to maintain the site for future generations. The site covers the Palaeolithic to Modern period. There are ruins of buildings and landscape features throughout the gorge. It’s a fantastic example of how engineering has been used to manage the natural environment. There are benches placed throughout the gorge to sit and rest. I’d recommend visiting early before it gets too hot, or wear a sun hat! They also have water fountains to fill up your bottles which is great. You can easily spend 2-3 hours here. And there are lots of restaurants nearby for afterwards. Or bring your own sandwiches and chill on one of the many benches. The site is not accessible to walk through for people with mobility issues as there are a lot of steps which are uneven, and I can imagine these can get very slippery in wet weather. However, there are view points at various places (like the visitor centre by the Temple) so stick to these places if you just want to check out the views.

Absolutely gorgeous place! This natural park offers beautiful sceneries, great views, long paths, amazing waterfalls and a lot of greenery. There is a small cave as well. The park itself is quite big, so prepare to spend here around 2 hours, and better shoes are recommended, since the terrain is rugged and sometimes steep(and that's also why I wouldn't recommend to come here with small children). At the entrance, they give you a map with all the stops - there are also several places marked that you can skip if you want to spend less time in the park.
