Villa Hibiscus

Emilia is a wonderful host. The property is very close to the 172 bus stop from the port of Ischia. Just up a small hill. Very accessible. Go to Porto Forio and enjoy the restaurants and shopping and the wonderful sights like the Chiesa del Soccorso, Giardini di Poseidon, Sant’Angelo beach. It’s such a cute hotel and has air conditioning and a garden. Terrace to watch the sunset by the marina.

We loved our stay at Hotel Hibiscus! The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach with the cleanest, warmest water, perfect for families. We grabbed the hotel’s chairs and umbrellas every day and it made beach time so easy. The pools are great too, especially the warm one with jets — so relaxing after a day out. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Wish we knew everyone’s names, but William stood out — he made the absolute best coffees and was always so kind. It’s also only a 5-minute walk to Forio’s old town, which was perfect for evening strolls and dinners. Overall, this place had everything we needed — great location, amazing staff, and awesome amenities. We’d definitely come back!

We were a family of 5 over from England. This is a great little hotel. Very well located about 3 mins walk up a steep mountain road, which comes off a larger main road, where the marina is and also the excellent beach. The hotel is right next to the bus stop called (Hibiscus) and the buses go both ways, depending which direction you need to go. If the hotel happens to read this, then we would recommend one area where improvements could be made, and that is the Breakfast offering. We would have thought it would be reasonably easy to offer some variety from day to day. You could have some cooked items, like sausages, bacon, roasted tomatoes, roasted potatoes, maybe pancakes with syrup? Maybe not every day, but every 2nd day? The coffee service was very good. Brilliant swimming pool area. Lovely landscaped grounds. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel is amazing. The staff are excellent and very kind. We found the rooms to be beautiful, we had an amazing ocean view, and it’s a convenient walk to the beach and the shopping and restaurants in Forio. We would recommend to others.

This hotel discriminates guests with disabilities and mobility issues. I can see reviews from last month from people with limitations saying the host and staff were rude and unresponsive. I have a disability and got the same treatment. I informed the hotel about my condition and explained that I need to know about stairs etc in the hotel and I never got a reply. Only after chasing 3 times, I got an arrogant and rude reply from the hotel saying that THEY HAVE SO MANY GUESTS, THAT THEY DON'T NEED TO BOTHER REPLYING TO REQUESTS IN DUE TIME!. That shows that a) the quality of the guests staying her is very low (in the UK we are used to businesses doing their jobs and attending customers promptly IN ANY CASE) and b) The hotel sees guests as a cash cow and after payment is taken, they couldn't care less about their comfort and safety. Thankfully, in the same area, there are many more properties with better review ratings so have a look and don't let a Hotel treat you badly like this.

What a great discovery! Hotel Hibiscus was the ideal place for our family of six to stay. The accommodation was clean, spacious and the adjoining terrace, overlooking Firio and the the sea, was beautiful. |Great location too, just a five minute stroll to local sandy beaches, or into Forio Town. |Hotel swimming pool was the perfect place to relax and the included breakfast was a real bonus.||We will definitely stay here again.

Very cute hotel in Forio, Ischia. The location was perfect, which made our trip so much better (super close to the sea and the center of Forio, which is one of the cutest part of the island - also very easy and fast access to the bus route). The owners and staff are extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel. Should I go back to Ischia, I would definitely go back to Villa Hibiscus.

This was our fifth (!) visit to this gorgeous little hotel in Forio. It has a lovely position in a quiet area amid the lush Mediterranean greenery overlooking the long and sandy beach of Chiaia. The hotel is at 5 min. walk from the sea and 15 min. from the very attractive medieval center. Hotel Villa Hibiscus features one bigger outdoor pool and one indoor thermal pool, both perfectly clean. The room with balcony was always spotlessly clean and has a comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but clean and usable. The buffet-style breakfast with cappuccino and delicious Italian-Mediterranean dinner were perfectly suitable for us. ||||Villa Hibiscus is a 3-star hotel in price but it is in reality a 4-star hotel in service. The friendliness and warmth of the staff will compensate for any exstras you are seeking.||||We would definitely stay here again if we return to Forio. We really recomend Hotel Villa Hibiscus! You won't be disappointed.
