Villa Grey

We had a lovely four day stay at this hotel which had all the comforts of home. Attention to detail is evident throughout. The breakfast was very good which included my favorite which is focaccia - they even make it with whole wheat which I have never seen before. The staff is very supportive and on call always. The walk into town is doable and the beach was magical. Thank you for all your efforts. We hope to be back next year.

Amazing services and stuff. Great place to stay in FDM. Bikes for rent ( no need to reserve it, they have plenty of very simple bikes ) - if you need better bike there are rental offices on town where you can rent electric or faster bikes. Without bike or car everything is far:) Rooms are little bit smaller but modest and clean with great views. Private beach is clean and you have there “your cabana” with 2sunbeds, 1chair and 2sunseats with towels. Beach bar is open till 19:00. Room cleaning twice a day. Offer of car transport to Viareggio or anywhere close(van for at least 6people). Nice calm place with privacy.

Very, very nice chic hotel in Forte deli Marmi. Service was outstanding, they even send a car for you after you've had dinner at a restaurant in town. The location is perfect, a few blocks walking distance from he town center. They have bicycles to use for free. The streets have large cycling lanes. The beach club was nice.

This year the stunning boutique Hotel Villa Grey fascinated the guests with a new restaurant, Il Parco, beautifully located in the accurate garden.||The intention of the Larini Family - the hotel owners - is to delight with a gourmet cuisine, leveraging on the ability of the acclaimed Chef Nicola Gronghi. ||Chef Gronchi is pretty young, but very much experienced. His philosophy is to base each dish on top ingredients, using high techniques for creations at the same time classical and contemporary, innovative but easy to be “understood”. Each dish speak the Chef language, the message arrive clear to your mouth and head, it is not only beautiful to see. The taste is rich and balanced by some freshness. The same ingredient can be declined in different textures, temperatures and forms, and the result is sublime!||You will enjoy an unforgettable dinner especially if you will accept the suggestions from the Chef, with the 7 or 5 course menus. ||Do not miss Il Parco: just that is worth a visit to the Hotel Villa Grey!

I had the pleasure of dining here at Il Parco and it did not let me down! The food and service were impeccable. Perfect location, what a treat! My only flaw would be that there was a strange sound coming from the kitchen halfway through the meal, it was quite loud and distracting and other guests were guessing what the sound was too.. maybe a generator or something like a mixer or blender? This need to be addressed as it did ruin the atmosphere a little for being so loud. Other than that, i will definitely return.

Absolutely disappointing experience. We have been here a year ago and loved the place, the service unfortunately has gone down. The manager (Fabio)of the restaurant was absolutely rude. We were sitting at table were there was loud music blasting from a neighboring table. We asked politely if we could be moved to a different table. The waiter said he would have to ask the manager. After talking to the manager he didn’t give us his answer but continued as nothing was happening assuring us they asked the neighboring table to turn down their computer games. ( side note we are at a Michelin Star restaurant and loud computer games are tolerated) We had to ask multiple times to be moved to a different table even though there were 5 table empty and 3 remained empty till the end of the night. We were told that they can’t call the police on people who playing loud music, so we said at this point for the fourth time that we understand and we don’t expect that, we just want a different table. The manager refused again, and said we could change after our pasta dish. So we took our plates and went to one of the empty tables. The staff then granted us the new table. The manager afterwards decided to ignore us and left his staff that didn’t know how to behave anymore without guidance. The staff at least apologized where as the manager didn’t feel that that was necessary. We had reservations for another night which we cancelled. The food was good but unfortunately also no comparison to last year. The waiter arranged a sort of discount, but the mere fact that the manager really didn’t see anything wrong in his behavior was very disappointing.

What a beautiful and stlyish Hotel in Forte dei Marmi! Love the interieur!||Located directly across the street to the beach club, which is also perfect!||Very nice personnel, super clean and a lot of services included! (eg. free bike rentals, free transfer to city centre) - it's just 20 mins. walk to the "center of Forte dei Marmi"||||You may also want to have dinner at "The Park", not cheap, but worth every cent - amazing food!
